But not on my desktop, nothing will come off the task bar to the desktop like it should. I have contacted the manufacturer, like most tech support they are useless. I will most likely buy a new monitor and return the connector.

Posted .The USB to HDMI Display Adapter requires an installation of a driver. Once installation is complete, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." Check if your desktop is extended to the additional monitor, and adjust the display settings accordingly. Navigate to "Taskbar settings." Check if the taskbar is set to display on all monitors.
