I purchased these based on reviews and because they were on sale for $99. Honestly I debated returning them because of their subpar mic, weak ANC, and mediocre Audio quality (per my taste). I was swayed on keeping these over getting Sony or Bose offerings because of the $99 price point, the dual pairing, battery life, and charging case. More than $99 and I would not recommend.

Connection with the laptop may be interrupted sometime after unplugging from ears and plugging back. The sound quality is so so, but ok for office use.

Not Much Better Than Cheaper Earbuds

I had high hopes for these, I figured if paying about $200, that these would provide an excellent listening experience, but they did not prove better than my other brand of earbuds and headphones that are bluetooth. I expected a very rich sound, but my other ones are richer. I look for the sound quality mainly, not so much other features but if you look for custom-ability and personalization, these may be for you. The plus is these have very good materials, nothing is cheap-feeling. I particularly liked the case. I recommend using the app because it controls most of the earbuds. The battery is good. I had trouble connecting them to my smart phone, and it kept repeating a message to look for Jabra on my bluetooth list and select it. I recommend them if you don't mind paying the extra money for earbud sound just as good as cheaper ones, and like to use an app and customize these to your liking. Otherwise, I don't recommend them.

FIT: Obviously, this varies greatly from person to person as we all have different ear shapes. Their previous smallest earbuds were the Jabra 75T and these are supposed to be 16% smaller. Which appear accurate (see picture). I find these to be incredibly comfortable and usually forget they are in my ears and must admit out of all the wireless earbuds I own these are probably the second most comfortable only being beaten by the AirPods Pro. BUILD QUALITY/CASE: Overall build quality feels great. The case and earbuds feel like a premium product. The buttons on the device itself feel great to press with mild pre/post travel with satisfying clicks that don’t make a lot of noise and only mildly transfer into the eardrums. I’ve found battery life to be fantastic and they last a long time. They report 8 hours with the buds and then an additional 30 hours with the case. This appears accurate from my non-scientific testing. When they get to about 20% they will tell you the battery is low. Then go a long time before telling you it is low again. As it gets to the 2 - 3% it increases the frequency. During each of these alerts I noticed some static and disconnection from each bud, which sorted itself out within a second or two. They also have fast charging where five minutes will net you an hour. Overall charge time is quick as well. It comes with IP57 rating. Which is amazing making them able to be submersed in water. So even the hardest workouts won’t dent these, and you can even use them in the shower or hot tub. It has Bluetooth 5.2 which is the newest standard. Jabra Sound+ App is fantastic with a bunch of customizability options. Albeit a bit less with these than the Jabra 75T. Onboard controls for the most part worked fantastic first try without any issues or lag. Especially Play/pause, skip forward, and skip backward. I had an issue when I had ANC, Hear Through, and Off selected. But going to just ANC and Hear Through I had no issues. Voice Assistant was the least consistent but worked most of the time. I like this case A LOT. It’s very small and compact and easily fits into your pocket with a good coating so it isn’t too slippery. It is smaller than any of the others I have which include Sennheiser, AirPods, AirPods Pro, and Jabra Elite 75T. It has a USB C port on the front and supports Qi charging. With the top and bottom of the case being flush it can make it semi-difficult to open the case with one hand. The earbuds are held in magnetically and snap into place which feels good. The latch is also magnetic and feels good to open and close. SOUND: Again, this is quite subjective from person to person. But personally, I think they sound fantastic better than my Jabra 75T (by a good margin), AirPods, and AirPods Pro’s. Putting a number to it, an 8/10. I find the highs, mids, and lows to be right where they should be without one overbearing the other. But do have a slight lean to the bass without causing muddiness or congestion. They have great imaging where I can easily separate different instruments, vocals, and other nuanced sounds. When you are first setting them up in the Jabra+ software it will do a hearing test and then automatically adjust to the “best” settings for you which I think makes a big difference. You also have an EQ that you can adjust if you so wish. But I’ve found that they come in a lot louder than my other buds with the minimum sound being around 60 dB. I’m not sure if that is from the auto EQ or not. But you can easily go into the unhealthy range of volume if you have them set to >50% (measured on my iPhone 12 Pro through the “hearing app”). Which could also be inaccurate. I did not notice any difference with audio quality when ANC was on/off or with Hear Through on/off. Another negative is that these have HORRIFIC latency. The worst I’ve seen in a high-end product for a long time. To the point watching any type of media is unbearable as the lip sync is way off. It also eliminates them from gaming (which I never recommend anyways). This MAY be fixed/improved through firmware. ANC and Hear Through: These have fantastic Passive Noise Isolation (PNI). So, good that I thought I had ANC on but didn’t. But the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is only meh. As the difference of when it is on compared to off is minimal and highly situational. Where sometimes (if the noises or more low) it makes a big difference, but if more kids/highs not so much. To put numbers to the words I’d give the PNI a 7/10 and the ANC a 5/10. The ANC does go through a setup process to try and make it better, which works but for me was minimal. This MAY be improved in a future firmware update. The ANC and Hear Through is better on my Jabra 75T and much better on my Apple AirPods Pros. Hear Through on these is average as well. I’m not a fan because I’ve been spoiled by the AirPods Pros. Even with Hear Through on things are muffled and quiet. You can hear conversations, but they aren’t super clear. Directional audio quality isn’t bad. But things come across as tinny. I also noticed some occasional static and disconnect when on this mode when certain sounds occurred. MULTIPOINT: As of writing this review, they have not added it. Supposedly it is coming in a future update. Personally, I rate products on what they have now over what may be coming. If the earbuds are powered on and connected to a device already, you need to disconnect them from that device, then by holding both earbuds buttons down it will go into pairing mode almost immediately (seriously it’s fast), and then you can connect to a new device. It is cumbersome. I don’t like it. VOICE/CALL: I did a comparison between a few different wireless earbuds and the quality of your voice comes out on top by a noticeable margin. At times they can sound fantastic and then others not so much. It was really inconsistent. What I did like is that my voice (when it was working right) sounded really good and very accurate and even had some low end. However, they pick up background noise like a boss. Where if you are typing or working or something similar it will get picked up as well which can distract whoever you are talking too. So, I’m on the fence. Again this may be fixed with firmware. FIRMWARE: The firmware for these is not where it needs to be. I think hardware wise these are fantastic, and I’d even argue are some of THE BEST you can find on the market. As they do so many things right with the small case, size of buds, microphones, battery life, drivers, etc. However, with the firmware being buggy the hardware isn’t operating like it should and leaves you with a subpar performance. Some other firmware issues I experienced. Was when using Siri (by pressing the left bud twice) it would activate her, then the earbuds would automatically switch to Hear Through. But the Hear Through isn’t working correctly and is only about 50% there. There was also an instance where the voice activation became completely unresponsive and the Hear Through wasn’t activating. There was a time where I tried to have the ability to select off, ANC, and Hear Through, and I could only get ANC and Off without any ANC. It wasn’t until I went inside the settings and reset them that it worked again. Since that time I haven’t had any issues. Others have mentioned the two buds disconnecting from each other. I haven’t noticed this issue at all. When I pull them out of the case they almost immediately connect to my device. I’ve also been able to use just one earbud without any problems and if I pull out the other it immediately connects and syncs up. I was also able to put one back in the case without any issues and then pull it back out and have it sync back up again without any problems. CONCLUSION: Currently there are a lot of things they are getting right and a lot of things they are getting wrong. If they fix the firmware these will be fire. I can’t recommend a product on what COULD be, so I’d pass at this time. But if you are seeing reviews where they have added multipoint and other firmware issues are resolved I’d jump on them. As the hardware is exactly where it should be and is held back severely by incomplete firmware. As is I am giving them three stars (simply due to the firmware makes them average) but if they got the firmware where the 75T’s are then I’d charge it to a 5/5 and would place them in the #2 spot of the best earbuds on the market overtaking the Jabra 75T. Which is really a shame. As they have so much potential.

Hello SirGalahad- Thank you for writing a review for the newly released Jabra Elite 7 Pro. We regret to read that you are not completely satisfied with the call quality, but it is nice to learn that you are enjoying the audio quality. The challenges you have described in your review regarding background noise during calls are not expected. We hope you will contact the Jabra Support Team: https://bit.ly/3BNXN1f. We want to provide you with the best assistance. Our intention is still to add Multipoint to the 7-series. We are working to bring this feature into this more sleek and advanced form factor, and for this reason, we experience some delays. We plan to bring this update to the market very soon. Regarding the Left multi-function button, you must set up and personalize Active Noise Cancellation in Jabra Sound+ before you can activate it from your headset.
When you are on a call, the following conditions apply.
      1. ANC will stay on during a call.
      2. HearThrough will turn off during a call, and then resume when the call is finished.
      3. You can change the ANC and HearThrough settings in the Jabra Sound+ app.
In Sound modes, you can choose the modes you want to cycle between when you press the Left button on your headset:
      1. HearThrough & ANC
      2. HearThrough & Off
      3. HearThrough, ANC & Off
Regardless, your feedback is truly valuable to us, and we have passed this information along to the Product Development Team. Thanks again for writing a review. Jabra

The Jabra Elite 7 Pro are a quality set of earbuds, but for the premium price - they have surprisingly weak Active Noise Cancellation. Most of the noise isolation actually comes from the seal created by the rubber tips. The level of ANC is adjustable within the Jabra Mobile App, but any setting less than Maximum simply isn’t worth using. Also disappointing is the design which feels generic and uninspired. There is no special shape or ergonomic design - instead Jabra has gone with the generic jellybean shape that relies solely on the rubber tip to generate enough pressure to stay in place. Luckily, the single button on each earbud is easy to activate with a light touch that doesn’t push the earbuds uncomfortably into the ear canal. Controls are much easier to use than most other earbuds I have tested. Call quality is better than average, although the ANC functionality doesn’t appear to successfully eliminate much background noise for the caller. The best feature, in my opinion, is the Hearthrough feature. When activated, it uses the microphones to enhance the sound coming from the environment. I am able to quickly activate the feature with a single button press and then have an effortless conversation without removing either earbud. Hearthrough is much more helpful than I ever expected and allows the earbuds to be used in any environment. When taking my dog on walks, or when riding my bike I have been using bone-conduction earphones so that I can still be aware of my surroundings, but this audio passthrough feature works even better as I can adjust the volume to have improved hearing when needed - improving safety and convenience. Battery life is quite good, but without the Mobile App the headphones only toggle between ANC and Hearthrough - both which use extra power. Battery life could be improved further if only ANC was easier to turn off with the buttons on the earbuds. And because ANC isn’t very impressive, it doesn’t need to be used often. I appreciate that the case charges with USB-C, but for the price - the case should have the ability to charge wirelessly. The case can also be difficult to open as it is perfectly smooth with no grove or texture along the seam where it opens. My final disappointment is that the Elite 7 Pro is only able to connect to a single Bluetooth device at a time. The ability to connect to my laptop and my phone at the same time would be incredibly convenient and would have increased their usage (and their rating). If the Elite 7 Pro was less expensive, I would have ranked it 4 stars - as they truly are good earbuds with balanced audio. But, at such a premium price point, they do little to stand out from the myriad of other Bluetooth earbuds. At this price, they should really feature wireless charging, be able to connect to multiple sources simultaneously, and have more polished and effective ANC.

Hello TheDuke- We appreciate your detailed review of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, and we are thrilled to hear you particularly enjoy the device's call audio quality, battery life, and USB-C charging case, which does support wireless charging. We are sorry that you are less satisfied with the device's ANC, fit, and connectivity. We've designed the Elite 7 Pro with a so-called "closed design," which is a critical enabler in making the Elite 7 Pro our most discrete and comfortable earbuds yet – key purchase criteria among our users. Due to the closed design and excellent sealing of the Elite 7 Pro, however, the passive noise cancellation (PNC) is very high, making the perceived difference between turning ANC on and less obvious, especially for some users depends on the individual ear canal acoustics. However, when it comes to total noise cancelation (ANC + PNC), we are confident that the 7 Series will delight users and meet their needs for blocking out their surroundings on the go. We completely re-engineered the Jabra Elite 7 Pro's in-ear fit design and added frequency-dependent pressure relief vents for maximum comfort. We've also engineered a pioneering new EarGel™ design, varying the thickness of the outer gel for each size and crafting a more tapered, rounded tip, allowing us to deliver a fit that's anatomically optimized to fit your ear perfectly. In addition to the new fit design, we made the Jabra Elite 7 Pro 16% smaller than our Jabra Elite 75t, offering even more comfort when wearing the device for an extended time. Lastly, we plan to implement Multipoint connectivity to the Jabra Elite 7 Pro through a firmware update in early 2022. Our goal was to release this functionality when we first released the Elite 7 Pro, but we needed a bit more time to perfect the technology. We hope all this has convinced you to give the Jabra Elite 7 Pro another try. Feel free to contact us directly if there is anything else you want to discuss: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-pro/100-99172701-98/contact-support. Jabra

A Good Product That Needs a Big Update

Sound: The sound for these is slightly above average. Slightly less full than the Samsung Buds Pro's or the Elite 75t's but luckily the app gives you a full EQ which helps allow you give the buds your preferred sound signature. Call Quality: Is good but not as good as the marketing pretends it is. My voice sounds good to the other person, they are very quiet unless I max out the volume which then creates horrible distortion. Also with the seal on these I get an earplug vibration from my voice which is very annoying. the other person also complained that they could hear wind noise even their it was a slight breeze and could easily hear the world around me, ironically better than me despite having hear through maxed out. My Samsung Buds Pro are significantly better. ANC/Hear Through: The ANC is quite good and much better than my Samsung Buds Pro's but I think this is due to the seal being better for me with the Jabra's. The hear through is good and sounds around you sound natural and clear but for me do not remove the earplug effect that makes my own voice vibrate in my head. Fit: These are for me the second best fitting earbuds behind the Samsung Buds Plus, super small and do not move in my ear nor do they push against the sides of my ear. I can wear them all day at work with little to no discomfort. I love small ears and struggle to find comfortable earbuds and for me these are perfect. Buttons: The buttons are really good, it gives a satisfying click that does not require too much pressure but isnt soft enough that accidental presses happen. The buttons are very customizable which for some reason is rare with most earbuds. Connection: This is ultimately my biggest problem with these earbuds. They are horrible with connect, huge lag time when watching videos, one earbud will randomly disconnect especially when you are turning on ANC or hear through and if that happens the earbuds will not sort out the issue on their own. You will have to put them back in the case and wait a few seconds and hope they reconnect but in most cases you will need to reset the earbuds. Very often I use one earbud at work which is nice that either earbud works on its own but what is annoying is the other earbud that has been in the case will not immediately connect if you try to then use it, you will have to take it out and then put it back in the case a few times in order for it to connect. These issues should not exist and I will not wait to find out if they can fix these problems in a timely manner. Charging case: This is my other issue with these earbuds. I hate the charging case, for some reason they thought it would be a good idea to put the charging port on the front which just looks dumb and they made the opening of both halves completely flush so you cannot easily open the case, I found myself having to push with an uncomfortable amount of pressure to open the case since there is no lip to help open the case, so I would imagine many people in the next year or so will end up breaking their case lip. Conclusion: For every step forward Jabra took with these with the independent earbuds, smaller buds, improved ANC and calls, they took two steps back with the removal of multi pairing (which supposedly will come in an update), the horrible connect issues and the dumbest case design on any earbuds. I would honestly just recommend getting the 75t's as they sound better, have multi point connect, have a better case and sound similar enough for phone calls. Very disappointed in these.

As long as you're not going to use them to talk to anyone at all and ever, these are okay earbuds. They fit well and their sound is good. I used them a lot and even bought my wife a pair. So, they also have *constant* problems. One of my pairs routinely refused to charge in the case no matter water. I reset them over and over and it would remain broken. More importantly, as I was using these for work so I could talk with folks without holding my phone, these worked for like...a month, before the mice never worked again. Absolute trash is an understatement. Do NOT buy these for talking on the phone. These experiences were over ~1.5 years of owning the Elite 7 Pro, though. A truly long term review, but YMMV.

Overall, these earbuds are exceptional. The audio quality is great, anc is good, battery life is fantastic and they are super comfortable. Coming from the elite active 65t's, these are a big improvement. However, they suffer from terrible audio latency. When watching videos, the sound is about a second or 2 later then when the persons mouth is moving. Hoping I just had a defective product, I returned it and got another pair. Sadly, this one had the same issue. For a nearly 200$ pair of earbuds, you think that something such as audio latency would not be an issue. I really wanted to love these, but the latency makes it unbearable when watching content. If audio latency is not an issue, then I highly recommend going with this product, if it is, then I would recommend going with the 75t's or 85t's.

Not sure on this…. Got these to replace my 2nd pair of Elite Active 75t that seemed to stop working in left ear… these seem to have connectivity issues on several occasions with left ear bud having no sound. App says an update is available, but will not update (Galaxy S20 FE 5G). For whatever reason, placing the buds in the case and charging the case to 100% seems to solve it, mind you, the buds are probably at 70% battery life… smh

Honestly, i could take or leave them. Music wise they are great. The highs arw high and lows are low. The bass pops when it hits. The downfall is call quality. Some people can hear and some cannot. I lose calls at times for no apparent reason. I got them on sale so I wasn't to thrown off. If I had paid full price they would have been taken back. I would recommend if you find them for a great price.

My goal was to find a pair of earbuds that I can take calls on inside and outside and not have background noise interfering with how I sound to the person on the other end. My current 65t's are clear when the surrounding is quiet, but the mic sounds like you are on speakerphone and any other noise is picked up during your call. Tested on firmware 2.2 Audio quality was good, better than my Jabra 65t's. Music sounded full and neutral. The person on the other end of a test call sounded clear as well. Mic/Call quality on the other hand makes your voice sound like you're talking through a blanket. The person on the other end can hear you relatively clearly, but you sound slightly muffled and distant to them. This was also the case when I tested using the recording app on my Pixel 6 Pro and played it back. Very strange that the mic quality is so poor compared to a much older and cheaper set from the same manufacturer. It seems like the software isn't tuned correctly to blend the two different types of mics used. Changing sidetone, ANC, or hear through didn't have any affect the mics ability to properly transmit your voice. The reviews of these from professional sites must have been using an early firmware version that could have changed the mics recording quality. One star off for the mic. One star off because the first pair that I exchanged had a dead left bud, no power led, not able to be reset. I wouldn't buy these if you need to use the mic.

I did quite a bit of research before buying. Personally I did not care about ANC initially. Although I learned that ANC plays into noise cancellation during calls. Elite 7 Pro has excellent ANC in an insanely loud manufacturing/factory environment with ANC enabled I could hardly could hear the environment-granted the buds held their seal to the ear canal-. I’m a forklift operator and constantly on the move indoors and outdoors on my lift it is a very bumpy ridet which puts the fit to the ultimate test. The buds fit were not even close to the fit of the cheap Elite 3 Pros. I found myself constantly adjusting them in ear. The call quality in a factory environment was hit or miss. Bosses could hear me although they often said my voice was “quiet”. In call sound and music is very very quiet elite 3 pro were even louder. Thankfully I bought these on sale ($119) had i paid full $199 I’d have been even more upset. In the end they are good i do recommend them but i do not recommend buying them brand new. Used or refurbished on Amazon I’d absolutely recommend

Sound is amazing as well as the adjustable ANC! The quality of the calls is awful though. Slight wind, driving, or around traffic the person wont be able to hear you. On a personal note they made my ears bleed (both) from the fit when i wore them for more than a couple hours.

I have owned every iteration of Jabra buds since the Elite 65t was released. My favorite is the 75t Active. They fit well, sound great, and are small. My gripe with the 85s is the change in shape (they don't stay in the ear as well), and the battery life is worse. So I had high hopes for the Elite 7 Pros. While they fit well, sound well, they have one glaring issue - you can only connect them to ONE device at a time. The 65t, 75t, 85t all support TWO devices, but not this one. I use this for phone calls and for Team/Zoom meetings. Now I'll have to actually pick up my phone because I can only pair these to my PC or my phone. Disappointing.

They sound good, but for the price range they are I'd avoid them. They give me more issues than any other earbuds I've used. In simple terms .. lag/latency.. words dont match mouths.. in complex words, the codec they use is not a very fast codec causing sound to be heard late when watching TV/Movies/Videos... Its horrible for gaming especially. I've tried then in my computer, android phone, Nintendo Switch & iPhone. They are only good for music.

Hello ChinchillaByte- We appreciate your review of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. Although we are glad you enjoy the audio quality of the Jabra Elite 7 Pro Earbuds, we regret that you experienced a lag between your video and its audio. When we designed the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, we optimized the device for listening to music and taking phone calls on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. While a slight lag is expected due to the nature of Bluetooth functionality, we do not expect it to impact your user experience. Kindly contact our Support Team at your earliest convenience for help: https://www.jabra.com/supportpages/jabra-elite-7-pro/100-99172701-98/contact-support. We are here to help you. Jabra

This earbud was very good, especially in noise cancellation. However, after using them daily, they started to have problems with charging. They ask for a charge every few hours, even when I haven't used them much.

I ordered this because it claimed to have better noise cancellation on the mic to allow people to hear me better on calls, but I sounded robotic and indecipherable in even the mildest wind. I’m a tough critic, but expected more.

The Bluetooth delay is awful, and the active noise cancelling is not strong at all, even when set to high on the app. That being said, they're comfortable, and the ability to use either earbud is fantastic. Not worth $200, but they're not terrible.

I really like these but i have 3 complaints, 1 ANC needs to be a little better, 2 earbuds do not stay charging in the charge case unless sitting flat, I can't just put them in my pocket they seem to disconnect from charging and connect to my phone, 3 hear through needs to be a better
