It's great for walking and not getting hit by cars, or hanging with a friend/family member and stl being able to hear them while listening to music. Then when they annoy you too much tell them "what? I can't hear you" and immediately turn on the noise canceling.

When I needed to focus and block out background noises while working, it did its noise cancelling magic. However, recently I lost one of the earbuds and I was in need for a replacement. So I got online, looking and hoping to find something with the same features but better. I wanted to try other brands too. Incidentally, I found the Jabra, specifically this one here. So I thought to myself, "Given its steep price and being over $50 more than what I spent on the Sony, it should deliver similar performance and possibly more". Boy was I disappointed! It functions basically as a regular convenience store headphone.
