Amazing Audio and Battery Life

The Jabra Enhanced Select 700 are by far the best hearing aids I have used to date. They are sleek, comfortable, and sport the best battery life I have experienced with hearing aids to date. The software makes them not only easy to control but adaptable for many situations. They haven't been a trouble free solution though as there are some quips with use such as bluetooth connectivity issues and a mic that is subpar.
Pros
- Great sound quality
- Adaptive noise levels
- Battery Life
- Software
Cons
- Muffled Mic
- Connectivity
For build quality, these things are great. Seeing these things and then experiencing the audio quality that you get from them actually makes you marvel at where we have come in technology. With how small these are its baffling how great these sound for how small they are. They even pack some bass which I didn't think we going to be possible. The charging case feels premium and holds enough additional charge to keep you going for days beyond a single charge.
Sound quality is great as well. It has adjustable presets in the software so you can tune it to your preference. They can get very loud so tailor to your hearing comfort. At both how and low volumes I noticed no distortion in volume. As stated above they also pack a decent amount of bass which is surprising given their size.
The software is really good on the mobile side. My favorite feature is the ability to set an upper limit to volume of the environment around me. I spend a good bit of my day in a loud environment so being able to tune down the sounds around me is great. Like other hearing aids with bluetooth, these also double as ear pods that you can listen to your music or listen to other audio through which is a plus.
Battery life is very good. I get about a day and a half to two days use out of a single charge, with the carrying case providing additional days of life. I went on a 5 day trip recently and a single charge with the case kept me going the entire time.
There are a few drawbacks. My set have a very bad mic. According to others I sound extremely muffled in conversations when using bluetooth. Almost to the point of being unusable. Additionally, when connecting for a call there has been connectivity issues with the hearing aids not working when I answer Finally, when playing through Bluetooth, one side will connect before the other so you have a second or two of audio only playing in one ear. The last two things can hopefully be patched in an update.

I am at the stage where I notice my hearing isn't what it use to be. Getting older and, probably years of not protecting my hearing is now creating hearing loss. I reallized this when my wife would have to constantly remind me to lower my voice when speaking. I would get loud even with just she and I in the car. At first I thought maybe some earbuds with amplified hearing would help, but first they aren't that good and second, it was very uncomfortable to wear for long durations.
Some of the other "hearing aids" I've tried where glorified earbuds imo. The first thing I noticed with the Select 700 is how big the case is. Made me a little hesitant right off the bat. This is not a case that will fit in your jean pocket comfortable, actually in any pant pocket. It's almost the size of a pack of cigarettes and quite weighty. Keep this in mind. But the hearing aid themselves are so small and lightweight. I'm assuming that the case must be doing something else besides charging the hearing aid. Jabra says the hearing aid holds a whole day of use and 3 extra charges and since the hearing aid is so small, I wonder why the case is so big. As for use, I don't use it 24 hrs a day so I can't tell you how long it will go without charging. Also, inside the box is an activation code with a qr to scan. You must do this to use the app. I didn't know this and couldn't get the hearing aid to work at first because I could not log on to the app. Once you do though, then you can see the service that Jabra provides for these earbuds. I got a call from one of their reps to see if I needed help and they will set up a video orientation and a hearing test for you to get the most out of your hearing aid. Wow, made me understand why this cost this much. Also, inside the box was a bunch of ear tips in all sorts of confirguration, so you can find the perfect one. Cleaning accessories as well. The hearing aid itself was so small and light that when I did put them on, in a minute, I forgot I even had them on. The sound itself is amazing, although for music, don't expect audiophile quality. And for call quality, it was good as expected. I have to say, I didn't know how greatly a good pair of hearing aid would help me with my day to day life. The app and the 3 year support from Jabra will make this worth the expense of these hearing aids.

After working decades in an industry where loud noises are commonplace along with aging, I finally succumbed to the fact that hearing loss is now, unfortunately, part of my everyday life. I can no longer hear as good as I used to, especially when surrounding noises drown out conversations and the excuse to my wife of selective listening is actually a result of actual hearing loss. Fortunately, technology has come so far in the past several years, especially when it comes to discreet and high performing hearing aids that you can purchase over the counter versus paying much more to go through a doctor or specialist for hearing aids that can be much more expensive. After doing a little research, I came across a brand that I was already familiar with, Jabra, who specializes in audio devices and whose products I have used and trusted for decades with their headphones and earbuds. They recently developed and released their latest generation Enhance Select 700 model over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids that claim to have some of the latest built-in technology specifically built for someone in my situation. They are considered Jabra’s flagship model of OTC hearing aids and are beautifully designed and packed with the latest technology and features.
After wearing the hearing aids for a few days, I honestly feel as if I have super human hearing when I’m wearing them. This, in part, is a result of their next-generation SoundScape™ technology with Auto Focus. This sophisticated system is engineered to deliver exceptional speech clarity, dynamically prioritizing human voices while simultaneously reducing distracting background noise. The Auto Focus feature automatically adapts the microphone directionality in real-time. Whether you are navigating a bustling restaurant or engaged in a lively group discussion, the hearing aids intelligently lock onto the strongest voice, ensuring conversations are effortless and natural. This technology represents a significant leap forward in OTC hearing aids, offering the kind of performance previously reserved for high-end prescription devices. The result is a more immersive sound experience and improved spatial awareness where you feel more aware of your surroundings and not isolated. The sound difference does take a little while to get used to since you’re hearing things you haven’t heard in awhile and you’re able to adjust the volume and certain other features through the Jabra smart phone app.
Some of the best features of the Select 700s are not only comfort and convenience of having high performing hearing aids you can use and take anywhere but also how discreet they are when you are wearing them. The micro receiver-in-ear (REI) is Jabra and the world’s smallest receiver, is incredibly light and discreet built for comfortable all-day wear. Their durability is also great, consistent with Jabra’s other audio products, and features an IP68 rating that provides robust protection against dust, sweat, rain, and water—a crucial factor for every user. They come with a plethora of cleaning and fitting tools including a variety of dome shape earbuds used to seal them securely in your ear and ensure the proper fit for anyone.
In terms of power, the Select 700 can deliver over 24 hours of listening time on just a 3-hour charge. The included portable charging case’s size is convenient enough to stash away in your pocket or purse and can charge the hearing aids three times before needing to be charged providing up to 96 hours of additional power on the go. Furthermore, the device is future-ready, featuring advanced Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™ for high-quality audio streaming.
Another incentive for investing in the Select 700s is the inclusion of three years of comprehensive virtual audiology services. Unlike many self-fit devices, this package connects you with a licensed hearing specialist who can remotely review your hearing test and send professional, customized adjustments directly to your hearing aids via the mobile app. This blend of OTC pricing and prescription-level remote care significantly boosts user confidence and ensures optimal performance over time.
The Jabra Enhance Select 700 is arguably one of the best OTC hearing aids on the market for users with mild-to-moderate hearing loss, especially those who prioritize performance in noisy environments and the price point reflects this. However, since it is for one of your main senses, it should be a priority and well worth the investment considering the technology built into them and how well they perform. They also have a 100-day risk-free trial, three year warranty and comes with US-based remote support.

After years of blasting music, often through headphones, I've noticed a subtle decline in my hearing now that I'm over 40. One of my close friends is an audiologist, and over the years, he's encouraged me to come in for a hearing test. However, I keep putting it off because it all feels pretty overwhelming. On top of that, dealing with insurance is never a walk in the park. That's where these over-the-counter hearing aids come in, offering a modern solution.
Whatever you think you know about hearing aids may not align with these modern devices. Jabra claims their hearing aid offers a full day of use and three additional charges, which sounds promising. While I wouldn't use these every day, I appreciate having them for situations where I want more control over the volume, such as in a theater.
Inside the box, there's an activation code along with a convenient QR code for the accompanying app. This was essential for setting up the hearing aids. There is a variety of ear tips in different configurations, enabling us to find the perfect fit for comfort and seal. Additionally, essential cleaning accessories were included, which I found to be a nice extra.
Regarding sound quality, I found it impressive. Call quality is incredibly clear. Listening to the TV has been a game-changer because it can hook up to a Bluetooth-enabled device just like earbuds would. No more keeping my wife awake at night.
Regardless of the sound, if they aren't comfortable, then who cares, right? Comfort is crucial. These aids are incredibly lightweight and minimal. They will not feel like earbuds or anything you've tried before, if it's been years since you've been exposed to hearing aids. These are more minimal and less detectable than I ever thought hearing aids could be.
They aren't cheap, though. At just under $2,000, you'd expect a high-quality product, and these are. I'm not sure precisely what 2K hearing aids usually get you, but according to my audiologist friend, these have all the latest tech that people want when looking into hearing aids.

Placing in the ear.
Properly placing in the ear at first feels simple, however for the optimal mode, it took me couple of time and follow the steps from the guide several times. Its tiny form makes easy to get incorrectly as couldn’t see myself. With mirror and under watch of my wife I was able do in right way as the receiver cable would go almost around top side of the ear.
Now, each side are identifiyable by color code placed in each side. Red/Blue to indicate right side and left side respectively.
Then, if one is not used to or first time users, need to get used to how to remove as well.
Pairing with the App.
To use properly it requires Jabra Enhance App, which is required to pair with the phone to start with, then as complete the pairing, it allow to personalize different modes of sound. Depending selection between All Around, Restaurant, Music, Outdoor, the sound would adjust respectively while being able to change each mode to different grade of sound within selected modes.
As side note, during the pairing process, experienced pairing issue and display of the setup. This happened only once and right after pair completion.
Using it
After having completed the personalization and properly placed in the ear, the sound was amplified but more would say enhanced as part of its name suggests. Can hear the tiny sound happening in the surround , low tone voices, even self walking steps that didn’t notice before the ear aid.
For the phone calls, I can accept the call by doing tap on the back of the device, and have clear conversation without the ask from the caller “can you repeat” during 10 min conversation. It was quite alike natural talk. Of course this is after spending time and having played around with the different customization and changing the equalizer.
On the note on comfort and look and feel once it is in the ear, at the very first time felt a bit odd while it felt very light and as if had nothing but still as if there is something behind the ear. But as having it for full day, the sense fades, feeling more natural without discomfort. Can get used to easily.
What I wish it were better:
1. Status of battery case charging: the case has in the rear and above the usb c charging port three dot lights. However, this is only become available when plug or unplug charging cable. I wish I could see it from the case itself when I open it. Otherwise, I have to plug or open the application to know what is the status.
2. Find it: the app doesn’t have option for Find it for case of not being able to find. Use case would like like taking off for shower then forgot where left.
3. Support for smart watch. Due to its dependency on the application to change the modes, for each situation have to take out the phone, then open the app, find the right option and change. For this process, in certain context it would be a bit odd or non practical, like being among crowded places. On the other hand, the device doesn’t detect changes of context automatically. As result, having a support from smart watch would make more practical and ease to adjust it on the move.
4. Charging Case:
4.1. It is not wireless charging case.
4.2. Size is large, 3.9 inches (length) x 1.4 inch (width) x 2.7 inch (height)
Wishing the context of the battery of the device last almost 24 hours, carrying and practicality of charing it on the move most probably would be low usage use case. However, for the use case of user that travel frequently or doesn’t a settled way of charging, the size and non wireless charging case makes a bit of non practical to carry around.
Finishing the review, Jabra Enhance Select 700 deliver noticeable changes on the hearing experience while it look very discrete in the physical look. It is in little details of setting and placing and removing from the ear mostly present some non practical process, but easy to get used to for users familiar using devices and applications Otherwise, require some level of assistance at first with the audiology service to find the setting most close hearing needed, then time to time might need somebody physically for placing or removing it in the ear and using the app. And for cases of users with big hand might encounter difficulties placing in the ear and using the app although this last one could be universal case.
But iat then end, t does what meant to help, enhanced hearing experience.

Jabra Enhance Select 700 - Life Changing!

The Jabra Enhance Select 700 OTC hearing aids have been absolutely life changing for me. They are very small, indeed Jabra claims they are "The world’s smallest rechargeable receiver-in-ear hearing aids". These sit so comfortably behind my ears that I truly forget they are there. I have very short hair around my ears, yet they are still virtually unnoticeable, except for the small wire attached to the tiny in ear receiver leading into my ear canal. There is a 3 year warranty on parts & labor, 3 years of loss & damage protection and Jabra states the "expected service lifetime" of these hearing aids is 5 years.
Setup was very easy. A 3 hour charge of the portable charging case will charge the hearing aids for about 24 hours or 3 days of use. For me, they connected immediately upon removal from the case. To fully set them up and also be able to fine-tune settings and make any other adjustments, you will need to download the Jabra Enhance Select app. It is there that you are able to create specific profiles for different situations. Jabra has pre-defined these as All-around, music, restaurants and outdoors. I haven't found where I can change the names of the modes, but I am able to use their pre-sets or fine-tune them directly. That setting is one of the most critical for me to hear clearly by adjusting background noise or focusing on voices in front of me.
After the initial setup, Jabra requests that you take their hearing test which is done wearing headphones and identifying beep sounds. I hear better in 1 ear than the other and the test confirmed that. Based on that test, Jabra automatically made adjustments which were sent to me via the app and I then easily applied those to my hearing aids. If you need further help, you can contact them via Zoom. I am now able to wear my hearing aids without issue and I am hearing so much better! I can hear the people at my table at a restaurant instead of being over-powered by all the noise around us; I can hear and understand the TV and don’t have to constantly ask ‘what did they say?’; and though I still find myself doing it occasionally, I am trying to read lips far less often. I can listen to music via bluetooth from my iPhone, though admittedly, the sound isn't great for music. I can even answer my iPhone directly by double tapping the top of my ear. I can hear phone calls quite clearly though the person on the other end tells me "it is noisy" for them.
Jabra has thought of everything to make life with hearing aids easier and to that end, everything I need comes with these including tons of extra domes - open domes in small, med & large, closed domes in small med & large and one size of tulip domes. I didn't count, but there seems to be about 10pr of each type/size. They have also included cleaning supplies, sport locks to help keep the hearing aids secure if needed while doing strenuous exercise, an extensive user guide and their outstanding customer service.
For me, these Jabra Enhance Select 700 OTC hearing aids are a life-changer. To be able to hear clearly is incredible and something I never thought possible. They are so small and comfortable to wear and they come with everything I need to keep and maintain them. To know that the Jabra customer service team is there for any needed support for free for a lifetime is so comforting. I could not have made a better choice for an OTC hearing aid, I am sure of it! I would highly recommend these hearing aids to anyone: friends, family, acquaintances - anyone in need of hearing assistance. Note: These are recommended only for those with mild to moderate hearing impairment.

A New Kind of Hearing Aid—One You’ll Actually Want to Wear
More and more people suffer from hearing loss as our environment is getting worse with noise pollution. And let’s face it: traditional hearing aids haven’t exactly been known for style or comfort. But the Jabra Enhance Select 700 flips that script. These sleek, nearly invisible devices aren’t just about hearing better—they’re about living better. Whether you're catching up with friends at a noisy café or enjoying a quiet evening at home, they adapt to your world and help you stay connected to it. It will also make your life much safer, as you'll be able to hear warnings or important information from a longer distance.
Designed to Disappear—In the Best Way Possible
If you’ve ever hesitated to wear a hearing aid because of how it looks or feels, this might be the one that changes your mind. The Enhance Select 700 is featherlight and thoughtfully designed to blend in, not stand out. You’ll forget you’re wearing them—and so will everyone else. And with the help of the Jabra team, you always have someone to talk to if you need help with functionality or working to fine tune the settings to get the best results. That's some solid customer support!
Sound That Feels Natural—Not Artificial
What really sets these apart is the sound quality. Thanks to a powerful new chip and smart algorithms, you get 360-degree sound that feels immersive and real. Voices are clearer, background noise fades away, and the Auto Focus feature adjusts on the fly depending on where you are. It’s like having a personal sound engineer in your ear. As tested on someone with only 20% in one ear and less than 60% in the other, there was a clear improvement. Actually, it was almost perfect. Much better than cheap OTC hearing aids that are usually clunky and make it sound like you're suffering from tinnitus. In that aspect, the Jabra Enhance are lightyears ahead of the competition.
Total Control, Right From Your Phone
The companion app is a standout. You can tweak volume, adjust noise filtering, and personalize your settings with just a few taps. Bluetooth streaming means you can take calls, listen to music, or watch videos directly through your hearing aids. And with the double-tap feature, answering calls is as easy as a quick tap—no more fumbling for your phone. It also allows to quickly adjust the sound when your environment changes.
Built for Real Life
The charging case holds up to three full charges, so you’re covered for days. And the included cleaning kit makes maintenance simple. Yes, they’re an investment—but when you consider the tech, the comfort, and the control, it’s one that pays off every time you hear something clearly that you might’ve missed before.
Final Thoughts
The Jabra Enhance Select 700 isn’t just a hearing aid—it’s a smart, stylish, and surprisingly intuitive piece of tech that helps you stay engaged with the world around you. If you’ve been waiting for a hearing solution that feels less like a medical device and more like a personal upgrade, this might be it. There isn't anything bad to say about this product, maybe aside from the price which is steep, but justified by the excellence you get from these hearing aids. I can only highly recommend the Jabra Enhance Select 700 to everyone suffering from hearing loss or impairment.

I am so excited to have an updated set of Jabra Select Hearing Aids!!! Previously I had the 300 and they worked very well. I will say that these hearing aids are just fantastic. If you have worn behing the earhearing aids before, you should be able to get these adjusted quickly. If you are new to behind the ear hearing aids (or if these are your first pair), keep all of the instructions handy as you work, step-by-step, through the setup process.
So, what's in the box? The main event is the pair of lightweight hearing aids. Blue is left and red is right. The charging case is great because it is quite small and stores a charge, so you can easily top up your energy on the aids if need be. The charge last longer than I am usually awake in the day, but it's nice to have the option.
In the lid of the box are some numbered cards and a very nice product manual. In the bottom of the box are all of the cleaning and adjusting tools you will need, from wax guard, mic guards, Sport locks (for keeping them in your ear), and different dome sizes and shapes. We all have different sized ears and needs, so do not hesitate to try different domes.
The first thing you will need to do is take a hearing test online, with headphones on. This helps identify which parts of the ranges you are missing. This is really important for finding the right enhancements. Next, follow the cards in order and be patient. It takes some time for things to recognize that the hearing aids are there.
Once you have your hearing aids ready, be sure to download the phone app (iOS or Google) in order to maximize your sound clarity! I really like having the hearing aids connected to my phone as I can hear it ring, text tone and play videos, no matter the venue (outside in the wind, at a busy restaurant, etc.). Speaking of venues, the Jabra Enhance app allows you to adjust on-the-go from All-Around, Dining, Music, and Outdoors and the app will adjust things to make it sound right!
Finally, the folks at Jabra are there to help. You can contact with questions, use the web to find answers, and get adjustments when you need them. Overall, I am very pleased with these hearing aids. Once set up, they are easy to use, very easy to charge and easy to keep clean. I would encourage you to improve your hearing today! It makes conversations so much more enjoyable!

I’ve had to deal with hearing loss for more than half of my life now. It’s gotten progressively worse over time and I’ve had to live without my high-end hearing for quite some time now. I have been fortunate enough to be able to use various hearing aids in the past few years. They have helped me enjoy everyday conversations and sounds like birds chirping that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to hear.
I have a set of prescription hearing aids that I’ve used for a few years, but I love that there is a line of OTC hearing aids available that are comparable to the ones you would get from an audiologist. The set I have are from Jabra’s parent company, GN Sound even though they are a different brand.
The big differences between my prescription-strength hearing aids and the OTC ones from Jabra are microphone placement and the fitting/setup. The prescription hearing aids I have feature mic in the ear canal for more natural sound cues whereas the Jabra OTC hearing aids have a standard receiver-in-canal. When it comes to the setup, the prescription hearing aids are custom fitted by an audiologist and the OTC ones are pre-programmed so they are faster out of the box. You do have the opportunity to fine-tune a lot of the settings on the Enhance 700 hearing aids through the app, but they just aren’t quite a good as the custom fitted ones.
Sound Quality: I would rate the sound quality as very good. Not quite a robust of an experience as my prescription hearing aids, but very close. I was able to hear my fiancé across the table from me at a restaurant much better than I would without any hearing aids.
Ease of Use: The hearing aids are easy to use. The first step is to make sure you are using the right domes and that the hearing aids fit properly. It’s very similar to fitting a set of earbuds. Connecting to your phone is quite easy as well. I am an iOS user so my experience is coming from that perspective. With iOS, you can only have one set of hearing aids connected at a time. So, when you connect via the Accessibility area in Settings, you will have to forget any other set that is already stored there (if you have one).
Fit & Feel: The Enhance 700 are comfortable. There is an adjustment period since they are designed to wear for many hours per day, but because they are so lightweight, you don’t notice them after a while.
Even though the cost is higher than some other OTC hearing aids, I believe they are a great option for people with more severe hearing loss.

First, understand that I have already tried a number of other OTC hearing aids…
First impression — you know how when you’re putting on your aids and you get that horrible, ear-piercing feedback whistle? To my surprise, I maybe get a tiny bit of feedback when initially putting the Jabra Enhance Select 700 aids in, but then that quickly goes away! They automatically adjust, even if you put your hand up to the aids for a minor adjustment. Since I’ve had these, the ONLY feedback I’ve experienced is in the morning when I first put them on…and very little.
Secondly, I love the app control. Within the main dashboard, you have the option of 4 different presets — ALL AROUND (which I use the most), RESTAURANT (for focusing on voices near you), MUSIC (for music listening…and TV for some), and OUTDOORS (to help with cutting down on wind noise). Within each of the “presets,” there is an equalizer that enables you to further tailor the aids to your personal preference and lock that in, if you so choose (or it can be a temporary thing). Any hearing aids take time to get used to, but others who have complained about harsh, tinny sound must not have delved into this aspect of the Jabra Enhance Select 700’s customization features. They are NOT harsh, tinny, or too loud — unless you set them that way!
BTW, if you happen to be away from your phone, no worries. The aids continue to work as last set AND you can adjust them manually with button commands (the button found on each unit). You just won’t have the “fine tuning” ability until you’re back on the app.
Thirdly, the storage/battery charging case is awesome! No more fumbling with wasteful hearing aid batteries. No more dead aids simply because you forgot the wall charger and cable. On a full charge, you’re good for 3 days. The only improvement I could think of were if the case was Qi compatible. Not a big deal. Have USB-C, will charge.
The Jabra Enhance Select 700s come with 3 years of audiology support. I recently completed an online audiology test after setting up my Jabra Enhance account, and now I’m waiting for my appt (tomorrow) with a certified audiologist. They have the ability to fine tune settings on the aids through the magic of WiFi/bluetooth. I believe these also come with 3 years of damage coverage…as well as continued support whenever it’s needed.
I tell ya, the Jabra Enhance Select 700 hearing aids are hard to beat. For me, these are keepers. Oh…the rest of your family will love not getting blasted by the TV volume being so loud.

The Jabra Enhance Select 700 hearing aids from Jabra are more than just hearing aids. Additionally, when you buy them, you are getting more than just the Jabra Enhance Select 700’s. The Jabra Enhance Select 700’s are not only hearing aids but Bluetooth earbuds that can be used for phone calls and for watching or listening to media on your Android or iPhone. They also have the new Auracast technology that lets you do things like connect and listen to TV’s in Dr.’s offices, Airports and other public places where you may want to connect to programming with your Select 700’s. The Enhance Select 700’s are very comfortable to wear and come with three different types of earbud tips so you can customize yours to your preference. I personally found that the regular type solid tips worked best if you listen to audio on the Enhance Select 700’s. Once you have picked your earbuds, it is a good idea to go in front of a mirror to fit the wires and tips into your ears. You are supposed to run them against your head and not let the wire stick out at all. If you do this people will likely not even notice you are wearing them. Once you have them fitted you will want to learn how to use the app and adjust the sound to your liking. The app is well thought out and very comprehensive. It has settings that allow you to quickly switch between different listening environments like Resteraunts and the Outdoors as well as music and an all Around setting that works well for a set it and forget it option. You can also further customize your hearing settings in the Sound Equalizer section of the app with a streaming focus setting as well as a hear all for listening and staying aware at the same time. Then you have a custom filter and can adjust Bass, Midrange and Treble but these are not going to sound as good as dedicated earbuds. The ability to make calls and listen to media is an added feature but not the focus of the Enhance 700’s. You can also adjust a slider for turning up your surroundings volume separate from your listening volume. I found it is very important to get the settings right or it makes me feel queasy. I would take it easy starting low and working your way up with the volumes. It can take a little time for you to adjust to the new hearing aids and the additional sounds your brain has to process. For me I found out that I had problems with hearing high frequencies in both ears and mild issues with mid-range in one ear. I found this out by taking the hearing test on the Jabra website. I would also suggest setting up an appointment with a Jabra Audiologist to fine-tune your hearing aids so that they are best suited for you as an individual. The support from Jabra comes with your purchase for three years so why not use it to get optimum performance for your purchase and maximum improvement in your life. These are high-quality hearing aids for less money than the traditional route of going to the Dr. to get them and tehy still have the support of a licensed Audiologist which is a Dr.

Verdict: The Jabra Enhance Select 700 Hearing Aids are as good as it gets for OTC hearing devices in performance, customization, support, and value. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with the end-to-end Jabra experience. Well done!
My hearing challenges. I have two issues with my hearing: (1) in my left ear, I mostly can’t hear at a certain frequency; and (2) I have substantial difficulties hearing / understanding with any background noise. This has created challenges at home and at work.
First impressions. The charging case is quite large! Perhaps this is normal for hearing aids? Not sure since these are my first ones. The overview cards, QR code, and videos on the Jabra site are great! I also appreciate the accessories and maintenance items that are included in the package.
Setup. Activation took about 1 minute. Download and setup of the app was easy, taking about 3 minutes. The app allows detailed on-the-fly customization of the hearing aids based on different situations. From the app you can also schedule your initial orientation with a specialist and receive professional remote customization of your hearing aids. The app is great actually, adding significant value to the overall experience.
Features. Soundscape with auto focus helps with speech clarity, and I believe has been the most beneficial feature for me. You can double tap the hearing aids to answer phone calls. All-day battery and about 2 recharges with the case. The device is all-weather proof, and includes sports fasteners so you can use it for many activities, including outdoors. They are very small and discreet.
Service. For three years (!!), Jabra provides access to licensed audiologist, remote customization and adjustments, and replacement of hearing aids, all supported virtually for maximum convenience and cost efficiency… Amazing!
Performance. After putting these on, I was shocked about how much I could hear around me. For example, during my first 10 minutes, I kept looking around and behind my chair for a weird noise. I couldn’t figure out what it was. Then, I saw the dog and it clicked… I could clearly hear him licking himself as if he was inches from my ear. Crazy! No more daily loud TV-watching or constant “what” when my wife is talking to me with background noise (TV, running water, etc). The Jabra 700 hearing aids have helped cut out the noise to help me hear what I need to hear. I am really excited!
Things I love:
- Excellent sound, and auto sound focus
- Great app!
- Small and discreet device
- Can be used in any weather
- Great sound and ability for dynamic adjustments automatically and manually
- Exceptional support and warranty for three years
- Tap control
Things I don’t love:
- While taking calls on Bluetooth works very well, the sound filter makes comprehension more difficult for me, especially when call quality goes down (not Jabra’s fault). I had more success putting the phone on speaker, adjusting the settings in the app, and listening with the Jabra 700.
Overall, the Jabra Enhance Select 700 are AMAZING! I highly recommend this device to anyone who is considering OTC hearing aids.

Whether you have an active lifestyle, are a socialite, or are simply sedentary and enjoying everyday life, these hearing aids are made for all occasions. From Bluetooth to the distinct modes they provide, they’re designed to go with you wherever you need to go, without being a hindrance or a liability.
The very first thing I noticed was the packaging. All materials are well planned and well thought out—from the audiologist descriptions to the warranty card to the quick start guide. Everything is clear, concise, well-designed, and easy to follow. Whether you’re younger or more mature, you can be up and running in no time with no confusion.
The fit is light and barely noticeable. After wearing them for a short time, I forgot they were even there, which is exactly what you want. They come with different cones to adjust to your ear size and hearing preference, along with a full guide on how to choose the best option for your experience. Once again, extremely helpful in finding the best fit for your hearing needs.
Once powered up, the effects are immediate—clear, concise audio with limited background noise. Going through the four modes provided, you can shape your hearing experience based on your environment, and it really makes a difference. The most useful is the restaurant mode. Restaurants are notoriously noisy with lots of ambient sound, but the Jabra does a great job of focusing the audio on where the subject is coming from. Conversations are a breeze, and the background noise is barely noticeable. The key is that it focuses on wherever your attention is, allowing conversations with multiple people without distraction. If you choose to use Bluetooth, you can switch to music mode, which works like noise-canceling headphones and enhances the audio so you can enjoy every detail. The key word for all of these modes is specific enhancements while diminishing unwanted noise—and these do it excellently.
A great bonus out of the box is the auditory support and the 3-year warranty. They clearly want you to have the best experience possible, and it shows with the services they provide. Be sure to take advantage of them, including the 100-day trial. But once you try all the features, I doubt you’ll want to send these back.
One of my biggest concerns was battery life. These hearing aids don’t use interchangeable batteries—the batteries are built in, and they come with a convenient charging case to keep you going throughout your day. Under standard general use, they tout 24 hours on a single charge. I can’t confirm that exact number, but I easily get through entire days without needing to recharge, so charging at night is more than enough. Even better, just 1 hour of charging gives you another 12 hours of usage. As long as you keep your charging case topped up, you’re never truly out of the game. Even if you forget, there are plenty of alerts to let you know how much time you have left. Of course, this number can vary if you’re using Bluetooth heavily, switching modes often, or customizing settings in the app. I like to use all the features, and I’ve still never run out of power during the day.
Another useful accessory is the set of sport locks, so you can wear these confidently during an active lifestyle without worrying about damage.
With all my devices, I like to explore full functionality—which brings me to the app. While not necessary, it’s a great tool to fine-tune your hearing experience. It’s easy to navigate, easy to control, and works smoothly without being overwhelming. If you’d rather not be tethered to your phone, these aids still work just fine using the manual controls. You just need to pay attention to the button presses and instructions. All in all, the app isn’t essential, but it’s a great addition.
One small but thoughtful feature is Smart Start. When you turn on the hearing aids, there’s a short delay before the audio kicks in, allowing you time to put them in place without the risk of whistling. It’s a small touch, but it makes a big difference in comfort.
That’s everything I have. Honestly, I don’t have any negatives to point out—the connection was seamless, I experienced no failures, and all the materials and accessories were well thought out, well prepared, and well executed.
I would recommend these to anyone looking for an all-around great hearing aid experience they can use daily without compromise.

Best Hearing Aids I’ve Ever Owned, Hands Down

I’m not usually the type to write long reviews, but I really feel like I need to for these. The Jabra Enhance Select 700 hearing aids honestly made me tear up the first week I had them.
The very first morning after I got them set up, I went outside to take my dog for a walk and heard birds. Actual birds chirping. I know that sounds small, but I legit haven’t heard that sound clearly in years. I just stood there smiling like an idiot. It hit me how much I’d been missing without even noticing.
Setup was super easy I just followed the steps in the Jabra app and it walked me through everything. Took maybe 15 minutes tops. Once I put them on, the difference was instant. Everything sounded alive again. Voices were clearer, TV sounded normal, and I didn’t have to crank the volume to 80 anymore.
They’re tiny too. I wear glasses every day and these fit perfectly behind my ears without feeling weird or uncomfortable. I forget they’re even on half the time. I got the champagne color and they’re super discreet no one notices unless I tell them.
Battery life’s great. Easily lasts me all day, sometimes two. The little charging case holds extra charges so I don’t stress if I forget to plug it in one night. No more tiny batteries, thank god. The case has magnets too so it’s easy to pop them in before bed.
The app is actually really helpful. I can tweak the sound depending on where I am like boosting voices in a noisy restaurant or lowering background noise at home. I messaged their support team through the app once and they adjusted the settings for me remotely within like a day. It’s wild how convenient that is.
Sound quality though… wow. Voices sound natural, not sharp or fake. I can finally follow group conversations without pretending I heard everything. Even music sounds fuller, like I’m hearing layers again. It’s weirdly emotional at times like rediscovering everyday life.
I also really like that they’re rechargeable and water/sweat resistant. I’ve been caught in light rain a couple times and they’re totally fine. I wear them from morning till night with zero issues.
Streaming from my phone is smooth too. I take calls, listen to podcasts, or even YouTube through them, and the sound is crystal clear. I didn’t think I’d use that much but now it’s one of my favorite parts.
Honestly, the only “negative” I can think of is the price, but even that feels fair once you use them. You’re paying for quality. My old aids from the clinic cost more and didn’t come close to this kind of comfort or sound.
If you’re nervous about ordering hearing aids online, don’t be. I was skeptical too but the whole process was super easy, and Jabra’s support makes you feel like you’re still getting professional care.
Now I go through my day not straining to listen or pretending I heard something. I actually enjoy talking with people again. These gave me back confidence I didn’t realize I’d lost.
If you’re thinking about it just get them. You won’t regret it.

My grandmother has lost her hearing over a long period of time. We’ve tried other things but finally decided to go with a brand that is tried and true.
I made sure to fully charge it up. The first time I just plugged it in and saw the lights on the back go green.
But after reading the manual I decided to open the case and wiggle the hearing aids and push them down and at that point they were being charged in the case.
After fitting them on her ears I asked how they fit and she said they felt ok and she asked how do they look. She has a small head and so the mic piece looks normal to large for her and she ha a really short hair cut. But I reminded her that she won’t see it and she giggled.
I was able to quickly download the app and connect the HA and started the volume really low.
Slowly increased the volume to a point were she was comfortable and the was all smiles.
The inner ear piece disappears and the wire is the only part that I feel is the weakest link.
But over all these are great and has brought my granny happiness

I put off hearing aids for a while just from being stubborn. I'm so glad I chose this brand. Very discreet, extremely effective, and easy to use with the app! I'm hearing things I haven't heard for years!

After going to loud concerts for decades, playing guitar and drums myself, my hearing has definitely degraded over the years. I recently had a hearing test done and the audiologist said I was kind of on the fence for needing hearing aids for my day-to-day life. Obviously I was reluctant to do that, but I decided to give these a try to see if the would improve my day-to-day life without being a nuisance.
Out of the box, these things are very, very tiny, yet they come in a very large protective / charging case. They claim that the hearing aids themselves can run for up to 24 hours on a single charge, and the battery in the case is good for another 3 full charges. I found that to be pretty much accurate. I remember hearing my mom complain about her hearing aids and having to constantly fumble around changing tiny batteries day after day. So making the leap to a rechargeable system is definitely a game changer!
Once I out them in my ears, after a minute or 2 I pretty much forgot they were even there. They are so small and lightweight, you don’t even notice them in your ears. They come with a variety of different tips and cleaning gadgets to make sure you get the perfect fit for your ears, and that you’re able to keep the hearing aids nice and clean. I found that the tips that came pre-installed on the hearing aids worked great for me, so I didn’t have to mess with changing them.
Next you have to download the app and get them paired up. I decided to pair them with my iPad, I have to say that I had a bit of a struggle with the paring process. I followed the on screen instructions and it kept saying it was searching for them to connect, but then after a minute or so the connection would fail. I went through this process at least 6-7 times and it failed every time. So, I deleted the app, restarted the iPad, re-installed the app, and started the process again and it still failed the first 2 times I tried to pair them. But for whatever reason, the third time it worked perfectly and they finally got connected. So, just beware that there might be some hiccups getting them connected to your device. Just keep trying and they will eventually connect.
Once you get them connected, there are a variety of different settings in the app you can tweak to get them just to your liking. They have different settings for different environments like an all around universal, restaurant, listening to music etc. Each of those you can change the volume of the hearing aids as well as adjust the bass, middle, and treble frequencies. I found that for my day-to-day activities the standard all around setting works great for me. I had to keep the volume under 40% otherwise I was getting that weird feedback whenever I was talking. I found that they did make quite a difference in my ability to hear throughout the day. In noisy environments I was able to hear people a lot clearer and found that their voices didn’t get lost in the background sounds. When I was just sitting and watching TV, or talking to a friend face to face in my house it was much easier to understand and I found myself not asking people to repeat things over and over like I normally would.
One other thing I wasn’t expecting, when I went to play a video or game on mt iPad, the sound came through the hearing aids so I was able to use them like earbuds as well and still be able to hear through them like a hearing aid.
I think after a short period of getting used to wearing them and the way things sound, these are going to completely change my life. Its amazing how far technology has come these days and things like these are able to exist.
One other thing I forgot to mention is that with these hearing aids you get 3 years of audiology services which allows you to meet with a licensed audiology team through a video chat to help with any problems or adjustments you need to make.
They really did think of everything, and include everything you need with these hearing aids.
If you already wear hearing aids, especially ones with batteries that you have to change, these will be SO much easier for you to use. If you are like me and have never really worn hearing aids before, definitely give them a try. I thought they would be cumbersome and intrusive, but I found them to be the exact opposite. You hardly know they are their and they drastically improve your quality of life!

My father has been utilizing the Jabra Enhance Select 700 Earbuds for approximately one week, and they have indeed provided an exceptional auditory experience. From the outset, the setup process was seamless; pairing the device with his smartphone required only a few minutes. The sound quality immediately impressed both of us, rendering every conversation clear, crisp, and natural, which facilitates his engagement with enhanced confidence and ease.
What distinguishes these hearing aids is the unique combination of their size, comfort, and performance capabilities. The Select 700s hold the distinction of being the world's smallest rechargeable receiver-in-ear hearing aids, consistently meeting this reputation. Their ergonomic design renders them virtually invisible and exceedingly comfortable, to the extent that my father often forgets he is wearing them. Despite their diminutive size, they deliver clinical-level performance, a testament to Jabra’s proprietary technology with Auto Focus, which automatically focuses on speech while implementing advanced noise reduction in real-time.
Another notable feature is their Bluetooth connectivity, which allows my father to stream phone calls, music, and additional media directly to his hearing aids from his iPhone or Android device. The hands-free calling feature offers remarkable convenience; a simple double-tap on the earpiece allows him to answer calls, much like premium wireless earbuds.
The battery life has also surpassed expectations; he typically achieves over 24 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Furthermore, the portable charging case provides three additional full charges. These hearing aids are weatherproof, rated for use in various environments, and protected against rain, sweat, and dust, ensuring durability in diverse settings.
The Jabra Enhance Select App adds an extra layer of personalization, allowing him to adjust settings and optimize sound for various environments directly from his smartphone.
In summary, the Jabra Enhance Select 700 offers an impressive combination of cutting-edge technology, all-day comfort, and exceptional audio clarity, all at a lower cost compared to traditional clinical options. This product has significantly transformed my father’s hearing experience, reinstating his enjoyment of daily interactions.

I have used these Jabra Enhance Select 700 series hearing aids for the last two weeks and here are my overall thoughts on them. Out of the box, they are very simple to charge and it is easy to tell that the case and hearing aids are fully charged. You will get all of the information you need to set up your hearing aids in easy to read cards that guide you through the process. It also provides you information on how to get ahold of their people to troubleshoot and also to set up an appointment with one of their specialists to make sure your hearing aids are set up to meet your needs. Having the option to set up an appointment is a very valuable feature when buying this product. I am an Android user and I had some issues connecting the hearing aids to my phone. I did have to reach out to their technical team and we spent about 30 minutes on the line before we could solve the connectivity issue. Very grateful to also have this team ready to help you troubleshoot any technical issues. Once you have the Jabra app set up, it is easy to customize the settings to your needs. I have mild hearing loss and my main problem is hearing well in large crowds. I specifically got these Jabra hearing aids because they have a specific setting "Restaurant" that helps you hone in on people you are having a conversation with. This setting has been a difference maker for me! If you have never worn hearing aids, it will take some time to get used to all the amplified noises, but that usually takes a day or two. Another feature that I really like is that these hearing aids don't bother my ears. They are extremely light weight and don't bother my outer ear or my ear canal. It comes with all of the accessories to ensure that your hearing aids are kept in working order. Just make sure you are diligent about keeping them clean, otherwise they will not work properly. Overall, I am extremely happy with these Jabra Enhance Select 700 hearing aids. They have made a big difference in my experiences with large crowds and being able to hold a conversation without having to ask the person to repeat themselves. If you are looking to get a pair of hearing aids, I highly recommend these.

OVERALL
These seem outstanding. I'm pretty new when it comes to hearing aids and the technical jargon behind them, but these impressed me.
The Jabra Enhance Select 700 is a new, over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid released by Jabra. It is the company's smallest and smartest rechargeable receiver-in-ear (RIE) hearing aid yet. I originally picked these up for my mom as her hearing has deteriorated gradually over the last few years. Its most notable when speaking to her and she's turned to the side with most difficulty hearing. We either need to get closer or speak loudly to hear us. While she does use OTC aids, they're finicky, unreliable and seems to need to be constantly adjusted which makes more troubling than useful. Plus, the battery has been a joke, even when they were new. It's all the things you wouldn't want from a product like this.
SETUP
This part was surprising as how deep the setup process goes. It holds your hand and instructs you every step on the way. The very first thing the packaging brings up is the Jabra app. You need the serial number to create an account and log in. Once in, it guides you across your hearing aid, the functions, ports, buttons, cleaning/maintenance and warranty information, it's thorough in making sure you know about your new product. Once in, it brings you to a consultation screen to setup an appointment and a hearing test. It asks to use any earbuds or headphones with special instructions if your only option are airpods. It does bring up that this test isn't a replacement for an audiogram at a specialists office, but the feedback from it greatly assists with configuring your hearing aid. However, if you recently had an audiogram done, you're given the option to submit that instead and it can be used to properly configure the hearing aid for you.
HANDS-ON
Once calibrated for your specific needs, you're ready to go. I think it's worth noting that the app offers 4 modes, an all around mode for everyday conversations. An indoor mode where more ambient noise is present and you want to focus on the person speaking next to you. An outdoor mode for open air events. Lastly, a fully custom mode for you to adjust to your particular hearing needs.
All modes can be easily accessed from the app or through 2 second holds of the button on the hearing aid. Just like modes, different variations of button presses trigger different functions from volume levels, answering a call, changing a track, etc. The device features Jabra's next-generation SoundScape system with Auto Focus, which adjusts to the wearer's acoustic environment in real-time to provide clearer speech understanding and comfort in noisy settings. The Jabra Enhance 700 also has a unique adjustable directional mix, which combines omnidirectional and directional processing by frequency. This allows users to localize who is speaking while preserving situational awareness.
With the Jabra Enhance 700, it's apparent she has better hearing as louder conversations aren't a thing anymore.
It has an IP68 rating for moisture and dirt protection and features a protective nano-coating on every component. The device also has a long-lasting battery life, with a single 3-hour charge providing more than 24 hours of use.
The Jabra Enhance 700 comes with 3 years of remote audiology care, including professional fitting and ongoing adjustments from Jabra's team of licensed hearing care professionals.
ISSUES
While a minor inconvenience, every connection attempt to pair phone with hearing aid is a ritual of taking them out of the charging case and triggering a scan on phone several attempts before a successful pairing occurs. The very first attempt to pair them resulted in multiple failed attempts that at some point the app asked that it seemed to be having an issue and if you would like to reach out to support.
CONCLUSION
This has been an overwhelmingly great product that has changed someone's quality of life for the better. The features this offers far outweigh any concerns I may have.
This is worth 5-stars.
