One of my favorite Jack Reacher movies. An instant classic.

This is a great sequel to the first Reacher movie.

The packaging for this 4K disc was simplistic, but was clear it was 4K The disc was manufactured well. No errors. I bought it without seeing the movie (was less than the price of my wife and i going to the movies to see it.) But, the content of the movie was well below the first movie... cruise seemed uninvested, unexcited about his role...so, essentially the movie dragged on. I wanted it as part of my collection, but i would have been better off waiting for just the Bluray offering with a deep discount. Hence, while the price overall was a good bargain, ultimately the movie was non-engaging enough that i feel the disc was way over-priced. I would recommend the DVD instead (or the Blu-ray at a $5 deep discount). I would not recommend the 4K version because its price results in buyers remorse.

I think that "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" was one of the greatest films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time and this film was a creative and original sequel to "Jack Reacher". I also think that this film had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

Jack Reacher uncovers the truth behind a government conspiracy. After dismantling a human trafficking ring, former military investigator, Jack Reacher returns to his old military headquarters to meet Major Turner, whom he has been working with during his travels, only to learn from Colonel Morgan that he has been accused of espionage and he is detained. But Turner's attorney, Colonel Moorcroft, reveals there is evidence that Turner is involved in the murders of two soldiers in Afghanistan, so Reacher, being framed sets out to prove it..

This is another prime example of how experience and active imagination can take a book and make it a reality in Hollywood. Granted this is Hollywood we are talking about, but the plot and the synapses itself are what builds this movie. It's like anything else, if the plot is sound and the acting is good, 9 out of 10 times the movie will be decent. The acting was decent and the plot was good for the book, but the movie itself will definitely keep any action thriller junkie entertained for the length of the movie.
