Ms. Portman does an excellent job in her portrayal of Jackie Kennedy. It is interesting to see an account from a differing viewpoint than seen in the national news coverage at the time of its occurrence. Well written and acted, and enjoyed that it was filled with conspiracy theories that have claimed other movies regarding that infamous day in history.

The movie portrays the assassination and burial of John Kennedy as experienced by Jackie Kennedy. One can imagine that such a film would be somber and sad. This film is even more somber and sad than one might imagine. Natalie Portman superbly conveys the deep misery Mrs Kennedy went through, and makes us realize the great strength Mrs Kennedy possessed to get through that all and still hold herself together.

THIS WAS A GOOD MOVIE ABOUT AN HEROIC WOMAN! JACKIE KENNEDY WAS A STRONG WOMAN AND THIS MOVIE SHOWS HOW SHE CREATED A NEW AND SAFE LIFE FOR HER FAMILY AFTER HER TRAGIC LOSS OF HER HUSBAND. THE WAY THIS MOVIE PLAYS OUT ALLOWS THE VIEWER TO BE UPLIFTED BY HER AMAZING STRONG COURAGE. NATALIE PORTMAN DID AN AMAZING JOB PLAYING JACKIE!

Well-acted. Poignant and introspective. Not so sure of the accuracy of events.

Jackie is by far one of my top three films of 2016. Playing the iconic Jackie Kennedy, Portman gives a powerful performance that will be remembered. The directing is beautiful and the cinematography takes you on this saddening journey with every frame. The score is so hauntingly perfect in a Hitchcock kind of way, dragging you deeper into the true undertone of the film which is truly a loss of power.

A great film that attempts, very well, to recapture the timeline following the assassination of John F. Kennedy, as seen thru the eyes of his widow, Jackie Kennedy. The acting is very impressive, and the retelling of this sad event is done with care and reverence, with as much of an eye towards realism as is possible. You really feel you are going thru this trying time with Mrs. Kennedy.

This movie is the collateral damage caused by the people behind the curtain that did not agreed with JFK principals , this is where Jackie Kennedy life begins and continue during her life time taking and caring for her children to the end of history .

I found this look into the mind of Jackie following the assassination of her husband very fascinating. Portman, based on audio recordings I've heard of Jackie, did a phenomenal job of portraying her (Jackie). The assassination flashbacks are a bit in-your-face but they have to be. I felt as though I were Jackie and experiencing the same feelings if I were in the limo.

I liked Katie Holmes better. Could not really follow it.

Shows the very human side of an American legacy. Well acted, with outstanding details to time and place. Some reviewers complain this was boring. I think not, rather, it conveys the elements of real grief both public and private. Grief isn't boring, but it takes time to build, enfold, and finally ebb. This movie was a master at Illustrating that.

Strong portrayal by Natalie Portman but movie itself was slow and tedious at times. Don't like to think of Jackie Kennedy as neurotic and paranoid but came away with the feeling they have it sort of right or at least politically corrected. Decent movie tried hard for an accurate portrayal.

This is very good movie based on a true story from Americas recent past. The film stars Natalie Portman who offers a very interesting and believeable portrayal of Jackie Kennedy.,I would recommend the movie but it does have some graphic violence and some sad, dark passsges.

There are many movies and mini-series on Jackie and John Kennedy and I have probably seen all of them. In my opinion Natalie Portman captured the essence of Jackie it wasn’t just an acting job. I am an avid reader of all things Kennedy and this movie is my favorite portrayal of a complicated woman.

For better or worse, and for right or wrong, when we think of Kennedy we think of JFK and the tragedy in Texas. What this film does is opens us to another side of the story, what it was like to be Jackie Kennedy and the problems she faced, including the murder of her husband. Excellent job by all involved.

This is a good movie to really experience what the JFK assassination was like for Jackie O.. Other than being an interesting story, this movie doesn't really deliver much else. A great rental, but I wouldn't have bought it if I had already seen it.

I lived thru this dark chapter in our history; 'Jackie' brilliantly reveals the behind-the-scenes that would otherwise have gone unappreciated. Natalie Portman's portrayal is utterly =brilliant=... down to the nuanced mannerisms... and vocal inflections; it is thoroughly tasteful... a "must see!"

I didn’t know anything about this movie other than the historical angle it was representing. Any historical drama, documentary, etc., are hits for me. This was no exception and the blu-ray presentation, and beautiful slipcover, make for a welcomed addition to my movie vault.

Such a painful film when you really take into fact that JFK's assassination really changed so much. Jackie shows a beautifully tragic behind the scenes of the moments/days following the terrible moment on 11/22/63. A brilliant film that should be in anyone's collection.

This movie has an Avant-Garde feel from the music to the visual style. Captured on 16mm film to match the historical footage from the dark days of Nov. 1963. A powerful performance by Natalie Portman as Jacqueline Kennedy.

We all know about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy but not much about what First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy went through after wards. Coping with the loss of Jack and having not much time to grief before she had to moved from the White House.
