No bass to speak of, and controls on the side are difficult to discern without taking them out and looking. They meet minimum requirements ... they work. And they're cheap. Don't expect much.

Easily damaged

Which led me to believe it wouldn't last under normal wear & tear. After a few days it looked like I had it for years. The sound was great but I didn't want to chance it falling apart on me. So I returned it.
