I was shocked to see how clean and polished these restorations are. They look more like modern day films that take place during the 60's, as opposed to being shot during the 60's. Bond is still Bond, if you liked him before, you'll still like him now. The selection for this set is somewhat curious, as it seems the films were almost picked out of a hat as to which ones would go into this collection. The extra features are fantastic, with many interesting documentaries on the process the restoration company used to polish these films so well. My only gripe is that the case, while stylish and clever, holds the discs in place with little foam nubs which look like they're wear out over time, as opposed to a tried and true plastic nub found standard in almost every disc release for any platform (DVD, Blu-Ray, Xbox360, PS3, Wii, etc) All in all though, a wonderful collection with excellent features. A must buy. I can't wait for the rest of the films to make it over.

I got the other two Bond sets last Christmas, and got this one this year. I had been more excited about the other two, but I liked Dr. No and Live and Let Die enough to get this set, despite it containing Die Another Day, which I believe to be the worst Bond film made. The audio quality is great as could be expected - the restoration of these classics is a marvel to behold. Detail is very sharp, and colors stand out more. I highly recommend this set and the other two sets, especially when you can get them for about twenty dollars!

Like I said it is an amazing way to see Bond, especially the older movies. I am very pleased with the extra content and even the packaging is a cool feature. It is a must buy for any Bond fan or blu-ray collection.
