I was in the market for a soundbar and the rep sold me on the Sonos Playbar. After getting it home and setting it up I felt it was lacking detail and audio depth. It was very loud but sounded kind of flat. I wanted something that brought on more detail and better vocals and for the money I expected more. I went into the app and adjusted the bass and treble and other settings but it just wouldn't come to life. After listening to countless bars I settled on the Jamo Torsten 360 which happened to be on sale that day.
One thing I really liked about the Sonos was the versatility and ease of use so I bought the Sonos Connect unit to regain that attribute. (which by the way saved me 400.00 total and still gives me the versatility of the Sonos platform#. Only downside is I have to physically turn it on where as the playbar turned itself on. No biggie as it comes with a remote and can be programmed to your tv remote as well. The unit also has Bluetooth to link to your phone. I believe it can link to two sources as well. However over Bluetooth the sub lacked in performance a little bit.
Only thing I listened to that had better overal harmonics and detail was the Martin Logan Soundbar, #Vision I think). It was just a bit overkill for my master bedroom. The clarity and detail from the Jamo is far beyond that of the Playbar and the bass hits tight and clean. Not to mention it was 1/2 the cost. Now I had more money to buy more Sonos connect units!

For years I've had good TV's with great picture capabilities, but something has always been missing. Well I found it in the Jamo-Torsten sound bar. My viewing pleasure is now complete. If this is in the budget run to your nearest BB and get one, you will never regret it for a minute. Best $799 I ever spent when you look at the bang for the buck. The sound is incredible, I really have no other words to describe the experience. Earlier I got a sound bar for the bedroom in the $250 range and I was amazed at that (it was my first) and the quality. This one blew it away and I cannot imagine needing anything more. By far the best purchase for me this century.

After setting up sound bar with their ridiculous flashing colored lights directions I'm waiting to here some great sounds from this 800.00 speaker. Not to happen. The volume goes down on its own, faster especially when you change channels. Called their 800# on hold for 1hour, left my name # no call back. Emailed their support team (ha) no response, it's been 7days. Traded it in for the sonos sound bar, love it (4 stars)
