Natalie Portman does a good job as a pioneer woman in the old west, trying to defend her injured husband and home.

I did not see the previews for this movie and the name of the movie didn't do much. However after reading some reviews and being a fan of westerns and the actors i took a chance. I loved this movie it was one of the best I've seen in the last year. It was well written and the acting what can i say it spectacular. If you are a fan of westerns you have to see it.

This is a pretty good western. Really terrific casting. Very well written. Portman was up to the task.

What a great western! Modern intensity with old school grace, superb acting, direction, script, photography, set and costume historical accuracy, and plenty of twists and turns. Gripping yet slow to burn, the plot smolders, then explodes. This deserved an Oscar nod (fuggedabout the hideous acting in "Revenant," please).

Not as good as expected from the previews but, still an entertaining movie.

Movie is based in the west. Good action movie for those who like action.

This is a decent movie but it was drawn out by giving the characters too much background information. The movie should have been done in a fashion whereby certain aspects of their pasts are inferred and the pace of the movie would have been appropriate with additional action scenes.
