I have had previous Jawbones and in the last two years product support from Jawbone to upgrade software and customize has dropped to zero

I bought 2 because thought the first was broken. I had this paired against my iPhone 6 Plus. Static and signal that cuts in/out. It's really a horrible headset. I can't imagine buying Jawbone again. I also have a couple of plantronics, and a motorola that are all 10x better than this garbage.

    Fabulous Design but poor functionality

I bought this headset being very excited about the small size and the noise-cancellation features. I also purchased the charging case which was very well designed. The overall product design is excellent, the fit to my ear was excellent, but everyone that I talked to said that I sounded like I was at the bottom of a well or in a tunnel. I went to the Jawbone website and found a support thread where it was obvious that a lot of customers were having the exact same issues. A firmware update is supposedly in the works but the current firmware did nothing to solve this issue. I went through all of the recommendations on the support site regarding re-pairing, updating the firmware, etc. but nothing seemed to help. My old $19 Motorola sounds a lot better. I'm taking it back and getting something different, I'll be reading all of the reviews of the other headsets to see which one I should purchase. Hopefully Jawbone will get it together with this unit, and it may work with other phones/devices just fine, but it is pretty clear that there is some issue with the iphone5/5s.

ERA by Jawbone - Great Bluetooth Headset

I have found this bluetooth headset to be both functional and stylish. Pairing to my Galaxy S5 was easy. The ERA is very comfortable to my ear with a secure fit. I've been using Jawbone headsets since they've hit the market. After purchasing other devices, just to return them, Jawbone always comes out on top for me. Although battery life could be a little better, sound and talk quality are unmatched. Plus, the ERA in black just looks great. Looks and functionality! What more could you ask for?

I picked up this headset a few weeks ago after doing a fair amount of research. I love Jawbone products and I was really excited for this bluetooth headset. I already had the app, so setup was super simple. The app lets you customize some button combinations, announce the callers, and even use voice activated features. The issues for me came when I put it in my ear. The small earpiece that it came with was the only one that fit, the others were so large. It didn't fit well but I tried it anyway, I thought it was something I just had to get used to. It was tremendously uncomfortable and really hard to make it through a conversation. Voice quality and speaker quality was another issue with this unit. This is a bone-conducting microphone, meaning that it needs to touch your cheek or jawbone to work. The NoiseAssassin technology to cut outside noise really didn't work, still got a lot of noise from the surroundings and when it tried to cut it out, it made the noise more obvious. Occasionally the person on the other end sounds sort of digitized, almost like a robot. It kind of comes and goes without any real explanation or reasoning, then leaves without a trace. I really can't recommend this headset to anyone, I actually picked up the Bose Bluetooth Headset Series 2, and haven't had any issues thus far. Listening to music did work very well, but the comfort did make me stop using it, the charging case is also a great idea and was pretty awesome to be able to quickly recharge the headset when I was not using it.

    Speaker stops working intermittently

After about 2 minutes of call time, the speaker will cut out. Going to the phone, switching to another audio output for a few seconds, and switching back seems to work for another couple of minutes, but that rather defeats the purpose of even having a Bluetooth headset - it is no longer hands-free. This does not seem to be an issue on MicroCell networks.
