Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the UP MOVE Activity Tracker's sleep and step tracking, ease of use, and long battery life. Many appreciate its small size and accurate readings, along with the affordable price and helpful app. However, some customers have experienced issues with the clip detaching from clothing and syncing problems with their phones. A few also noted that it lacks waterproofing.

Some Good, but with Serious Flaws

The Good: It's small and inexpensive. It does a good job tracking steps, and syncs easily and wirelessly with the UP app. It takes an easy-to-find watch battery, so it does not need to be charged. The Bad: It's not so good if you want to track sleep also. A wrist band is an extra $15, and it's a nuisance to get the thing in and out of it's clip. The UP app itself, is poorly designed and coded. It crashes frequently, sometimes crashing the phone itself (something I've seen no other app do.) And if you are tracking sleep, the app adds more sleep every time it syncs. On one day, it eventually said I had slept for over 23 hours between 11 and 6:30. This happened almost every day. BTW these app problems apply to any of the Jawbone trackers. And the Worst: The clip does not hold tightly to your clothing, causing the device to fall off while you are using it. Mine lasted about a week before falling off someplace where it could not be found. I replaced it with a different product, one that does not have the serious disadvantages as this one.

I didn't have very high expectations for this device as it was under $30 when I purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised by the durability and easy to use one button operation. When it comes to fitness trackers, ultimately I look to the software used to interface with the device. While I FitBits is the best in my opinion, Jawbones is easy to read. Pairing and syncing were a snap and sleep tracking was great. My only gripe is that the motion tracking seemed to waiver quite a bit from other devices I have used.

    Doesn't keep accurate count

I was drawn to this activity tracker for the price. While I do like being able to track my sleep habits, I don't feel like it keeps accurate count of my steps. I tested it against my husband's Garmin Vivosmart and his was accurate. It was right on with the pedometer on my iPhone. It doesn't seem like such a great deal when it doesn't keep track of your steps correctly!

I returned my Jawbone & got a Fitbit instead. Jawbone only works with Andriod & Iphone. I had windows. Also Jawbone does not sync up to a laptop to get a better view of your progress. The price is right & if you only want to view this on your cell it's perfect just not for me.

Fairly basic but durable. Best feature is its ease of use. Only problem is the unreliability of data (specifically step tracking).

Overall I really like the UP Move tracker. For the price it does what I need it to do. Sometimes when I click to change the setting from step tracking to sleep tracking or vice versa, it will not change. I have to wait a few minutes and then try again.

I was only really interested in counting my steps so I didn't want to spend the extra money on a different brand. Overall I've been happy for the money, but I do wonder about its accuracy at times. I notice that there will randomly be a lapse in time, but for the most part it serves it's purpose.

They serve their purpose. After 3 days my battery was having a hard time connecting so it kept losing power. For $50 though it works okay. Will probably buy a more expensive one next time.

i have an UP wrist band and was pleased with the way it recorded my steps. The UP Move works and sync's well, but my steps are consistently down since switching from the band to the move. It makes me think it is not as accurate as the band.

I like the Jawbone activity trackers. This is the third type I've used but this one seems the least accurate.

This one is okay a bit difficult to get to link with my I phone but it finally did. Does what I want it to , steps and sleep time so good product if you are only looking for those items. It offers other things but for me they do not work as well.

I am not a fan of the wrist devices so I prefer a clip on deal. The only issue is accuracy and the ability to sync with my other apps. Its still handy and there are work arounds but certainly not my fav.
