Good entry-level activity tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an entry-level activity tracker, but what's great about it is that it allows you to use the same Jawbone app that other higher-end Jawbone devices use. You do give up a few features, but the basic things (steps, sleep, exercise time, calories) are all here, and for most people, that's enough. It is a lot better than a basic pedometer. It counts steps obviously, but on your phone, it also graphs it for you so you can see throughout the day when you are most active, and that might motivate you to do more. One advantage that it offers is that it doesn't need to be attached to your wrist, so for cycling exercise (indoors or outdoors), you can keep it in your pocket and it will track the spins for you. With a wrist band, you cannot know how many spins you've made because usually the wrist is stationary. The battery lasts a long time (it says 6 months). I've had it for about 2 months, and it is still going strong. So unless you want more advanced things like heart rate, GPS and message notifications, this is a very good and low-cost way to start tracking your activities.

Dedicated Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had burned through 4 Fitbit Flex before I gave up on them. Then I saw this tracker on sale and it was worth the $20 opportunity cost. It runs off a replaceable Lithium battery which means the charge is good for 4-6 months then a quick batter swap gets it back up and running. The hardware interface is quite easy to use, a quick press shows the current tracked state (activity or sleep), a double press shows the current time and a long press toggles between sleep and activity. There are different colored and shaped lights which indicate which mode it is currently operating in which makes for convenient identification. My biggest complain is that I have lost the unit 3 times already when it shot off my belt due to an arm brush or getting something out of my pocket. So far I have been able to find it each time but it is annoying when it happens. The android app is pretty clean thought I wish there was a way I could review the result on the web. The app has a feature called smart coach which attempts to motivate you to continually do better but increasing your activity, sleep and better caloric intake. This is great most of the time but it would be nice to have an "i'm injured" feature to explain why activity plummets to minimal. So in summary well-featured and easy to use for a great price tag. If you are considering getting into personal tracking and do not want to face the $200-$300 expenditure of other tracker this is a great alternative.

Great tracker and easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, this is a great tracker. It tracks your steps and sleep and workouts. It can even tell the time in a unique way. Syncs flawlessly by Bluetooth to my iPhone. And the free smartphone app gives lots of info, encouragement and it's easy to use. You can set up teams so you can compare to family and friends. There are a few small cons. One is the battery life. They say it's 6+ months but it's more like 3-4 months. Another is the accessories. They are pricey and not very well made. The band, which they say is essential for sleep tracking, is sold separately and is easily stretched out.

Simple and affordable tracker to get moving
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tracker: One of the cheapest trackers in the market. No heavy on technology but still gets its word through the user. Get moving with only $50. No fancy lights (this one actually has a few to show time). No extra heart rate information. Just plain and simple step count with classic pinnable design. App: The best fitness app you can get out there. Works on almost all smart phones. The coach feature is really a great motivator. Take challenges and get rewards for completing them. Battery: put once and forget about 4-6 months depending on usage. Cons: Needs separate band to purchase for sleep tracking. At times it's difficult to put tracker in the mount, gets better with practice.

A device that keeps motivated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like all features that let me log in food but frustrated when doing manual for sometimes i cook homemade but other than that i like the sleep track and doesnt get in the way when sleeping meaning doesnt self click and love it use as watch but barely keep it on wrist cause it's easy to fall. It is pretty accurate but hard to count because its not screen type though not big deal. As for the price, pretty good deal for such small device that has all I need to keep me motivated.

Motivates me to move
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this for myself. I wanted a device that did not go on my wrist but on my waistband or pocket due to my job. You need to have a smartphone compatible, but it measures sleep movement as well as steps. I can log any workouts (swimming) when I'm not wearing the up move device. Just purchased one for my husband to motivate him and we can "friend" each other for some healthy competition. Have not used all the features yet, hence only 4 stars.

1, 3, 6, 9...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how it can be clipped on and easily hidden to assist in keeping track of my steps. Before this, I lugged around a pencil and notebook and counted my steps to keep track, you could say I'm moving on up! It even keeps track of your sleep habits so no more waking up in the middle of the night to jot down notes for me. Gotta love technology.

Love the app and ease of use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jawbone UP app is great and easy to understand. I also love how it integrates with MyFitnessPal, which I use to track calories. I only have two complaints about my Jawbone: 1) sometimes it loses its sync connection with my iPhone, and I have to "reboot" the tracker. 2) It can be really difficult to get in and out of the provided clip.

Simple Easy Tracking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my wife to wear. Just needed something to track her steps each day. The sleep tracking is a plus. She is not a tech guru so the ease of use was important. It was easy to setup. Have had some sync issues but everything I have ever purchased with Bluetooth always has some. This device is a clip-on and secures very well to her clothing.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.picked this up on sale and have not been disappointed. Keeps track of steps, has a stop watch, tracks sleep, and even can be used as a watch. I had to buy the wrist bands for it to track sleep i dont mind having to log activities on the app, but some might

Easy and accurate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an UP24 for about a year before switching to the Move. What I love most is how compact it is--I wear it clipped to the middle of my bra and you cannot see it. Plus I can continue to use the Jawbone software, and the Move has fewer connecting issues than the UP24 does. There is no "soft reset" needed, ever, which is great. I won't go back to a wrist-worn tracker.

Great product for everyday use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am the owner of a Jawbone Up24 but I was not always happy with the fact that I had to wear it around my wrist. When I found the Up Move I was happy with the fact that I could wear it under my clothes and still get the simple results I was looking for. If you are just looking for an activity monitor just to track your steps and you want to be discreet about it...this is the tracker for you. However, I was a little disappointed to find out that the tracker will only light up in a fill circle if you reach the goal of 10,000 steps or more; not the personal goal you set in the app. When you look at Jawbone's YouTube video for the tracker it makes it seem as though the tracker will glow in a fill circle once you have reached YOUR goal. The truth is you have to walk 10,000 steps in order for this feature to work.

Great compact tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great little compact tracker. Its very small and could be used discreetly. You could also remove it from the included belt clip and just toss it into your pocket. I wouldve liked for it to be waterproof like other trackers.

Does what it says
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It tracks my steps and sleep and helps me with my food choices. Clip bent and now doesn't stay on the pocket, so I just keep it in my pocket and it works well enough.

Convenient and easy to use tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that it clips on rather than having to wear on wrist. It is great for tracking steps, exercising, and sleep. Would like it to be able to set up notifications when sitting too long at desk to get up a move around.

Easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Jawbone - UP Move Activity Tracker . found it easy to use, easy to sync and small enough to be inconspicuous but alas I lost this one last week and have switched to the UP2 to wear on my wrist.

Step feature works very well, sleep not so much
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this primarily to help me keep track of how active I am being, and it has done wonderfully at that. On days when I don't get away from my desk much, it reflects at the end of the day, and as a result I have found myself getting up more often to stretch my legs and generally stay a bit more active. On the downside, the sleep function doesn't seem to function well at all. For the first week or two I would always put it in sleep mode when I went to sleep, and take it out when I woke up (usually around 7 hrs later), and it would consistently show me getting 2 hrs of sleep. Not sure why it does this, but in the end I just stopped using that function, since it wasn't my primary purpose in getting the device anyway.
