I purchased this product the same day my spouse purchased another fitness tracker. So far this product has out performed hers. The reason I purchased the Jawbone was the to help with pushing me toward better fitness. I love the fit and ease of use. I also enjoy the app. It is better than the app that came with my wife's fitness tracker.

Good for a entry level fitness tracking band if you do not need to track heart rate. UP app is intuitive, providing recommendations based on sleep and activity patterns. Band is very comfortable and battery life is over 7 days. You can order a free fitness clasp from UP website, which helps secure the band even more.

I had the jawbone up 24 and took it back because I would get caught on my cloths my little ones and it would pull off. I had returned it and got the Fitbit flex that I really liked also but the app was not as nice as the jawbone. My flex started acting up after a year so I seen the new up2 and had to try it and love it and the app is even better than I remember. Over all I am happy with the new look size and style.

Small, light, forgettable (literally forget I'm wearing sometimes). App is great. Tracker is more accurate than my girlfriends Fit-bit. Smart alarm feature is life changing (don't wake up groggy anymore). Much more durable than my UP24, have not had any issues with this band.

My Wife and I love Ours

My wife and I both got one to get us motivated to be more active. I've had mine for one month, and she has had hers for 1 week. It's the first activity trackers we have purchased and we love them! We both have the black versions, which are great. Nobody comments on them, even the kids. Love it that they don't attract attention. It appears that both my wife and mine are fairly consistent at tracking steps. Sleep does seem a bit off, but since its based off movement, I'm not surprised. Don't expect medical level sleep tracking with a $100 device. But the sleep does seem accurate to the fact that if I had a bad night's sleep, the tracker indicates that I either woke up a lot or was in light sleep much of the night. Lots of reviews complain about the clasp. Personally, I have had no problem with the clasp coming undone or have had any problems putting it one. It took about 1 day to figure it out. My wife has stated that it was easy for her since it is similar to putting on a variety of bracelets she owns. In the month that I have owned mine, it has not fallen off once. I have even gotten it caught on equipment as I was working and the clasp still held. Another complaint that people have had is the "issue" with double tapping the device to change modes. My wife and I have had no issues with this as well. Granted it took me a bit of time to figure it out. The initial week, it seemed like I was tapping 8 to 12 times before it would switch. However after a week I found a "solution". For me, if I hold my wrist out like I was to view the time on a watch, I rarely have to tap more than 3 times to change the mode. Just remember that after the mode light comes on to press down on the tracker to change the mode. My wife has figured hers out in less than a day and has had no problems with changing modes. Our only issue with the trackers has been with my wife's app. (Make sure to download the purple version, as the blue version works with other trackers.) Her app didn't seem to calculate the distance traveled very well at first. She would take 7000 steps and the app would say she has traveled .01 miles! After deleting and reinstalling her app, it now calculates a more realistic distance. For the money, I think this is the best tracker to buy. I did a lot of research before purchasing these and settled on the Up2 over Fitbit, Garmin, or any of the others. The Jawbone Up2 is comfortable, the clasp hasn't been an issue for us, and double tapping on the device works good. The app is great and easy to use. Overall, we have had no problems with them, except for that pesky distance calculation on my wife's app which was solved by reinstalling the app.

I was eager to purchase the latest iteration of the upband. However, out the box it seemed glitchy. A few weeks later it didn't work. I called customer service and they were amazing at troubleshooting, they ultimately sent me a replacement. The app is great, the functionality is equally great and I was a happy camper until a few days ago. The "clasp" if you want to call it that, is not the best for keeping the band on your wrist. On more than one occasion the band would unclasp and fall off. Unfortunately, this Saturday I was not able to feel it fall off and lost it. I don't know if i'll be replacing this or a competitor's product, but one this is for certain, the up2 clasp needs some improvement.

Very comfortable fit. The device firmware updates are done through the app on your phone over Bluetooth, which is really convenient of your away from your computer. Though you can't go swimming with it, you can keep it on while taking a shower or hand washing dishes. No heart rate monitor on the UP2s, but it does track steps, nutrition, and sleep. The nutritional part of the UP app is awesome for getting nutrition facts on know restaurant foods. Works great with other fitness apps also like MyFitness Pal and the iPhone Health app. And it does automatically syncs to your phone.

I recently replaced my Up 24 with the new Up 2. I loved the Up 24 but it had gotten older and needed replacing. The Up 2 does what you expect it to but I miss the button so I can accurately time my workouts. I also do not care for the clasp hook as mine has unclasped and slipped off of me several times. The Up 2 also requires charging more often than the Up 24 did too. I'm not unhappy with it and I would recommend it if you are looking for a good way to track your activity, I just miss the features of the Up 24.

I bought this for my wife because her UP24 broke. She really likes it. The design is good, it tracks steps better. The only thing she doesn't like is that it isn't as easy to put it into Sleep mode if you don't do it through the phone.

The Jawbone UP2 is a great way to keep track of your steps and sleep. It has caused me to be much more active every day by just setting a goal and constantly knowing my progress. The only complaint I have is about the clasp. The previous band of the same type I had broke and I had to replace it.

Prior to this I used the original Jawbone Up band. The form factor on this band is FAR better! it does not catch on clothes, is far less bulky, and looks nice. While I enjoy not having physical buttons to press to change modes I don't like the fact that sometimes it takes a lot of time to actually get it to change modes and that I can no longer activate the stopwatch without doing that in the partner iPhone app. I find that with the new clasp it comes unclasped in normal activity 1-2 times per week. Clearly that is not good. The app also has issues but hopefully that can be fixed over time. All things said, I like the bluetooth connectivity, form factor, and comfort enough that I do recommend it to friends. It fits well and is a great help to health in both activity and diet (via companion app).

I love the Jawbone UP2 because it tracks your sleep, step, working out, eating, and a whole list of other things. The only con I see in the Jawbone UP2 is the strap. The strap comes loose very easily. If this issue was fixed I would definitely give this product five stars.

much lighter and more sleek than the UP24. The "two tap" response is inconsistent, but Jawbone support was helpful. No longer able to set the stopwatch from the unit, have to do it through the software, which is a minus. Still a great fitness band for the price.

Overall, I like the UP2 better than my previous UP band. It's smaller and more comfortable to wear 24/7. Like most everyone else, the clasp is a strange design and sometimes open on it's own. It also sometimes changes into sleep mode by itself, or can be hard to "wake up" with tapping...tap tap tap tap tap! My main complaint is that it doesn't track my bicycle activity well at all. I often go for 20-30 mile bike rides and it will only track around 2000 steps. My previous UP band would track 15000 or more for the bicycle ride.

Great activity tracker. Like the sleek design and the app. I wish the food database was a bit more comprehensive especially for barcodes. The clasp for the handle needs a better design and can fall off your hand.

It's stylish- comes undone too easy I'm surprised I haven't lost it- the tap to activate different modes is not consistent it's hit or miss & the charging is a pain. But still better than the fitbit
