Love the style of the Jawbone

I love the style of the Jawbone. The app was easy to download and easy to understand. The only problem that I've had so far is the app stopped syncing at one point and I had to uninstall and reinstall it. It has worked fine since then. I love the way it tracks my movements and sleep patterns and offers healthy suggestions. It doesn't always scan the barcodes for tracking food intake, but all in all I think it's an awesome product. I would highly recommend the Jawbone, especially to those individuals with "tiny wrists". The wristband is great for individuals that have tiny wrists and you don't have the access band hanging loose as you can see in the below photos.

I love my jawbone up 2. It's easy to use, not chunky, and keeps track of your activity. I also love the tidbits and helpful suggestions to make your day, life, and whole being better. I highly recommend using Jawbone products.

The appearance of this band is one of the main reasons I purchased it. I wanted to be able to track my steps both when working out and dancing the night away. The jawbone UP2 tracker is stylish enough to wear on all occasions. It is also lightweight and user friendly.

I have tried other brands prior to this band such as withings, garmin, and fitbit. Unfortunately none held up and broke down to wear and tear. This band I can size appropriately to my wrist and is small enough that it doesn't get in the way of my job and I'm still able to wear my watch (I work in the medical field). Would have gotten five stars if the app would alert me when the battery is low and needs a charge.

I bought this band instead of the more expensive ones. It works great with my android phone. It does not work with my surface pro. I think they are looking to upgrade to use a computer.

I got it for the sleep monitoring mostly. I think I should have spent the extra to get the up3 with the heart rate monitor. Thats the one I bought for my boyfriend and it seems that his is alot more accurate.

I bought this to help me be more aware of my daily steps. I peeked at online reviews just to see if people were greatly disappointed. I didn't read into the reviews at all. Once I started to use it, I love it! I don't know it's there, it sends notifications to tell me how many steps I am at during the day, you can track calories (which I was doing but during the holidays I decided no to), it monitors your sleep and tells you how long you've slept, how many times you woke up and for how long, and how much light and deep sleep you've gotten for the night. That is one of my favorite features. My only gripe is when trying to enter the food it is a pain. For example, broccoli. At the top of the list you would think they would have steam, roasted, frozen, etc--the most common ways it's prepared. You search and search for it. Luckily it saves so the next time you go and have an item you can pick it from the list before searching. And the battery? Lasts for days! You get a notification to charge it and it charges via adapter to a USB. I've had one software update and it was to done to better track your track steps. Overall, I'm very pleased with my UP and have recommended it to several friends. I bought mine after a friend bought one. Love it!

I liked this tracker, especially the fact that it's very small and lightweight without feeling chintzy. The app that goes with the Up products is great and I've tried it on both iOS and Android platforms. This tracker measures steps, sleep, you can log foods eaten, as well. It lacks in that there is no display to show much data on the device itself other than the 3 little icons that glow intermittently. It's great for what it does but there are more advanced trackers available.

if you're just new to the fitness tracker world i recommend. its stylish, tracks steps, sleep and calories, love the app as well. the only thing i wish it had was a face to tell the time and how many calories you've burned. if you're looking for a heart rate monitor look into the more expensive jawbone. overall i really enjoy it!

I have used Jawbone's UP2 Activity Tracker daily for over a month (as an Experticity gear tester), and feel it is a solid four star rating. + : Stylish design, uses minimal wrist real estate, easy adjustment, 5 day plus battery charge, simple to follow APP, does what it says it will - : Suspect band longevity, only splashproof-not waterproof, user still must input data in APP, tracks all activity movement as steps, addictive I enjoyed utilizing the UP2 and used it alongside a system I've been using for the past six years. I did get vastly different caloric usage numbers...and believe UP2 leans more to the accurate numbers. Like most activity trackers, the UP2 tracks steps, distance, idle time, active time, sleep, calories burned. You still must input specific workout, type of activity, intensity, food and beverage. If you enjoy technology, you can connect UP with over 50 apps and devices. You get a myriad of visuals with grids, graphs and breakdowns of activities, sleep and food consumption. A nice feature is the Smart Coach. Smart Coach prompts to log activities, creates challenges, offers encouragment to attain those challenges and gives congratulatory affirmation upon completion of those challenges. There are even "Learn More" tabs that redirect you to informative websites like Web MD. Note: If you are involved in paddle sport activities, this is splashproof, but not waterproof...and all paddle strokes will be counted as steps. Others have linked with other apps for cycling. So if you decide to attach the UP2 band to your ankle while cycling...it will log each revolution as a step. Personally, I enjoy leading an active lifestyle...but being a Type A personality, when I use training tools such as the UP2, I become addicted to logging more miles, more steps, more activity to meet all the challenges. So much so, that I find myself training through injuries or over-training. Moderation folks...use the tool, dont let it rule you.

Great change in style to the already very good device. Measures activity, I believe, very accurately when compared with Fitbit (another good device). would be 4 stars if you could read activity off the device instead of having to go into the app - BUT I new it was that way when I bought it and the accuracy outweighs the lack of display - also new style if much smaller and comfortable, clasp is much more secure.

The Up2 provides simple activity and automatic sleep tracking in a slim and fashionable design. The band has good battery life and can be worn in the shower. The Jawbone mobile app includes smart coaching and can be paired with many popular third-party apps.

I bought this for my wife, and it's really the best choice for a minimal, lightweight, stylish fitness bracelet. Pros: The battery life is great, it's comfortable and tracks steps accurately. Weaknesses: The clasp is hard to take off and put on, and the charging connector is finicky - it is easy to connect it wrong. Overall though, this deserves the four stars.

I bought this tracker after having the UP3 (the heart rate monitor didn't work as I liked so I thought I'd try a different model). By far, the best of the Jawbone brand. Only issue is the clasp comes loose easily so I've lost it a couple of times. It's also nice that it doesn't look like a tracker, much more fashionable. Totally worth the investment.

The band wears as if it is not even on your wrist. I keep it on daily and only take it off during showers. The battery seems to last about 7 days maybe a little more. I have worn this band in unison with the Fitbit, Microsoft band, and even the Apple Watch. This is by far my favorite due to the longer battery life and the basic tracking of steps, activity, and sleep. If it had GPS it would be untouchable. I also prefer this band strap over the original UP2 solid band strap.

Love the design which is great if you have a small wrist. Comfortable and very accurate. The only thing I would like to see improved is the food log. Not as easy to use as MyFitnessPal but it is a minor issue. The sleep tracker is very interesting and automatically logs your sleep if you wear all night. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Great App & Nice Style but Band Snapped

Got this for my wife who's into wearable tech. She was really bummed to see the strap broken today because she really loved this thing. We don't know how it broke but it was fine before she went to sleep last night. We don't have pets or kids that could have nibbled it, haha. Only had it for a few months and mainly to track walking routes & short runs with Runkeeper. Took good care of it, and even though it says its ok to shower with it, she always took it off. We were going to buy the same kind for her mom but it seems like this strap will eventually break. I guess the wider strap is the one from now on (especially if we're going to give them as gifts). Fun to track your steps and sleep. My husband and I use the duels feature to compete with each other. Pretty accurate unless you're pushing a stroller or doing spin class or something. It's pretty water tolerant- I only take it off to shower and swim. Gave 4 stars bc the straps are pretty suseptible to breaking, luckily the customer service is pretty awesome and they sent out a new one when mine ripped.

I was able to get my hands on one quickly and while I haven't had an opportunity to use it much yet - the design is simply amazing!!! Several people today commented on it and asked what it was. Compared to the Fitbit, it's dramatically different in size (which I had to shelve because I couldn't wear it all day and night). Jawbone solved the clasp issue on this version (I had issues with the earlier version of Up2) and the software now automatically transitions between activity and sleep (as opposed to having manually switch it). So far, it's off to a good start.
