I have had some bad luck with headphones in the past, but I have come across these JayBird - BlueBuds X Bluetooth headphones and I have to say not only is the quality, but the comfort and style of these headphones are just remarkable. At first it takes a little getting used to, but then once you own them and wear them in, they get to be really trendy. I love not having to pick up my phone to answer my calls. Bluetooth is the way to go.

Love to use these with my iPhone6+ and iPad Air. After figuring out which set of the provided ear "wings" to use and how to set them on the ear buds properly (there are instructions), these little gems have worked well. No extra cords to get in the way or to tether to a device. Great sound quality with little outside noise leaking through. Incoming calls transition flawlessly. I've used them in noisy international and domestic aircraft, excersizing, hiking and relaxing. The simple power/sound control on the cord works well. Wonderful compact pocket case and USB charging cord makes for easy packing. These Jay Bird BlueBuds are wonderful, exactly what I've been waiting for years to use.

After having tested and/or purchased 8-10 headsets over the years I was not expecting to find a pair of headphones that would fit all my needs. I wanted headphones that would be comfortable to wear for extended times, be able to stay in my ears during jogging or workouts, be wireless, not have any wires going under my chin or touching my neck, have decent bass, be in the ear style with noise blocking and of course be a good sounding. The Jaybird BlueBud X headphones have fit all my needs and I wear them to the gym 6 days a week and love them. I have them configured so that the connecting wire is over the ear and behind the head and in this setup I have the wire shortened with the connectors provided, and this lets me wear them with nothing touching my neck. I have never had luck with any other headsets staying in my ears that could also provide good sound blocking. These are light and stay in my ears with no problems at all. They hold a charge well and I just make it a habit to charge them 2x a week and I have never run out of power. Controls are simple to use. My only issue is that they are a little more expensive than I would like, but I have no remorse paying the price since they do fit all my needs.

Great headphones, first set of bluetooth stereo headphones and I think they are the best headphones I have ever tried. I run a lot and go through headphones very fast. Decided to try and get a set of BT headphones to eliminate wires and allow me to use my lifeproof case without breaking the seal. These headphones fit the bill, great sound, strong signal reception (with my GS3, I get clear signal from up to 30 feet). Highly configurable with over ear and under ear options. Headphones stay in when running (jogging to full sprints) without falling out. Option to shorten cord using the enclosed clips. Battery life as advertised, I get about 8 hours of use on a full charge. BT phone calls work great, the microphone picks up your voice even in the most noisy environments. The enclosed silicone tips are not the best, for me it was difficult to gain and maintain a solid seal. Purchased Comply aftermarket tips (pro comfort) which make these already great headphones even better. They come coated with a sweatproof system called liqipel out of the box and are guaranteed for life not to be damaged by sweat. Fit is great using the enclosed soft rubber honeycomb brackets, you have to experiment with different options until you get the fit dialed in. Once you do, you'll experience great sounding music wire free!

I purchased these primarily for working out and riding bike. I like the fact that they offered a wireless solution. Having never heard them, I assumed that I would sacrifice performance for the wireless. Bot was I wrong! These earphones have great low frequency performance and they are among the most comfortable that I have ever owned. With so many tip and insert options, I would imagine that there's a combination that will work for anyone. For me it was the small insert and the medium earphone tip. Now onto the convenience, these earphones have some incredible features. Theres a simple three button controller in the wire that allows you to control just about every essential iPhone function from volume to track to Siri. They also offer voice command for battery level and on / off. On top of all of that, these earphones are extremely light weight. You would expect the addition of Bluetooth plus the battery power would make them heavy and bulky but that couldn't be any farther from the truth. They are extremely light and comfortable. Battery life has been better than advertised too. Charging them is easy with the included USB cable. The cable is even a step above. It's short but very sturdy! These come in a great hard case with magnetic latch that can adequately protect them in most scenarios. Well worth the money!!!

I love these headphones. I used them about 6 times a week for about an hour and half each day during my workouts. These headphones have made me never want to use a wired pair of headphones again. I get about 6 hours of battery life before I have to charge them. I sweat all over them and haven't had any issues hearing the music. The headphones stay in my ears without any problems as well. I use the behind the neck style. I recommend these headphones to anyone who wants to get away from the Beats by Dre and into some real workout headphones. Jaybird has a lifetime sweat proof warranty. However, after 1 month of using them, my battery does not charge anymore and I will be getting them fixed from Jaybird. I have a friend who has used them for a year now and has not had any issues, so I must have just bought a faulty pair. Jaybird is replacing them though so that is good.

Excellent, clear sound with great tonal range for a bluetooth headset. I upgraded from an older LG HBS-700, and was absolutely blown away by the difference in sound. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the battery lasts many hours even considering how small the headset is. The rubber/silicon/whatever pieces that hold the earplugs in your ear are also surprisingly comfortable over long listening sessions. The use of micro-USB for charging is also convenient as most of my other devices use the same cable. These headphones are pricey, but well worth the cost if you've got the money to spare!

These thing are by far my favorite headphones I've ever owned! I had the JayBird Freedoms before these. I thought those were awesome...until I got these. You almost forget that you're wearing headphones because they're so small and lightweight. The battery life is almost double than that of my old Freedoms. I can get through a whole shift at work on one charge. The sound is really good especially considering the size of these things. You just have to make sure that you are wearing the right size tips. There are plenty of options as far as fit goes (especially under/over the ear options). The price is a bit high on these but I'd say it's totally worth it. My only nag about the headphones would be that I wish the charging cord could be wearable like an adjustable bracelet. It'd make it a bit more convenient to carry the cord than having to carry around the case with the cord.

I already owned a pair of Jaybird JF3MB Freedom bluetooth headphones that served me well for about two years. Unfortunately, I forgot to remove them from my pocket and after going through a wash and dry cycle, they were no longer working in stereophonic sound. I was bummed. I decided to invest in the Jaybird Bluebud X model and I'm glad that I did. While a bit pricey, in my experience, the Bluebuds deliver superior sound to the Freedoms. Both audio volume and quality is superior. The fit is great. I caution purchasers to take the time to ensure that you have chosen the correct ear canal tip and ear fitment flange by trying them all and deciding what fits and stays in best. I wore these earbuds during a marathon and never had to adjust them. I have gotten six hours of playback out of them and they were still going strong so I tend to believe the manufacturers 8-hour claims. I recommend!

I'm used to Beats by now, but my workouts include lots of jumping around / compound movements so traditional headphones weren't cutting it for me. My last pair I ripped on rowing machine. Given they are wireless the sound quality is great, just not as loud as Beats. What I love is they stay in your ear so you actually end up enjoying better sound quality because they stay in your ear. The comfort is superb, very light, and you almost forget you have them on. Charging is super easy and battery life is great. I recharge 2x / week.

This is a great product to have if you're an active person. I like to use this whenever I'm in the gym, and when I ride my bike to work. It's great not having the usual cord dangling from my ear down to my pocket and getting stuck on my handlebars or pinched between dumbbells. The sound quality is also great and the buds fit comfortably. If you're an active person who loves there music, I highly suggest these buds!

I purchased the JayBird Sprint last year and used them frequently. They are cheaper than the BlueBuds X, and seemed a little bulkier. (I actually didn't know that the BudX was available at the time as it wasn't displayed at BestBuy.) Having researched other BlueTooth buds, I learnt about the BudX and on a recent visit to the US, purchased a pair. (I was told by the sales assistant that the more expensive BudX is normally not displayed - I had to request for a pair at the store.) I now use both pairs frequently. My daily routine is 1hour walking the dog, followed by 2hours at the gym - with an hour cardio when the buds are used. 2hours daily, with probably another 1/2hour of in between use. No problem of running low or out of power. Both pairs are charged up in the evenings, ready for use in the morning. The BlueBudX is useful as calls on my iPhone can be retrieved at a press of a button, and the mike works perfectly even when positioned behind the neck. I am very satisfied with both sets, particularly the BudX which seems lighter and fits better. Sound quality is excellent for an "activity" bud. So far sweat and moisture from workouts, humidity, etc. doesn't seem to have affected the performance of either pair.

This is my second pair of Jay Birds. The first ones I had were the Jay Bird Sport. The Blue Birds are better in every aspect. I use them on my daily runs and the fit is excellent. The sound quality is superb, the Bluetooth never cuts out and the battery life lasts all week on one charge. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for awesome sound, good fit, and wireless head phones.

Some might say that the PowerBeats by Beats Audio sound a tad better. But thats only if all you listen to is Rap music or Dance music. The power beats have more bass. But if you're an audiophile and can distinguish good sound as opposed to lots of bass, then you'll be very pleased with these. Vocals are amazing and bass is well balanced so as not to over power the other instruments. Construction is top notch and they are very light. They won't fall out of your ears and you can wear them for hours...8 hours, because thats how long they will play continously. They are water resistant, meaning you can listen to music while riding your bike in torrential rain...but you can't swim underwater with them. Even if you could, bluetooth technology doesn't work under water. Like any ear-bud, they must seal tight in your ear canal to give you proper sound. If they don't fit your ear, you won't get the sound that these headphones can deliver. Most bad reviews on ear-buds come from people with weird ears..the kind that can't accept ear buds. I give these a 10 !

I have been back and forth with trying to find a pair of bluetooth headphones that would work well with my ears and my activity for what I want to use them. My ears don't seem to like any type of headphones and don't like to stay in when I am active. I had a pear of over ear that I bought 6 years ago that worked ok, but they would slide out of my ear every now and again, which is annoying when you are running or trying to work out. But I had paid, what back then seemed like a lot, quiet a lot for them and used them until they finally broke. Now with the way things are done I didn't know what to get or what to find. I tried ones that come with phones, ones that you buy on clearance, ones that are too big, too small and was frustrated that I wouldn't find a pair that would work with my ear. I asked around to a couple people, then posted on facebook to see if anyone else knew of a good pair to buy. People said to try the Beats powerbeat, but the thing with them (even though they are great earphones) they are not covered if you ruin them by sweating too much. They are not covered for that. Then someone said Jaybird bluebuds are covered for your lifetime against damage from sweat! But I was still worried about them falling out of my ears when I am active. I found them on sale so thought I would go ahead and try them. That plus there was a 14 day return policy so if they didn't work I would return them. I chose to do the over the ear with the headphones so that I could keep the cord off my neck. It took me a few tried to find out which set of ear tips and secure ear fit cushions worked best. I found that the small ear tips and the medium cushions were the best fit for me. I couldn't be happier with these headphones. I went for my first run with them and out of habit keep making sure that they stayed in my ear. After about 10 minutes of running I realized that I didn't have to do that and they were staying in without a problem. After my 30 minutes run, and 15 minute walk for a cool down my ears didn't hurt, and the earbuds stayed in... These are the best headphones that I have worn in a very very very long time!

I bought these to replace my Jaybird Freedom earphones that I bought several years ago. I have used them on several long runs and while working out without any problems. The sound quality is pretty good for the size of the ear pieces. It is not Bose quality, but you can hear it pretty well while running. They are a little expensive if not on sale, but they are worth the price to have the "Sweat" guarantee where Jaybird will replace them if they die due to sweat. I would recommend these to runners or people who move around a lot when working out because the sound quality is good and they stay in your ears well once you find the correct size cushions for your ears.

Ill start with didnt think I would like in ear vs. over. However, you forget theyre there and very comfortable in comparison. Sound quality is great & BT can go through walls if need be. I use them while running, so distance to my hip belt no issues. Take the time and fit your ear correctly and youll be extremely happy. I run a lot and far, therefore I sweat that much more. Love that these are protected from such issues, moisture, as I have run through cheaper over ear models without such. These are pricey, but I didnt feel like rolling dice on a pair I may replace then equaling the cost of these. On board controls work great, really easy to manipulate music que while running, volume etc... Only knock I have on them is deep bass, but not too many models like this will have anything better. BT connects to my iph instantly when i turn on from headset. So far I love. Couldnt ask for better for my application. Also, sound and feel dont wear on you the longer you have them on like most headphones ive had. Hope this helps.
