I bought the Jaybird brand because my husband likes his. I opted for complete wireless and he just has the Bluetooth ones with the cord connecting the two buds. These are cool little buds, good for working out without the bulk and the wires. They come with a few different tips to swap out. I have small ears so it took me a few tries to get the right combination. Now that I found it, these are perfect for running and they even stayed in during my boxing workout! I haven’t used them on a phone call yet so I can’t say how well they work with the phone. Musically these do the job. I just wish they could go a little bit louder that’s why I only gave 4 stars. Comes with a charging case that charges and stores them.

As far as earbuds these are worth every penny. I was sold on these because I could use them as a bluetooth and "switch" once the battery on one goes. Well not, it doesn't work. The one on left doesn't work if the right one is not on. So it is useless once the battery on the right is gone. It only last for 5 hours. So for a workout is plenty of time, not for a working day. The case for them charges them very quickly and it's very tiny and can fit in a pocket. But still I'm used to having my bluetooth on my left side.

As I sit here, listening to smooth jazz(with my new JayBird Run Bluetooth Headphones), and staring at my guinea pigs as they graze on a fresh bale of supreme Timothy hay, I can't help but feel that these headphones are also great for things other than running. Things like sitting. So there I sat. Here I sit. Even now. Frozen in time forever with my sick new headphones...

These are the best as far a comfort for working out. You hardly realize you've got them in your ears, and very light weight. I just wish you could pump the volume a little higher. But other than that, their awesome!

I'll start off by saying that I am not a fan of cordless earphones. I do not like the risk of them falling out and getting lost. With that being said, these wireless earbuds performed extremely well and exceeded my expectations. Here are some of the things I liked most: - The travel case is innovative. You get 4 hours of power for the earbuds, but the charging pod is small enough to fit in your pocket and can provide additional juice as needed - and quickly. The case is really cool, with LEDs on the outside to indicate charging. - Sound quality exceeded my expectations and rivals other mid to high tier brands. - The Bluetooth connection was excellent. I have several sets of earbuds that cut out here and there even when my phone is close. I did not experience any dropped audio, even when 15+ feet away from my phone with this set. - These Jaybirds come with 4 sets of fins and tips to make sure you can find the perfect fit for your ears. - You are prompted with power level info when turning the buds on. - It is very easy to pause and resume with a press to the right bud. - The left bud button allows for easy activation of your phone for voice commands. The only thing I do not like about these Jaybirds is the fact that they can too easily be lost. I'd rather have a small cord connecting them that you can clip to the back of your shirt. That is just a personal preference, however. If you are looking for truly wireless earbuds that perform extremely well, this is a great and affordable set.

A solid, quality set of headphones

I’ve had a real love-hate relationship with earbuds for many years now. They never seem to fit my ears right and even when they do, I don’t feel like I get the same sound experience that I do with a set of on-ear or over-the-ear headphones. Sound always seems to be hollow and without any bass boost. When wireless earbuds started coming to market, I sadly found something I disliked more than standard earbuds. Not only did they not fit or produce a solid sound, they also didn’t connect properly. One earbud would drop out sometimes and they just weren’t consistent. The Run true wireless sport headphones from Jaybird are a different breed all on their own. UNBOXING The headphones arrive in a well-designed kit. The box has Jaybird branding on it and a decent description of the product. Right away, you know that there is a mobile app experience designed for the headphones from the presence of the App Store and Google Play Store logos. In the box you will find several sets of ear gels and ear wings for earbud fit adjustments, a charging case for the headphones, a charging cable and case, a storage pouch, and the earbuds themselves. Setting up the headphones isn’t difficult. When you turn them on for the first time, they are automatically put into pairing mode. I paired them to my iPhone and they appeared in my Bluetooth menu automatically. The instruction booklet suggests that you try out all the ear gels and wings until you find the best fit for your size ears. I was fortunate because the stock gels and wings that came pre-installed on the earbuds provided a solid fit for me. USER EXPERIENCE The mobile app for the Run headphones provides some basic information about the headphones and gives users the ability to use preset sound profiles to get a richer sound. You can design your own sound profiles if you want and save them for future use. I rather like this customized sound option. There are some mobile apps that only allow you to listen to predesignated music options to get the added features, but no matter what you are using with the Jaybirds Runs, you can utilize the sound profiles on top of that. For the first time in a long time, I found a set of sport earbuds that are wireless that actually provide a good fit for my ears. I don’t feel like they are going to fall out of my ears and because they are solid in my ears, I get a better sound. One issue I’ve had in the past with earbuds that are a ‘tight’ fit is that they become uncomfortable. The Run headphones have remained comfortable and I’ve used them for a couple of hours at a time. The only aspect of these headphones I don’t like is the control system. You can, of course, use your mobile phone to control the volume and playback of music, but the in-line controls really come in handy in most cases. The Run headphones have buttons built into both earpieces. They are a hefty click-style button that requires you to press quite hard in order to engage the control. I found this nearly impossible when I had the earbuds in my ears. I had to take the earbuds out in order to click the button. Listening to music was a very nice experience and I can’t say that much for earbuds. I could hear everything in great detail and thought that the sound quality was superb. I had a little issue with watching streaming videos, but I think that had more to do with the Internet connection than the earbuds themselves. Even though I’m not typically an earbud user, I really appreciate the Jaybird Run headphones because they give you freedom when being active where a lot of headphones do not.

I’ll start by admitting I have a bit of a headphone/earbud addiction. The house contains probably fifteen or more sets of personal listening devices, ranging from over-the-ear, audiophile phones to ten dollar discount store throw-aways. I am always in search of that next “fix”, hoping for something that makes me go “wow, that sounds really good!” Having the opportunity to receive the Jaybird RUN wireless earbuds in exchange for a review was very interesting to me considering their MSRP. Going in, I was completely unfamiliar with the Jaybird name, and only after examining the very fine print on the package I saw that they are a Logitech product. This gave me higher hopes based on my experiences with other Logi products. These hopes were somewhat dashed upon my first listen…not much volume, very bright, thin sounding, and lacking any sort of punch. Downloading the iOS App to my phone opened my eyes to all of the customization available and while I would still like a little more bass punch, I was able to make adjustments that made an exponential improvement to the out-of-the-box sound quality and a substantial output in volume. Anyone not utilizing the Jaybird App is really shortchanging their listening experience. Besides an equalizer feature where you can save a variety of different settings, being able to change the functions of the buttons on the ear buds is also a welcome feature as I am not one to utilize Siri very often. The buttons on the buds (one on each ear piece) have good tactile feedback, are easy to access and operate as they should. The only drawback I can see is that you have to choose between having volume control or pause/play capability, you can’t have both at the same time. I’m very impressed with the fit and comfort of the ear buds and they remain firmly in place during activities. While I’m not a runner, I was not able to dislodge the buds by tossing my head around. I found the fins and tips that came installed from the factory to be a perfect fit for my ears, and the other sizes of fins and tips that are included should provide an acceptable fit for almost anyone. The USB cord that connects to the case is only 10 inches long but shouldn’t be much of an issue since USB ports seem to be everywhere in the modern world. The way the buds turn on or off automatically when removed from or placed in the case is a nice feature as is the auto off. It is very easy to return the ear pieces to their case in the proper orientation for charging. The case seems to be very well made and well designed and it incorporates lights to show charging status. Some people might be a little put off by the price, but considering that the box states “Designed & Built For Runners, By Runners”, I think the quality and feature set of the Jaybird RUN somewhat justify the price point especially when compared to the price of quality running shoes that will most likely have a shorter life span than the Jaybird does. I think people that are looking for ear buds to use during their workout activity will not be disappointed, while audiophiles looking for their “holy grail” of portable sound quality should probably look elsewhere. I would like to give them a full five stars, but the lack of bass and a price that will exclude some potential customers leaves me giving a four star rating.

I would love to give 5 stars but for some issuing I have experienced with I gave 4. Firstly these earbuds are high quality and has an app on smartphone (IOS, Android) where you can customize single press function on both sides like, skip, pause and receive and end calls.etc. It comes with native charging case in which you charge and save your buds provided with a 3 nice green LEDs indication charging level for the case as well as the buds. One issue is connection drops and cuts out even with placing phone in my palm!! Flawless fit but terrible connection , but I hope company can update the firmware to address this issue other than than its perfectly loved by me.

The Jaybird Run is a unique set of earbuds that seriously surprised me when using. I'm going to be speaking from my perspective of owning these. I used about 4 days straight running routes in the morning. I did hear that these earbuds had a lot of issues when connecting but I have literary experienced no technical issues such as disconnection. It could be a new and improved model Jaybird decided to ship out (?), but I have had NO issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Now that that is out of the way I want to talk about these awesome truly wireless earbuds. The design is nice and small. They are lightweight in the ear and holds inside the ear while running or jogging. these earbuds are very secure when placed so I'm not concerned about them falling out at all. I appreciated the way they are easy to put in a pocket and go. While yes it does feel a little "plasticky" that doesn't distract from the overall build of the earbuds, they seem like they are made to last. the earbuds itself are black and doesn't draw any attention too much aside from the jaybird logo which shines. Connecting them to a smartphone is as easy as you expect just connect and go, one of the coolest things with this earbuds is that they come with a charging case (AKA Apple earpod-like) and it works fine. Placing the earbuds into the case will charge up the headphones with the case small enough to throw into a pocket. its awesome in my opinion and want more OEMs to do this. They come with many ear tips to fit so you can find the correct size for yourself. Sound wise they sound incredible to say the lease, I was shocked at the amount of clarity and bass deep within the ear. mids and highs feel like they are good enough for an hour run but you can set it to your liking with the app. I really had no expectations with earbuds because I always found them lacking, but the Jaybird run changed that. You can download the app itself to make more bass/treble customizations to your jaybird's the app is smooth so good on Jaybird for this one. The wireless earbuds are sweatproof and water-resistant and in my test, they survived a light rain here in Chicago near the lakefront. Battery life is shocking good because it feels like they lasted longer than 4 hours. I was on a phone call (which also works well with) for about 5 hours on lower volumes. you can get 8 hours on the go with the charging case and 5 mins of charge give you 1 hour of playback so you can quickly charge before a run. There is also a button on each earbud so you can Pause, Play, Skip Track, and hold for voice assistant on Siri or Google Assistant. One of my dislikes is actually pressing the button on the ear as it pushes the earbuds deeper, I guess this can't be helped since mostly every true wireless earbuds have these issues. its just uncomfortable all around and the price you have to pay, My recommendation is to just use your phone or music player to change tracks. There isn't much to say about these earbuds, I love them. they sound premium with a good amount of bass all through it. Jaybird's work extremely well on the go. I saw some of the other reviews talk about disconnection issues but I had none on my 4 day run with these. I even test out the theory of the headphones being far away from the phone into another room but they didn't disconnect. So I'm not sure what is going on with others. I would still recommend these to people and especially to runners. It hits every checkbox you would want in truly wireless headphones while not being overly featured or overpriced. 4 out of 5 stars, I know Jaybird can make improvements to these in future models, but as of right now I love them.

After owning two other Jaybird headphones (X and Freedom), I was excited to use a truly wireless listening experience for workouts. All of the Bluetooth headphones I own use a wire to connect the left and right earpiece, and thus have a problem with me being able to hear the cord rustle behind my head or neck during exercising. Having two separate buds, minus the wire, creates a more comfortable listening experience, just as long as the signal is not interfered with. Setup The setup was easy. I charged the case with the headphone inside, fitted them to my ears, and connected to Jaybird RUN. I downloaded the Jaybird MySound app so I could customize the equalizer. Just make sure to save your settings, or they will revert back to “flat.” It is nice to know the saved equalizer setting is stored in the headphones, so if you connect to a different device, the sound settings are kept the same. Fit I was blown away by how snug the fit inside my ear was, without them sticking out or causing any discomfort. These are the best-looking truly wireless Bluetooth headphones. Even the Bose SoundSport Free seems bulky compared to these (see picture comparing the two). Sound I was expecting these to compete with the Bose SoundSport Free in terms of sound, but unfortunately they were not as good. Even though I used the equalizer to try to make them sound better, I was unable to obtain the rich sound I received from Bose. Connectivity I did have some trouble keeping a solid connection when I was out in public, but at home I did not experience any problems. If you keep your phone close by, you should not have any connectivity issues. Also I should mention the earphones power down if not used after 30 minutes, which interrupts the Bluetooth connection. Just to compare, the Bose SoundSport Free did not have any issues with connectivity and never powered down. Pros Noise isolating Comfortable fit/Low profile Equalizer in App Cons Sounds a little hollow Connectivity Conclusion Jaybird has done a fantastic job at making a truly wireless Bluetooth headphone look great, but the sound isn’t quite as amazing. I would recommend these to someone who likes a clean look without earpieces protruding from their ears, does not want to spend over $200, and doesn’t mind less-than-full sound. I look forward to seeing what Jaybird has in store for the future.

This pair of wireless headphones are my first. With that being said, I am happily surprised with their features but am not too impressed with their sound quality. Having no wires is amazing. These headphones deliver on comfort, and even though they are tricky at first to get to "stick" in your ears (rotate counter clock wise for right, clock wise for left) they still stay in place regardless of how much my head was moving. The companion app that can be downloaded to monitor and alter sound profiles and change the functionality of each headphone's side button is pretty beneficial as well. They also come in a small charging dock that doubles as a carrying case that lights up to display if the headphones are charged. In the box, I was provided with multiple ear phone sizes and outer ear fittings, a carrying purse and a charging cable. One area that i with would have delivered higher would be the sound that pumps out of these headphones. There is little to no base, regardless of which sound profile i set to my headphones (driven via the app). Although I was not expecting super strong base, these simply fell short. Overall, I'd recommend these headphones due to the fact that the convenience factors (companion app, wireless, sound profile adjustability) of these outweigh the lack of sound quality.

For a year and a half, I have been using the Sol Republic Amps Air during work... I love the compact and comfortable design without the wires... I always been a fan of the Jaybird brand, so when they dropped the RUN True Wireless buds, you know I had to cop it. For me, comparing the fitment of the Run to the Amps Air, the Jaybirds seems to feel heavier but sits very comfortably in the ear. It has this sucked into feel when you're applying them in. Slightly bigger but there's one key feature that I do like about the Jaybirds, one touch Siri button. It makes things alot easier when you're in a active environment. I haven't had any issues with these buds dropping out of the ears. Sound quality is good (I prefer the Sol Republic Amps Air sound quality), but there's an app where you can change the EQ to your liking. Now, I have noticed what others have been mentioning about the connection issues... there are random times where the Jaybirds would auto connect without you noticing till you realize that you don't hear anything. Maybe it's the way they sit in the charging case. The Amps had this very issue too before I had it exchanged. All in all, this is a solid first try at truly wireless ear buds for the wireless future! :D

I have had my share of headphones, from $5 generics to Bose and my favorite pair before these were a pair of wireless Jaybird headphones almost identical to these, just connected to each other by a small wire. I loved them but do a lot of physical work in the yard or garage and the wire would often get caught on my shirt or a piece of equipment. When I saw these, I had to have them. They fit comfortably and dont fall out, they sound great, but the features are even better. You can customize and control sound using the Jaybird app and even find where the last place you were connected to them with your device in case you misplace them. The charging case is very convenient and allow multiple charges of your headphones with one full charge of the case. Now there are only 2 reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. 1)While you can pause, play, and skip by pushing the earbud, there is no volume control besides from the device you are using. 2)When you set them down for a while outside the case and they turn off to save battery, I have had some difficulty connecting them both back up without putting them in the case, closing it, and then opening it and taking them back out (this auto powers them back on and connects them again). This might just be user error and not being familiar with them.

I got the Jaybird Run to use as a backup pair since I'm always forgetting to take my Apple Airpods to work with me or I leave them at work and forget to take them home. Using the Jaybird app allows me to customize the sound to my liking for any particular type of music I am listening to. The earbuds come with 4 different sizes of ear tips and fins to keep the buds securely in my ears. The charging case is a little large to carry in my pocket but connects to my computer using the included Micro-USB cable and charges the ear buds pretty quickly. My only complaint about the unit is I can't crank the volume up quite as loud as I would like. That's not a problem if I'm just sitting or walking but I usually like to listen to something while mowing the lawn or using my snowblower and it just doesn't go loud enough for my taste. Other than that I am enjoying them very much.

Fits in my ears great, reasonably comfortable. Sound is very good. These seal well. Some running ear buds you can hear the wind whip by. Not these - so be careful when you run. My running app doesn't come thru the ear buds very well - partial updates as the ear buds lag and only part of the message comes thru. Not a big problem for me. I just look at my watch for pace and distance. The pluses are the sound and I can wear a stocking cap as the ear buds are in the ears and not stick a half an inch out like some others. no issue lasting fours hours - the longest I have used them continuously and the case will charge them if your not able to plug in. For the price I think they are well worth it.

Pros: True wireless design Premium feeling charging case with several charges worth of battery Google assistant/siri button on left bud makes hands free usage easy They're visually appealing, and in my opinion better looking than airpods They sound great They feel secure when they're in your ears Sweatproof/water resistant Cons: Uncomfortable without comply tips (for me at least) Expensive 4 hour battery life feels a little short if you use them for long periods of time These earbuds are pretty awesome. First off, they look great. They fill up your ears, but you don't get that doofy bit hanging out of your ears like you chopped off the cord of some average apple earbuds. In the week that I've owned them, I've gotten a ton of compliments about them, and more than a couple of people asking me about them. So if you're wanting some stylish buds, these are for you. The charging case feels premium, contains a battery that can provide you with multiple charges without plugging it in, and has a couple of LEDs that indicate whether or not your buds are fully charged, and which one is still charging if you use one more than the other. Making calls on these things is a little odd, as the right bud is the only one that plays the call, even if you have both of them in. Personally it doesn't bother me, I just found it a little odd. I will say that they have a killer feature that I don't see often where they will playback sound captured by your mic while you're using it, so you can hear yourself speak. It's a small thing, but it makes phone calls and using google assistant/siri so much easier, since you don't feel like you have to yell to be heard. Honestly, when I'm on the phone, the only hint that I have something in my ears is the person's voice playing into my right ear. The pairing process is pretty much idiot-proof. You literally just pull them out of their charging case, search for them on your phone, press connect and you're done. I was up and running within one minute of opening the box. As for post-pairing usage... as long as your phone has its bluetooth on, all you have to do is pull them out of the charging case, and they automatically turn on and connect. Keep in mind though, that the right earbud is the primary, so if you only want to use one earbud to keep an open ear, you have to use the right one. It's not much of an issue for me, but for some it might be. As for functionality, each bud has a button on it, the right bud is your standard contextual play/pause/answer call/end call, and if you double click it it will skip to the next song. Your left bud controls google assistant and siri. I haven't played with this yet, but supposedly the jaybird app allows you to customize your button layout, but the default setup is intuitive enough that I feel no need to. All that fancy stuff is nice, but at the end of the day, in-ear headphones need to fulfill two criteria... they need to sound good, and feel good. As for sound, they sound pretty incredible out of the box. They have a good amount of bass while still maintaining clarity in the mids and highs. I upgraded from a cheap pair of skullcandies, and I realized how crappy my mp3 recordings actually were. (I have a lot of songs obtained from the limewire/napster days, as well as a few I downloaded from youtube, and these are the first earbuds that have really shown me all the compression artifacts that infest those recordings. At first I was worried it was the earbuds, but after listening to a song that was a FLAC, and several songs on pandora, that worry went right out the window. These are seriously the best sounding earbuds I've ever owned. As for comfort... this one is a lot more subjective, as my initial experience with them was pretty negative if I'm going to be completely honest. While they definitely stick in your ears, and feel secure, I found that no matter which fin or eartip I put on, the right bud just kept hurting my ear after using it for longer than an hour. I was pretty bummed out, and thought about returning them, but I decided to try buying some comply tips before doing so, as I loved everything about these buds, and didn't want to give up so soon. After replacing the tips with comply foam tips, I was in love. I leave the right bud in almost all day, and were it not for the music playing into my ear, I'd likely forget it was there. If you have smaller ears like I do, invest in some comply tips, and these will feel great. Bottom line: These are great true wireless earbuds, they sound way better than the airpods, have better functionality, look better, and once I put on the comply tips they felt more comfortable than the airpods too. If you don't care as much about the true-wireless aspect of them, it may behoove you to save some money and get the Jaybird Freedom 2s, as they're only 99$, but you sacrifice the true wireless feature in lieu of a single wire between them.

Bought these for my walks, runs and while I'm playing tennis and just hitting the ball around. Sound quality is good and is better enhanced by the Jaybird app which allows you to tweak and fine tune the sound to your liking. They fit relatively good in my ears and aren't overly bulky. These are the first wireless headphones that I've been able to keep from falling out of my ears. The Bluetooth connection can break up if your phone/device gets obstructed by your body or other objects. The main link between the headphones and your device is the right ear bud. As long as I keep my phone on my right arm, or in a waist pouch and somewhere near the right side of my body, I have zero bluetooth issues. So far I really like these headphones and don't regret the purchase.

I really liked the Jaybird Run XT headphones for several reasons. They had the best fit for my ears out of all the wireless headphones I've tried, battery life was fantastic, and the sound quality was great. Sadly I had to return them for one reason: the pairing process. The right headphone is considered the "master," which means it pairs to your mobile device and then the left headphone pairs to the right one. Of course this means you can't just take the left one out by itself and use it solo. This was an unfortunate choice on Jaybird's part, and one that cause me to return an otherwise perfect pair of headphones.

My husband has always had difficulty finding earbuds that he really loved. These fit perfectly in the ear securely with no issues. We did have some connectivity problems, but I believe they were as a result of his iPod and not the Jaybird Run earbuds. Would definitely purchase these again.
