Great product, bad fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Summary says it all, but here's my full review... I work outside and run loud equipment for 8+ hours every day. Something that suppresses sound is therefore very important, and these did that exceptionally well. The foam tips worked much better than any silicone I've used before, but I regularly had to take them out to hear coworkers and clients, so I had to stick with the easier and faster to put in silicone. The silicone, however, did not stay in my ear well, and required the ear wings or whatever they're called. Those caused a problem. To get a comfortable fit, I needed the medium buds and wings, but to get good suppression I needed the large buds. Either way, the wings were painfully uncomfortable. And when using the medium, I lost all of the low end of my sound along with suppression. Sound quality, when dealing with the discomfort, was outstanding. I listen to reggae, and I heard sounds from every range that I'd not heard before, and at every volume level it stayed consistently clear. Of the 4 bluetooth headsets I've tried in the last month, these were by far the best sounding. I found there to be a lack of functionality with these. I couldn't use voice commands on my phone. I couldn't use tts either, which was a drawback for me. Controls were iffy, sometimes I could use the buttons on the X2 but a lot of times I had to get my phone out to start music or change tracks. Answering a call is the only function that worked with consistency. Battery life was overestimated at 8 hours. I was lucky to get 6 hours on a single charge, but I run my headset almost nonstop for my full workday. If you're only using these for a few hours at the gym or on the trails, there's more than enough juice to get you thru, but prolonged play time will leave you short. All in all, it is a good headset, but is overpriced (at $150 USD) when considering the others I tried were between $50 and $100. If you have the money to spend and they fit you, they are still a very good product. I'd have stuck with them if not for the fit issues, I can work around the lack of functions but not the pain.

Superb!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My journey started off with the Bluetooth JBL earbuds... they were great... but once I upgraded my phone they kept disconnecting. So I decided to start browsing... all I heard was go with the Beats 2... so I did, they were awful. They hurt my ears, the bass sucked and I returned them. This was my next shot... they sound great, I love that they come with foam tips. The fit is great and sound is awesome.

A good choice for workouts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reviewed 6-7 different earbuds. After reading other reviews and getting recommendations from people at my club I settled on the X2. After two weeks here's my review. My main concern was sweat. These handle that very well. They stay in place and don't hold moisture. Took me a couple of tries to get the right fit between the s/m/l buds. I'm over 6 ft but the small fit the best and blocked out the most noise. Second was sound quality. I do a lot of music recording and have very high end equipment so I was very realistic about what to expect. No bud or Bluetooth device is going to recreate a full spectrum of sound. Bass is nominal, the mids are ok and the highs are good. I downloaded an equalizer app that allows me to boost both the bass and level out the mids and highs. With that its a pretty good sound. I'm 62 so everything I listen to is classic rock so that works very well for those recordings. Classical, hip hop and Latin are mixed differently so can't speak to that, though any equalizer can help there. Weight is good, barely feel them on my head. As with any set there is "cord drag" noise. This is the noise that is made when the cord rubs against your clothing. This was pretty bad until I set up the buds in the "s" shape behind my head. Went to zero after that. Paired instantly with my iPhone 6. Bounces and skips are better than what I get on the stock Apple buds. The range is very good. I can walk around the house and in the yard its 35-40ft. I haven't been able to get the 8 hrs of run time they mention. More like 6.75-7, but it charges so fast that hasn't been a problem. Only taken a couple of calls with them and the callers heard me fine and me them. Siri works fine. Forgot the main reason I went wireless. I was soooo tired of the cord catching on equipment and having the buds ripped out of my ears! Also, on the treadmills & ellipticals several times the cord sent my phone flying so I had to have the phone in a pocket, which I hated. All gone now! If you buy go on their web site, very helpful videos. The charge cord is really short <6". That and the run times is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I'm happy with my purchase. I'll be even happier if they are still working a couple of yrs from now!

Hands down, best Bluetooth buds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these wireless ear buds over a week ago and I love them. I use them working out, biking, motorcycle riding, and at my leisure. They fit great and they stay firmly in your ear. They have several options to make sure you have a perfect fit. I can't believe how awesome the sound that comes from these buds. I wasn't sure if they could produce the bass I desired because I've purchased a couple of other buds that failed at reproducing the best sounding bass. These buds hold a long charge, I use them for about a coupe hours a day and I've charged them once. They're light, comfortable, and sound great. If you want great sounding wireless buds that fit great and easy to use, pick these bad boys up and you won't regret it.

Not What I was Expecting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had read alot of reviews and viewed several on youtube...all with great reviews. So, I was very excited when I made this purchase. When I opened the package I was a little taken that it did not have instructions or a manual instead it referred to their website...no biggie. I linked the headset and starting listening to music at home. The sound was great and I tried different types of songs from Rock, Techno, Dance. to Hip Hop to clear the bass, clarity, and quality. It all sounded very good. Now, onto the workouts. I enjoy running so I was really looking forward to trying this on one of my runs. I hate the cables on the non wireless head sets. I ran in a park which was open and had some wooded areas. During the run I noticed that the faster I would go or the windier it got the more noise the head set would make with the wind. This started to drown out the music. It almost sounded like I had a cheap pear of head sets on. This was very disappointing. I also crossift but did not get a chance to use it in a WOD or other workout as I returned this item the next am. For the cost I was very very disapointed in the ability to use it outdoors on a run. I am sure it would be great to use it in a WOD or other type of high intensity workout where you would want to place your ipod or any music player somewhere other than on yourself. The good though is that if you are not running outside it does sound great but not for this price. You can get a good wired head set for much less and great sound.

WOW!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never wanted to spend over $100 for headphones but so glad I did! The packaging, the online video instructions, the case that was included, the way they fit and the sound quality were all beyond what I expected. And a lifetime warranty! Especially compared to the competition- these are great!

Good but a little overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds Sound quality is good, range is normal for bt, foam tips wear out too fast but are comfortable and keep buds in place without the wings attached, wings were uncomfortable to my ears despite trying every size and position after wearing for an hour, do not know about swear proof, single charge lasts about 8 hrs constant use, my opinion is they are overpriced

Good but one small issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is very light weight and the sound is great but the piece that helps hold the bud in the ear rubs the ear raw after only 30 minutes.
