The X3s offer great sound quality, and have a very reasonable price. Also the app, that you can download, give you great control over the sound profile of the headphones!

    Great Earbuds; Tricky Fit

These earbuds have a great sound and include several options for the ear inserts. That said, be prepared to take an undisturbed break to get the right fit. You have the option to wear these with the cord draped around your neck, but the best fit for walking or riding a bike or light exercise is to use the included clips for these to fit snuggly to your head. If you do it right, they should stay in place with the selection button module on the back of your head, buttons facing out. Unfortunately that configuration puts the mic away from your face, making phone call volume difficult for the other party.

Once you get the right fit among the different earbud options these provide a comfortable and secure fit while working out. It is a must to download and use the accompanying app as the sound really comes to life when you use a profile that fits your listening preferences. While the battery doesn't quite make it to 8 hours (probably because I listen with a lot of bass and volume being in noisy environments), I have consistently been able to use them for 6+ hours with a full charge.

Pros: The sound on these headphones is great and you can download an app to customize the sound to your liking (e.g. bass). They are also very comfortable and do not fall out of your ears when you have them in. I used them for the gym and they were great. Cons: I only gave them 2 stars, however, because the sound lags A LOT when you are trying to watch videos on your phone. I couldn't watch YouTube videos, Netflix, etc. My fiancee has the Freedom 2's and did not notice this problem. Might be the headphones or the fact that I have a different phone than him, but I doubt it. (I have an Iphone 7, he has an Iphone 6s) Also, I had initially got them because my fiancee recommended Jaybirds and his Freedom 2's have an external battery that you can clip on and charge the headphones while using them, but these did not. I was very disappointed about the removal of this feature.

The only reason I can still write this review is due mainly in part from the earbuds themselves keeping my grey matter in tacked after the sound blew my mind!!! The only problem I have with this setup is I no longer want to hear reality via normal fidelity....

I've been looking for bluetooth headphones that fit these criteria: - Lightweight/Good Fit - Affordable - Sound Quality After purchasing these, I found: - Great fit. They include several accessories for different ear sizes/types. These also have a great design where you can loop them over your ears. Great for workouts, running, etc. They also have a nice design to keep the cord snug behind the neck. - I think the price would've been reasonable if the sound and mic quality were decent. - I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, but the sound quality was lacking. They have a companion smartphone app you can use to adjust levels, and that helped some, but not enough. The app's decent. The biggest issue was the mic quality. With the over-the-ear design, the mic actually ends up behind your head. When I received phone calls, I had to take off one earpiece and loop it around, so the mic was closer to my mouth. Even then, it was difficult to hear. I had my wife wear these, and I called her to hear the experience, and it's terrible - staticy/crackly and distant. I decided to return these because they just weren't worth it for the cost. If they were $40 cheaper, I'd keep them.

I'm a street and treadmill runner. I have followed the instructions and watched youttube instructions. I have read the forums and no matter what I do or how I adjust them, they will fall out. They don't last either. I had a pair that lasted, at max, 3 months. A left earbud has gone out and then it stopped charging. a second pair stopped charging after a month. a third pair stopped charging after 3 months. Both ear pieces went out a month after I received my fourth pair. That's right 4 pairs. I bought my first pair from Best Buy the MFG replaced the first pair with a new one, a process that took almost two months. the tech support is horrible. when the second pair went out they told me that I was out of warranty and will not replace my second pair because my warranty started when I purchased my first pair. Instead, I bought pair 3 and 4 from Amazon. I created a return request 2 to 3 weeks after receiving them and returned the defective set for a refund. currently my fourth set is no longer working and I am currently waiting for my 5th set to arrive from Amazon to repeat the return cycle. At least they sound good...
