I did quite a bit of research before buying this product and feel that it was a good price for great sound. My family is very happy with this soundbar and subwoofer. Theater quality and feel. Remote could be more responsive and setup was tricky (but more about available TV hookups than product). Sound itself is great, so 5/5.

I made an impulse purchase because this soundbar was on display, and it was also a "deal of the day." I was skeptical at the time, because it was so deeply discounted. However, I was really impressed with the ease of setting it up, as well as the quality of sound that it produced. I highly recommend this system!

Looked at so many sound bars just wanted the right one for my tall ceilings, this JBL is awesome, bass, BT, impressed my friends and I love it.

When most people buy an entry level or mid level soundbar and sub combo the first thing they usually notice after hook up is the lack of good quality bass. Fear not, the JBL 3.1 is the cure for what ails you. The voice quality from the highs is a game changer if you've been listening to your TV's built in speakers. The 10" sub is excellent in every way. Room shakin' bass if you so desire with zero distortion or if that's too much for you it is fully adjustable so you can turn the bass down (wimp). All in all if your looking for a good soundbar set up then go buy one of the other guy's entry level..but if your looking for great sound with awesome bass then this JBL 3.1 is what you want.

I bought this on Black Friday and I was amazed at the sound quality. The woofer is huge! I have a one bedroom apartment and it’s perfect for the living room. The bass is strong and the surround effect is nice for the living room. It isn’t surround sound but it does feel like you’re at the movie theatre.

The volume and bass are exactly what we wanted. The 3.1 is a little misleading though. The center channel is still within the bar so you don’t get the same experience as having true L/R/C speakers but for the price it’s an amazing sound bar. Only regret is not getting the 5.1 as the Best Buy we went to didn’t have it so we didn’t know it was a thing.

I purchased this sound bar about two years ago and have been really satisfied with its quality. It was extremely easy to setup and connect with my TV. The subwoofer provides good bass, though I have just started to notice that it easily picks up interference from nearby electronics. Overall, great product and value.

JBL stuff is amazing! My car has a JBL system.and it sound phenomenal! Also got the wireless ear buds which are great as well figured I'd give this a try as the wattage on then sub impressed for the price and was far more than other systems in the similar price range. The bass is awesome! Consolidated from a 7 speaker (2 towers, center, book shelf and surrounds plus sub polk speakers / pioneer receiver system) to this bar and sub combo. Love the bass. Not as loud as the old system but sounds good enough. The bar is crisp. One down side to the old system was trying to find the sweet spot between hearing the voices and hearing the lows for music / sound effects etc. No messing around with this system. Vocals are clear and bass is there when needed with just factory settings. Connected to my samsung TV no problem and the wireless sub is perfectly in sync. Occassionally with netflix or disney plus I'll hear a flapping noise periodically but only occurs with those apps. Nothing else. Very please for a sub $300 system.

We love our speakers! We weren’t looking to spend as much as we did but when we heard the sound on this, we had to buy it! We feel like we are at the theater when we watch tv! Great buy! The only downfall is that we can’t connect the sound bar to our tv remote so we have to use two remotes.

Great sound quality, tons of bass from the 10” woofer. Super easy using ARC. Great choice!

I love Samsung products and was going to use a Samsung soundbar with the newly purchased 4K TV I got. However my wife has a JBL bluetooth speaker for her phone and the sound and bass on it is INCREDIBLE! So wedecided to get this sounbar systemand couldn't be any happier! It sounds amazing! Mounts to a wall easily and is easy to set up.

This is an excellent system with plenty of sound. I am blown away by the amount of sound and the quality of sound for the price I paid. This replaced a full 5.1 system and I don't miss it one bit. LOTS of bass and sounds great with music and movies. Don't regret this purchase one bit.

I'm so impressed with this soundbar. The sound is so crisp and rich that you would think you are listening to a thousands of dollars piece of equipment. The bass is amazing. I would recommend to anybody looking for a great sound without breaking the bank.

i review this after 2 years of owning the product. The sound is amazing great bass easy to connect. The only bad thing ill say is that sometimes if you are using cell phone Bluetooth and you are in another room the connection might drop. I would def love to have a newer model .

Bought this for my Sony flat screen tv. Tv had pretty low sound quality and need to get sound bar. You don’t have to do Sony to Sony products. I read a bunch of reviews and this one seemed like the most bang for your buck. Haven’t been disappointed. Great sound and super easy to set up. Would definitely recommend.

250 dollar sound bar fills the room. Woofer vibrations only felt in that room. Retired couple small hearing loss, works well.

Sick of looking at speakers on stands with my old Sony 5.1 surround sound I decided to upgrade to a new sound bar and sub. This JBL system was the ticket, great sound and a ton of bass out of the sub. The sound is much better than I thought it would be and actually blows my old surround sound away.

I purchased a 55" 4k TV on black Friday for around $250, and it was clear that when buying cheaper TVs like this, the biggest corner that manufacturers cut is on the sound quality. I purchased this to counteract this deficit and I was BLOWN AWAY. The 10" sub shakes my entire apartment and the sound quality from the soundbar is crystal clear. I would recommend buying this for home theaters but also even just getting it to use the Bluetooth function and play music from it. Music sounds insane- almost like a car stereo for your house, plus a booming subwoofer. I have had subs in my truck in the past, and this sounds similar to my old 13" JL Subwoofer. If the level is too high for some people, it is also super easy to just turn it down from the controller too- so no worries. I have never even turned it up all the way because I feel like if I tried to see how loud it can get then my neighbors would hate me. lol
