Ive actually never been to best buy to buy any products before but with the helpful customer service i had received when i purchased this in store I most definitely would go back..So, Thanks Best Buy for your help. Excellent sounding Soundbar! Great bass from the subwoofer with 5 levels of boom. Easy to setup for TV, game systems and Bluetooth from phone as well. Very loud for a bedroom setup but is perfect for movies and gaming.

The subwoofer is very very bassy and clean. This soundar set is very nice and all around clean sound.

Easy to set up, the remote for it seems made of a bit of cheap plastic, however this doesn’t bother me. The Bluetooth is nice, with the Dolby Atmos sound! The sound quality of this sound bar is absolutely amazing and I truly cannot watch tv with out this on. The subwoofer makes Tv/movies/gaming very more intense and interesting with the powerful bass that comes with it! The only problem I have is I can’t get mine to connect to JBL APP

Haven't had the system long but coming from an few yr old hisense bar and woofer this is amazing. Gets pleanty loud but voices still come through clear. The dolby atmos def makes a difference. Sounds like there are rear speakers with some content. That being said if u do have rear speakers already im not sure if it would make that big a difference but still def worth the money and sounds great. Bass is also pretty dern good. Can feel the sound which to me is a must.

Excellent sound. Side speakers are almost as as good as rear. Easy control and setup. The bass is the best part of this. If you like a heavy rumble during action sequences you want this. You can manually toggle the base punch from one to five. You can manually toggle the base punch from one to 5. 5 is a bit too much for me, but it’s excellent overall. Great item, the woofer cabinet is big but worth the lunch.

Great sound bar, looks sleek, easy to set up. Sounds quality, for a sound bar, is fantastic. Yes a proper receiver and full surround system will be better but for a low profile solution to stick in a room that gets a lot of traffic this still sounds very good. Volume buttons integrated with my Google TV remote just fine. Also, i really like that the app didn't require me to make another account. It's an option, of course, but you can also just use it locally without logging in at all. You can even activate the casting features without a login (obviously you'll need a login for whichever cast service you use). This might not effect sound quality but it's such a welcome rarity in products these days I felt the need to give JBL huge kudos on that one and it'll keep them at the top of my list for connected audio in the future. At sick of needing a new account for every product.

The name says it all! Atmos...great quality and pure clean sound. Sounds like you're at a movie theatre. Clear and crisp.

This was recommended by my best friend in Minnesota- This has a LOT of bang for the buck! With that being said this is the second JBL unit I’ve had in the past week. The first one the bass was excellent but the bar didn’t work after calibration. I returned it within 2 hours and tried to “exchange “ for the same model the CS agent said there were no more in stock, even though the app said there were several. I accepted the refund and went home to order Sonos Arc Ultra to be delivered 2 days later, today is the day it was to arrive and this morning I received a message saying it couldn’t be delivered until January 12 (today is 12/29) so I went to the store and saw several Arc Ultra’s on the shelf I purchased this system online as soon as I heard the order wouldn’t arrive for almost 2 weeks. So far I like this system and am saving over $1000 so I highly recommend this over the Sonos only because Best Buy severely dropped the ball. I’ll be making a payment to my credit card on the Sonos before it even arrives. SMH (oh I can’t cancel the order until it arrives now because it has “shipped “) so with a delay in refund of up to 5 business day's after return that means it will be almost 3 weeks before I get a refund from the date purchased.

After nearly a year with this sound bar, I still am happy with the purchase, but annoyed with the quirks. Pros: - Great sound - Ease of setup - App for adjusting sound profiles, calibration, other settings - Price Cons: - Loves to randomly go into standby mode, seems almost app specific. Tends to do it most while watching Max - Would like to find more diagnostic information specifically to troubleshoot oddities. I’m about to try digging into different options like disabling CEC and perhaps switching to Optic cable, but I purchased this unit to specifically get away from multiple cables. There’s plenty of people having similar issues, with no solid fix.

Great sound, bass is audible on the 2nd floor of a house

Got 2 days ago. installation was simple, subwoofer just connected, used phone app to connect to wi fi and it automatically updated. used HDMI and it connected and started. ONLY issue so far was in the morning I had to unplug and restart for it to start producing sound again. The bass sound was very strong, 5 levels and with the movie I picked was still hard to hear voices at level 1, so had to use phone app to increase treble and decrease bass, this fixed the problem and I still got very strong bass at level 5 using button on remote control. nice sound, lots of volume that fills room. one feature I wish it had, is to tell me if its using Atmos or Dolby? my old stereo would indicate which sound feature was active. The universal tv mount was much harder to install. very happy with bar.

Prior to purchasing this soundbar, I purchased a Samsung Q60CC after exhausting research of different sound bar models under $600. The Samsung sound bar itself was nice and clear, but had near zero bass, low and mid coverage severely lacking. It essentially sounded like a several tweeters that could get really loud. I returned the Samsung and bought this JBL sound bar and it was an excellent decision. The soundbar sounds fantastic and the 10” sub has the low frquenices covered very well. Watching anything at vokume level 10-12 is very good, a movie at 20-22 is a cinematic experience, down to very low frequency, couch vabrating response. I may even warn apartment users that this may bother your neighbors. I only have one complaint, no matter what I play and what i play through(roku, steaming apps, 4k player) the soundbar will not switch on Dolby Atmos, display reads “unsupported”. It really doesn’t bother me though, beacuse it sounds great a truly does deilver 3D Room filling sound.

Cannot believe how good the quality is for an “entry level” sound bar! We feel like we are in the front row of a concert or a movie right at home.

Purchased this when it was on sale. The set up process was pretty easy. It has an app where you can fine tune how you want it to sound. You can use the speaker independently of the tv. So you can stream Bluetooth or Spotify directly to it without turning on the tv. This is a 5.1 surround sound bar. Up close you can definitely notice the surround sound. But once you move about 10 feet back it becomes hard to notice that the sound is coming from different directions. Because it’s all in one bar, you can’t space out the side speakers like a proper 5.1 system. The subwoofer is really good and it does a good job only sending the lower frequencies to the woofer and keeping the voices in the soundbar. The subwoofer is wireless, just needs power. The soundbar works with digital optical or hdmi arc. It also comes with mounts if you want to mount this on the wall. It’s a great bar for normal set ups. And an entry level 5.1 system.

Amazing sound and deep but not overwhelming bass. I’m using this in my living room.

I'll give 5 stars for it's awesome sound. The bass shakes my couch when cranked to level 5, the highest. It did work essily with my samsung s95d through the eARC. The app for this has an equalizer...kinda rudimentary but allowe low mid and high adjustments. My only complaints are each time it starts up it is in it's smart mode...i like it off abd there is a way to turn it off...but each time...kind of a pia...also one time it lost communication with my tv and i had to unplug it then it was fine.
