I purchased this speaker for the time being while i wait for the Charge 5 to be released. The price is steep, but the sound quality backs it up. The bass is better than expected, and i expected it to be very good. Have used it every weekend, mostly outside in the woods. You wont be disappointed!

Was looking for a bluetooth speaker out of the norm. Something with a little more bass and volume. This speaker is very loud and the bass is nice and clean. Even at low volumes you can hear the bass clearly.

I use this Boombox everytime I barbecue and it sounds so good! I've had it for over a month and it gets me so into my music with its empressive BASS and clear vocals! Very satisfied with this especially since I got it at $100 off but definitely worth the full price.

Great Speaker, very loud, I ended up buying a 2nd one to pair in party/stereo pairing, it wakes the neighbors. Wish there was an eq in phone app and a case provided for the price. Overall very satisfied otherwise.

I got the xtreme 2 after mySony srx-55 decided to start distorting after 5 years Didn’t like it as much as the Sony. Had some credit card rewards and used it to purchase this. Oh boy! 500 is a lot of money (it costs more than my receiver) but totally worth it. I have yet to use it at full volume. (I have 2 SVS prime pinnacle towers and 2 SVS 12” subs that I do my music listening to). Get it. There is a reason it doesn’t go on sale and the reviews.

Tremendous sound, deep resonant bass and uber-portable! The Bluetooth works seamlessly and has great range. This boombox is quite heavy and the build quality is superior. I haven't run it on battery power alone yet.

I love the portability, I take it everywhere. The bass is nice but it’s not gonna shake the walls or anything. It’s pretty rugged but watch the sides with the passive radiators are that’s where it seems to scuff at.

IT is a n awesome piece of technology. The Boombox 2 is more than you will need but very nice to have. I think it matches up with anything that Bose puts out. The difference in technology between the top Audio Technology Companies is so minimal that the human ear can not decipher it. The difference is in the branding, marketing, and cost. JBL is a more reasonably priced product than most top end audio companies. Highly recommend it.

Bought the Xtreme portable 3 before this one and couldn't provide the sound and bass i desired for a big room. I can take it outside and you can hear it a block down easily!

By far the best sounding portable speaker I have owned. Deep base, clear highs and mids. Only issue I have with it is connecting multiple JBL speakers in party mode. Other than that, 5 stars all day.

I love my new JBL Boombox 2! hits hard and connects east to any of my devices. I showed for a few weeks till I decided on this one. I only wish they had added end screens to protect this bass drivers.

This thing is awesome! Bought it to use by our pool and it was a definite win. The sound and bass are great. The JBL Connect feature also allows for the speaker to pair my JBL Charge 5.

This thing has heavy bass!!! Highly recommend purchasing if you’re looking to buy a high end speaker. Perfect for outdoor settings, even better indoors so you can get all that bass!

JBL have always been a good speaker, but this is perfect for my warehouse gym loud and easy to connect like any other speaker. But this JBL Boombox is great, quality, and crystal clear sounds.

Very efficient speaker for full room sound. Great for portable great sound anywhere. Not heavy but sturdy. Large JBL sound on the go.

This is the second boombox I’ve purchased, quality speaker definitely worth the money. I always get complements on it. The one main difference between 1st and 2nd gen are the inside and outside setting that the 1st gen had which i really liked but thats the only negative.
