Retro name in modern times

With that out of the way; this delivers on all expectations. The price tag is justified for all that’s packed in. Having missed on the previous generations, it was worth the wait with the next line of JBL portable speakers. If you got the extra funds & love playing music this is worth picking up.

It's kinda heavy compared to other portable speakers. The base is not flat so it tends to fall easily if not put of an flat surface.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a friend one 3 years ago and so we put them side by side his 3 year old same style speaker with my 1 year old speaker and the differences were obvious. mine sounded like crap. His bass was crisp and louder than mine. On top of that this thing is too heavy it hurts my wrists to lug it around. Lastly it appears one of the ends where the speaker lines is coming unglued. I have used this thing about 10 or 15 times since I bought it and it's never left my house so over all yeah I'm disappointed I wish I would have got the ue mega boom 100%

Literally 'open box'

The box was ripped open, the power cord was just thrown at the bottom of the box, and the fabric cover for the device was actually to the side of it. The bluetooth connection to the device was still from what I believe was the previous owner. Hopefully all works out positively in then end.
