Great speaker with surprisingly good sound quality. The Bluetooth connectivity makes it very convenient to receive phone calls and connect to your phone for music. I use it mostly to listen to music off my phone. Bluetooth connection is a breeze and merely takes a few seconds. Brought it on a beach trip and amidst all the sand and salt water that it came in contact with, the speaker is still kicking. Nothing beats laying on the beach next to your loved ones and listening to music coming off this speaker. Would highly recommend if you want a speaker with great sound quality that does not cost an arm and a leg.

I was already familiar with JBL as I have a JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker. The rechargeable battery however has failed to hold a charge after about 2 years of use. Now I have to leave it hooked to AC to use. I do like the sound it produces and therefore was willing to purchase another JBL, especially since they were on sale. This JBL Charge 3 is even better than the Flip. It is a bit larger but produces decent sound and stays charged for a long time. Although they say you can't overcharge a lithium battery, I will not be leaving it plugged in as I feel like that is what caused the Flip battery to go bad.

I love the sound, and I love the battery life. The Beats speaker is half as good for 2-3 times the price. JBL is better than other speakers I've tested. This is the only portable speaker that I would recommend.

I rated this a 5 star. It may not be the best out of all of the bluetooth speakers, but it is fantastic for the price. Sounds great. And it gets pretty loud. I take this on my boat. its waterproof and floats. Its easy to use and you can charge another device with it. JBL never disappoints. it is camo, so it is hard to see....yuk yuk. I recommend this product.

At first I was skeptical about this speaker because I bought it before testing it. The moment I tried this product, I was just blown away with the sound quality and bass. The it's small, easy to carry around, and it's LOUD. Very loud. I understand that you can put two jbl products together while listening to music. If I had the funds I would definitely get a second speaker.

We like the sound and durability from JBL. We got the Charge 3 because it is waterproof. My daughter loves the color and that she can charge her phone from the speaker! The battery life per charge is great and we don't worry when the kids take it outside or around a pool. My husband got the original charge years ago and it still sounds great and we have never had a problem.

I purchased the JBL Charge 3 after using and returning the UE Boom 2, almost 2 months ago. After having hands on experience and using both speakers, the JBL Charge 3 is by far one of the better portable speakers that you can buy, especially for the price and size. I live in a lake community with a beach, and I take it down to the beach to listen to while I swim and play volleyball, and nobody down at the beach has a problem hearing the speaker. It gets decently loud for a speaker of it's size, it is pretty impressive. The bass in the speaker is also very good, not something you can really hear when using it outside, but when using the speaker inside, you can really hear and feel the bass in it. I have thrown the speaker both in the lake, and in the ocean in Florida to test it's waterproof capability, and it is waterproof and does still work after multiples dunks in the water. The battery life is also very good. I have used it on full volume, down in the sun for 5 hours or more, two days in a row back-to-back. 10 hours of battery life, especially being on full volume and being in the sun is very impressive. Overall, I would recommend anyone should buy this speaker because it is an awesome speaker, and I plan on buying another one because I was so satisfied with it.

Solid, great sound. Volume is great, excellent base and mid range good high range. Very full sound and durable. Perfect for my teenager.

Praises - These are wonderful speakers, providing better battery life from previous model (20 hours for charge 3, 12 hours from the Charge 2+) These speakers also reach a higher volume than the Charge 2+ (more robust hardware). The design is much more aestheticastheticly pleasing in my opinion and the waterproof body is a well appreciated correction to the previous model (there was a design flaw in the Charge 2+ in which there was no seal on the ports, leaving them open to the environment). Critiques - The software equalizing the treble and bass at higher volume is not as well designed as the Charge 2+. The body is also teetering on the edge of being a tad too large for my preference in a portable speaker. Also, it would be nice to have a button for moving forward and backward through songs. Overall - I am pleased. Just recommend a better audio quality design update to the software, if possible. After that, 5 stars all the way for me!

Full rich sound. Pretty deep bass for the size. Highs and mids are pretty clear. It's about $50 less than the competitors like speakers. My only complaint is that the manuals are not clear on how to care and handle the speakers on the ends of the unit. The manuals have a warning not to touch them. But it's in a picture, that depicts music playing. So I don't know if it's OK to put the speaker in a backpack without worrying about them getting damaged or it just means not to touch only while in operation.

Very good performance from Harman JBL Charge 3 Bluetooth wireless speaker. Simple to pair with iPhone and android products. Powerful enough to fill most any room with music in the house or office. This model was new in 2016, I listened to newer portables including those from JBL and to me this was the best choice. Bass and mid-range audio are excellent, the high notes might be a little better on the newer models, but overall the Charge 3 sounds really good. I listen to this nearly every day and only have to charge weekly. Also has a USB charge port for on-the-go charge for other devices. Two Charge 3's can be linked together if needed for outdoor use. Quality audio product from JBL reasonably priced.

There are so many wireless speakers out there you cannot go wrong with most of them, however if you want the best THIS IS IT. Having used this dozens of times in the short 3 weeks I have owned it, I have no complaints. Battery life far exceeds what I expected and the portability is outstanding. I was concerned about using this outside in a large field setting but am more than happy with the results. It's more than loud enough to to be useful with 30+ people around a roaring bonfire.

I went to BestBuy looking for a replacement blue tooth enabled speaker to replace my previous brand, which the usb connection for charging sunk inside the actual pill speaker. So I walked through the center isle and found the JBL speakers on sale. They didn't have the other one with changing lights left so I opted to pay a little more for a waterproof, red speaker. The sound is amazing. It has a 20 hour play, but I always charge after 16 hours. As a massage therapist, I can't have any beeping noises ruin a session, luckily it hasn't gotten to that yet. Don't let the size fool you. Just cause it's small, it packs enough bass when you need it, and is heavy, so you know it's durable. It's also enveloped with a silicone/rope material and the signal can reach well over 20 feet. The design and color gives off a sleek look and won't distract from the rooms atmosphere!

I like the sound and the small size of this JBL speaker. It's waterproof and the battery last very long time.

I’m a Bose guy but when I saw this on sale I couldn’t pass it up. I use it in the operating room and the Bluetooth even works through a closed lead lined wall. The sound it puts out is powerful and clear. Easy to connect. I worked two full 14 hour shifts and it still has 2/5 lights of battery power left. Only drawback is that the side speakers are exposed and can be damaged easily. So far I’ve been throwing it in my backpack and haven’t had issues.

Perfect size for my electric golf cart. Plenty of volume for me. Right choice for outdoor use as it is Waterproof. Good sound quality for the price. Bass is a little on the light side but not bad for the small size of the speaker. Buy two if you want to pair for stereo sound.

I was on the fence about buying this for a long time, but after reading the reviews I decided to get it. When I took it out of the box, it was fully charged and ready to go! The speaker is loud enough to fill a room at half volume and can fill a whole gym and full volume. The sound quality is amazing, the speaker dose an amazing job separating bass and treble. The subs are cool on the sides too. Over all love this speaker to death!

This speaker is awesome. The sound quality, volume and bass of this speaker is amazing. Not only is it a speaker, but it’s a charger too. Battery is long lasting. Very durable. I have owned two different JBL charge models. Would absolutely purchase again.

Very good quality sound and nice size definitely recommend for someone looking for more sound in your room. Also the ability to charge devices like your phone if it’s going dead you can hook it to the USB port it comes with and charge it with no problems of loosing battery life. Absolutely love this Bluetooth speaker it’s not too big or too small just the right size. JBL speakers are the kings of Bluetooth portable speakers their worth the price tag you pay for them and also works with a app you can download to adjust different sound settings that it has. And being waterproof just makes it that much better. Get this if you want a nice speaker for your bed side table that can blast waves of sound through rooms but the main positive things about it are the sound quality by far. The ability to charge devices for on the go and being waterproof!!!

This speakers provides great sound and easy Bluetooth connectivity. It’s compact but has amazing battery life, which allows you to charge other devises while using it, which is convenient. Great buy!!!
