I spent several hours researching Bluetooth speakers and for the money this was definitely best in it's class. The sound is phenomenal and the battery life is great and not having to worry about you phone running out of juice because the speaker charges your phone while it's plugged into the speaker. The speaker also only took a few seconds to sync with my iPhone.

I've been using the JBL Charge 4 for a while now and it's a very nice speaker. I use it a lot through out the house listening to music and I have been impressed with the overall volume and sound of this little speaker. A major plus is the fact that you can also use this to charge your mobile device in a pinch and the battery life is pretty good overall. I juggled between several speakers before finally pulling the trigger on the Charge 4. I have been very satisfied with that choice and would definitely buy another.

I love this speaker! It's so great for being so small. It's pretty loud especially inside. The base is great. It also holds a charge for long periods of time. When I first purchased (granted I only used it for around 2 hours maybe 4x) I didn't need to charge it for around 30 days. Loved it so much I got a second one!

Good low-mid priced outdoor speaker. Clean sound, good bass. Seems to hold a charge well. Bluetooth works well, and can charge my iPhone while directly connected with a cable. Have not tested how waterproof it is, hope not to have to. Was considering buying another one for an indoor room but the sale price ended (went from $120 back to $150).

Bought this speaker back in early 2021 and till this day i use it every single day. Great for indoors and outdoors. I've taken it to the beach with me. It has been dropped on the ground and soaked in water and it still works without any problem. I highly recommend this speaker.

Good sound quality. I teach water aerobics and the volume and music quality is good even at the indoor pool. Waterproof. Good size and it fits easily into my bag for the pool. I bought this on the recommendation of the sales person. I appreciate his knowledge and honesty about what speaker would meet my needs.

I spent so many hours online looking at different bluetooth speakers that would be durable and have great sound. I spent time in stores listening to a ton of different speakers too. I've always been a fan of Bose for their quality and there's nothing wrong with their lineup of bluetooth speakers (in my opinion anyway). But, I decided to purchase this JBL - I'm glad I did. It's initial outing was for a weekend beach trip and it worked great! The battery lasted all day, the connection to my phone was super easy and quick, it has awesome sound - at both high and low volumes - and it charged a phone while we were on the beach! The size is great and it really produces quality sound. I use this all around the house, outside grilling, in the garage working, and everything in between. I have also used it to pair to my laptop for work presentations that needed sound. It can really fill a conference room with rich sound. It charges quickly too - which makes this a top choice in my book. I highly recommend this speaker.

My 4th JBL charge. They just keep getting bigger every edition. It is not a bookshelf speaker but I really like the portability and the bass it produces. You cannot go wrong with JBL. Whether it is for the beach, casual listening or a party, u will not be disappointed. Great charge life too!

I bought this speaker since my previous portable one (no brand) was getting old and sound quality was so so compared to earphones. The JBL is sooo impressive! I tried sampling the ones on display at my nearest store ahead of this purchase. This speaker is WORTH buying for its amazing sound quality, portability and features such as bluetooth, aux cable input and USB-C charging port. I move this between my desk for computer + phone usage to my bedroom sometimes and its great to just continue playing from my laptop to the bedroom if I have some songs/albums to marathon. There's also controls on the speaker to change songs, pause or volume adjust. I wish I got this on sale but I really needed a speaker upgrade and reduce laptop speaker usage. I've had this for more than a year now and no problems so far!

Took this on vacation to the beach. Worked great and I wasn’t afraid to get it wet or sandy. Is very easy for a family to set up and use as it pairs with multiple phones simultaneously. I previously owned a beats pill and this thing puts that to shame.

Just a little bit bigger than the last Charge, Charge 3, and even better sound quality. Never had a problem with these BT speakers, reason why I still purchase this brand. Durability, battery, sound, connectivity are all absolutely great. Never an issue and is always reliable.

Very nice quality of sound for the size of speaker. Was skeptical at first, but was pleasantly surprised. Have dropped many times and still works like a charm. Long battery life at full volume turned up. Small, potable, easy to use. A favorite of mine.

I am so happy with this purchase. It produces incredible sound, great bass. It is loud and the charge lasts forever! The staff at Best Buy is the greatest. They take care of all my electronic needs. He listened to what my preferences were, demonstrated a few -and I purchased this on sale. I LOVE IT!!!!

Is portable and is battery powered Bluetooth speaker works with multiple Bluetooth devices, the speaker has great lows for its size of speaker and battery lasts while playing music not just in stand by mode. Battery lasts while in use. Also is can connect to more JBL speakers to get louder if you want to.

I love the conveniencey of being able to take it around. The battery lasts long, it's durable and it's great that it's water-proof. The sound is clear and at it's max volume can be heard from any room in my apartment. Would definitely recommend the speaker to anyone.

Excellent sound, clean. Durable, portable , and waterproof which I didn't notice until I read the description. Stores a great amount of energy and awesome that I can charge my cell phone from it too. I'm one happy customer.

I bought a Bose Colorlink II for $100 and was very dissatisfied. Got the charge 4 and I was astounded at the difference 40 dollars made. They are loud, crisp, and have a good balance. A bit bass heavy but LOUD. The JBL Link app works very well to hook the devices together either in stereo or ‘party mode,’ allowing you to hook up to 100 of these bad boys together (according to JBL). My dad got the same speaker and stereo sounds great. Two is definitely better than one. Oh and 20 hours on a charge is not bad either. In short, I would recommend this speaker to anyone for its design, battery life, build, and outstanding sound. I’ll be a JBL customer for life.

Chose this one over a Bose due to this being stronger against water, dirt and other things. Have taken it to parties and it has taken a lot of spills and it continues to work great. Its small but the sound is very good and loud and bass is amazing.

The JBL Charge 4 is exactly what I wanted. It has a better than average sound for its size, sufficient bass, a seriously long play time and is very rugged. Simple to use and intuitive to set up. I'd recommend this whole heartedly.

I purchased two of the Charge 4 speakers for easy music streaming in a two story townhouse (1350 sq/ft). I have been very happy with the performance of the speakers. The sound is good; I prefer to stand them on end. They pair up to my phone without any problems and then they pair together easily. My only wish would be that they remain paired all the time, but unfortunately the pairing process has to be performed every time I turn them on. I occasionally have the audio "cut out" and get staticky, but I think that is more related to my wi-fi than the connectivity of the speakers to the phone itself. While I would rather have a really robust system throughout my house, this is a great solution to having music throughout at a very reasonable cost. The battery life appears to be really good; I charged them upon purchase and I've only had to charge them one other time since then and it's been several weeks. They get used for about an hour per day, but I haven't tracked the exact hours between charges. Charging does take a while, so I do it at night so that they are ready to go the next morning without any downtime. I also like the portability; I can either leave one on my kitchen counter and one at the top of my stairs for good overall sound coverage, but I can also take them outside or into a specific room when needed; not something you can do with a stationary system. Overall a really good product.
