This speaker is perfect. The sound quality and bass are excellent for both indoor and outdoor events. The Bluetooth connectivity is excellent and the battery life is great with no issues. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This speaker has great sound incredible Bass and isn't too big to take with on road trips, camping Etc. is great for working in the garage, outside you name it. I bought this speaker because I already have a charge 3 that I keep at work. They no longer sell the charge 3 but the charge 4 will link with the 3 as long as the 3 has a firmware update you can use the Connect app to link all of the JBL speakers in their line via the app. The app also allows you to do stereo mode with 2 of the same speakers for left and right. party mode is awesome have your friends get them so you can all Jam together.

Absolutely love this speaker. The sound it great, it connects to all my music sources and is easy to use. The battery life is unbelievable as well. The best speaker for the money I have owned.

I love this speaker. Great sound and compact size. Also the fact that you can charge your phone with it is a major plus. I use it mostly in my garage and it doesn’t lack it volume.

The Charge 4 works great for what I use it for! It has above average sound quality and is loud enough to hear comfortable enough in the roll form shop where I work. I decided to purchase the Charge 4 over the Charge 5 based on the fact the Charge 5 no longer has an aux input. For the most part, the lack of aux input on the Charge 5 shouldn't hinder most people's desicion. But, with most of my music library on my iPod classic, I needed the aux input of the Charge 4. And the bonus is to be able to charge my iPod, phone or other device with this speaker. Links to bluetooth effortlessly (via my iPod touch and android phone)!

Well rounded speaker that can do it all. I have mainly use is speaker in the bathroom and shower due to the IP rating. It gets loud enough for most situations and the battery lasts several days. USB type C is a nice touch and makes this device feel updated compared to the other Bluetooth speakers and headphones that still utilize micro USB to charge. The speaker can handle both indoor and outdoor listening scenarios well. Pick this up if you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker that can do it all!

I do open mics where I read stories I have written and I play music in the background. I seemed to have lost the old Jambox speaker I used before, and I had a bookstore event coming up, so I went to Best Buy and listened to several speakers. (I plugged in my phone with an audio cable and played music to test the speaker, I want that aux input in my Bluetooth speakers, there are times when Bluetooth is too messy to mess with.) I really liked the sound quality and loudness of the Charge 4. Sony had good speakers also, but what convinced me was that the JBL did not have Sony's silly flashing light show. Instead, the JBL had drummy ends that PUMP-PUMP-PUMPED when the Best Buy guy demoed it for me. I like that (although I have not found a song that PUMPS like the one in the store). The speaker size is small enough to fit easily in a backpack without being a burden. In a pinch, I can stuff it into my sling bag (like a small backpack) as well. I tried it out at a bookstore event where I was reading from my book, and it worked great. I did not have to turn it up loud at all, plenty of power. I have not tried it outside yet, but at 30 watts, I think it will blast just fine for a small er outdoor setting (if you want to obnoxiously BOOM-BOOM-BOOM your taste in music upon everyone within one hundred feet, go bigger). The price I paid was a bit high at $170, but I am still happy with it (look for sales if you are cheaper than I am). I keep it near my laptop at home, and I connect via Bluetooth when I dislike my tinny little laptop speakers. (Usual fussiness when my iPad or Android phone grabs the speaker first, but that is a Bluetooth problem not specific to this speaker.) Much louder and better sound quality than my old (and smaller) Jambox. If you want LOUD at a medium-small size, check out the JBL Charge 4. P.S. I also bought the JBL Clip 3 to carry with me everywhere, it is smaller but still sounds great. P.P.S. I just played Mona Lisa Overdrive from The Matrix Reloaded at home, and I got some cool PUMP-PUMP-PUMP action on the speaker ends. But only for a few seconds, I do not want my apartment neighbors mad at me. P.P.P.S. The speaker performed great at the bookstore event. My sales skills, not so much, I sold 2 books. Still had fun.

LOVE this small but mughty speaker! We use it by the pool and take on the beach and it lasts all day and the sound is awesome!

For a fairly small speaker, this has very good sound. Portable and water resistant, this speaker is great for using around the pool, at the beach, picnics, etc. It also works with our Alexa device and it can be connected to other JBL speakers to create a nice sound system. Only drawback, the battery tends to not last as long as stated. But still good.

Has good sound, durable, water proof and you charge your phone with it while you listen. The battery life is really amazing . It’s an all around fantastic product.

JBL is the best SYSTEM FOR MUSIC OUT THERE. Worth every penny. Bass is on point and it’s sturdy and the volume is higher than any other product in the market right now!

It has great sound with a lot of punch. Wish there a way to adjust the bass and treble for different listening levels. It has great bass at lower levels.

I own the JBL Clip 3 and a friend has the Flip 3 and I bought the Charge 4 based solely on how good those two devices sound. Well, the Charge 4 didn’t disappoint. It’s got plenty of power and a very solid range. Strong but not muddy bass and excellent midrange and highs. Connectivity is perfect every time with my iPhone and laptop. Build quality is very solid as well. I brought it on an overnight camping trip and and the battery lasted a good 8+ hours which outlasted us! As the title states, I can’t think of anything bad to say about this speaker.

Great speaker! Easy to pair up with my phone, and charges it at the same time. It’s gives off a nice and clear sound. And fully charged, it lasts all day.

Speaker sounds great. I know some say it is mono only due to the one speaker installed but it still sounds good to me. Sitting out on the patio with friends it does a good job and gets plenty sound out for its small footprint. Like that it will also charge a phone if you need it to. Battery life is on par with JBL specs. And it does pair easily with my other JBL speakers. No lag noticed when I have multiple JBL speakers going at once. I own two of the charge.i put them around pool and have not had issue with water either.

This speaker is quite loud, I can carry it anywhere. The battery does last long and I love that I can charge my phone in it . Def recommend!
