I wasn't sure if JBL was ready to step up to the plate this year, considering the competition like Bose or Sony. I tried a few pairs in the store, minding COVID-19 restrictions, and decided on these. The cushy ear pads are nice and a soft memory-foam-like texture that is pleasing to the skin and doesn't hinder my blue-light filtering glasses. The noise isolation is quite well done without sounding tinny or messing with the audio that is being played. Their battery life lasts me very well for two or three days, averaging about five hours of use each day, up to eight hours. The only reason this review is four stars is because their physical connection is a twist-in locking mechanism for a 2.5mm jack, not the standard 3.5mm you would expect to see on some smartphones and laptops. The cable is a bit different, and recessed so you cannot use a different one, other than that included in the box corded thing. JBL, if you see this, change this feature and I will give you a solid five stars.

Great headphone for sound quality through Bluetooth and Wired, through Bluetooth volume lacks a bit for my taste but sound quality good. Noise cancellation is good but has weird pressure when turning your head. Wired to something in hi res is where these cans shine. Comfort is ok but a tad bit heavy

So I owned for 2 weeks the turtle beach elite atlas and was very disappointing. I then researched some more. Came across this pair of headphones and so far the quality is great, comes with a lot of extras like 2 cords, a 3.5mm jack to larger one, an airplane adapter, nice case. It looks beautiful. Quality of sound is great as well, battery life. Not a lot of base but great active noise canceling. Also people around you cannot hear what you listen to.

Better sounding than the PX7 and Momentum 3 if you like a wide sound stage with depth that makes your music more engaging. Much lower impedance at 32 Ohms means finer detail, crisp instrumentals, tight hard hitting bass, and an app EQ that let's you dial it in just the way you like your music - JBL nicely done!

I tested a lot of headphones. This pair was heavy. The sound was good. The connection was stable. I returned these an eventually purchased the Sony - WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones.

These headphones are mediocre. The sound quality is very obviously bass boosted, and all tonal ranges would get muddy at higher volumes. Most of the time, it sounded like I was listening to these headphones through a sheet. I was impressed by the integration with the app. The ability to tune the headphones for improved sound in each ear individually was an interesting implementation, and it did have a noticeable impact on the sound quality. But for the $350 MSRP (or even the $269 sale price I bought them at), I couldn't recommend them over other alternatives out there. Ultimately I ended up going with the Microsoft Surface Headphones for the more granular noise cancelling controls, ability to pair with more devices simultaneously, and for having better sound (albeit still not audiophile quality).

I bought them for sound quality and the noise cancellation. The noise cancellation was not very good. I also had to turn the volume way up in order to hear the music.

Sound quality is excellent, especially if you like accurate, non-boosted sound. Sound through cable is truly incredible and better than other brands of similar price. The app is okay, but I definitely don't appreciate the DJ signature sounds. Noise cancellation works well for low frequencies but not high frequencies and is not as good as Sony or Bose, but there is no pressure sensation either!

I bought these because they were on sale for $200, but they are horrid! If anyone paid $350 for these you're a fool. Even at $200 they are horrible. First they are heavy, the are too hard to adjust, they don't fold well into the case. The hinges feel like weak aluminum, they are bound to break. Now the app is actually nice and clean, but the sound is not good. They sound fine, if these were $80 headphones. But you can't compare them to the Bose NC 700 or the Sony XM4's. It's not even close. The ANC is not good at all, I can't tell the difference of when it's on or not. I'll keep my XM4's

These are my first set of wireless headphones and I gotta say I'm impressed with the JBL build quality, clean metal frame with some well cushioned ear cups. The headphones do have a good solid weight to them and a bit tight but I'm sure they'll loosen a bit with wear. As for the audio, it's clean, crisp and clear with some light bass. Phone calls sound clear and people can hear me clearly. I enjoy the JBL app that allows me to tweak the highs and lows to my taste. If you can score a set I say go for them.

I bought these to replace the JBL 750NC's. Great highs, decent mids but bass comes in a bit hollow. Better button layout, and built solid with Metal hinges and Leather Headband. Google Assistant access by touching the side of the headphones is pretty cool. A wee bit on the heavy side, but for me that's a non-issue.
