This is my 7th set/5th model of true wireless earbuds and these fit the best for me. The only thing that I can't give praise for is the mono calls and the inconsistent connection. I don't know if I can blame it on my headset bc I am using beta Android 11 so it may be the problem or it could just be the phone in general. The sound is great. I used them for a 2hr walk and other than the cutting in and out at the beginning of my walk (which could've been due to a variety of things) the sound was good and it was comfortable. It didn't hurt any part of my ear unlike other models. I think that if I wore them for 3hrs, the back of my ear might have had a problem but I think that is something I would get used to.
I will say that I got this on sale for $59.99 (50% off) which is much cheaper than the pair that I returned on warranty that costed $149.99 (good model) which does weigh in on my rating but even at full price, I think it's a good model. If I had to pay more, I'd want stereo phone calls and ambient noise option.

THEY DO NOT FALL OUT - AT ALL!

I bought these because I do heavy lifting, and my other buds would constantly fall out EVERY REP! I got so annoyed. Even though the rep told me not to buy them, I took a chance because of the ear clips and because I have many JBL products and they have never failed me. So far I am beyond satisfied! Not only are they super rugged (I actually accidentally went into the shower with them), but they are very sturdy, and super stable in your ear. They can take a little getting used to if you wear a hat, but not bad. The touch interface is a little sensitive but you get used to it eventually after using it more frequently. The charging case is good for more like 5 uses, at most. But I keep it charged. I don't use them to talk too much, but another feature I like is you can use the right earbud independently. The left is not independent, but didn't really matter because I primarily use the right alone. The speaker clarity is clear (as I've been told from others), although you may not be able to tell how loud you are talking. They cancel the outside noise very well in your ear, that's why it's hard to tell.
Sound quality is great, not too powerful, but very clear and bass-y.
Overall I am VERY VERY satisfied, and if you're active, then these are for you.

Not horrible but for the price I probably would have picked something else.
Pros:
• The sound quality is pretty good, at least to me.
• They stay on your ears while doing literally anything.
• Waterproof
• I really like the shape/build of the charging case.
Cons:
• They die very fast. They only last like 3-4 hours after being fully charged before they have to be charged again.
• **They die after a few hours even if they haven't been used.** This one is by far the most annoying con. I can keep these in their charging case all day and still if I leave them out for a few hours unused then at least one bud will be dead.
• They sometimes randomly play when paused.
• They turn off after a few minutes of no use and the only way to turn them back on is to take the right one out of your ear and "close it". Inconvenient, would be better to press+hold as a power button.
• They have a hard time clicking into the charging case.

I got these for my GF since she can only use headphones for part of her shift the charge gets her ask the way through. Sounds is clear and they are so lightweight and comfortable she can barely tell it's in. Says they are water proof. I want to take them swimming but haven't yet. I'll give em a 5 if I don't get electroshock therapy when I get them wet.

They work pretty well and the sound is good. I use them for running and they do have a pretty long life. I recently ran a marathon with them in but they did begin dying after just over three hours of continuous music. They are comfortable and they don't move around much and you don't have to continually adjust them in your ears.
My biggest complaints with these is that they do not stay in stand by mode for long and will turn off and the only way to get them back on seems to be to take it off your ear to close the ear loop and then open it back up. At this point I would rather have an actual power button.
Second complaint is the charging case. Too many times I put them in the case and then when I go for my next run I start getting a low battery warning. It is at this point that I realize the headphones did not charge. I have to mess with the right ear piece to get it to properly seat in the case and get it charging. The case and the contacts seem to be poorly designed or I have a defective case or earpiece.

Sound quality is very good, and the fit is comfortable. The ear buds block out lot of the ambient noise but you still can hear enough to keep you out of trouble. Stays on comfortable, not to worry about losing it or having it fall off, water resistant big plus no worries about getting it wet. Connection is fast once you set it up great cause you can use just one ear or both. Talking on the phone no problem sound on both side of the conversation good. Battery life not bad, and have the charging case to give you more time.

I was looking for a pair of bluetooth headphones that could double as a hands-free device for the work I do. Although I much prefer over-the ear headphones for critical music listening, they block out too much ambient noise in situations where you want to be aware of what is going on around you. They are also better under a hood, etc. for cold weather outdoor listening. I also don't want or need something that is 'stylish',' discreet', etc., preferring something a little bulkier that performs reasonably well, and has good battery life. I also did not have a huge budget for high end headphones. These JBL headphones were a very close match to what I was looking for, and JBL has a good reputation for a quality product.
So how did they perform? The sound quality, for what they are, is more than acceptable. Being designed to get wet, sweaty, etc., I did not expect the greatest sound, but they work fine for casual listening. Enjoying mainly classical music, especially organ music, a wide, flat frequency response is important. It does roll off in the bass somewhat, but again, I think this is due to being designed to withstand environmental moisture. Battery life is more than acceptable, but certainly not what is claimed on the packaging. I can typically get two evenings of listening on a charge. The form-fitted case for the headphones acts as both a charging stand and a charge meter. It also fits nicely in the pocket. One nice feature is the headphone (right) that has the master bluetooth receiver and the controls, can stand alone when all you need is hands-free telephony. The left headphone is actually a slave to the right headphone, and not the music player, etc. About the only drawback I have had with them is their tendency to shut down after about 10-15 minutes of silence. This behavior is not adjustable. Although I can deal with this, it is annoying, and is the reason I only gave four stars.
So, can I recommend these headphones? Absolutely!

First off the sound quality on these are amazing. Personally I think these are better than all the beats earphone with the exception of the Powerbeats pro. The fit is nice and they never fall out even when working out. Unfortunately the battery life is horrible, I get an average of 2 hours at half volume. With that being said you have to be at least half volume to drown out outside noises because these are fairly quite headphone until you get above 50% volume. The charging case is cheaply made the lid one mine after about 2 weeks of use is loose and I was being gentle with it. Overall they’re good headphones would recommend these if you don’t want to spend 250+ for beats, there are a few flaws but they can be overlooked by the sound quality and comforts that’s provided.

These stay on my ears really well, which I really appreciate because my original intention was to use them for walking outdoors. Unfortunately they frequently become unpaired from each other while you are wearing them and to "reset" them you have to put them back in the case which I may not have brought along with me on my walk. Unfortunately these do not see a lot of use for this reason. The noise cancellation capabilities are accurate, I can barely hear anything else going on around me when I have these on.

Good in theory, execution & engineering is subpar
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I have given these an honest effort after about 5 months of ownership and just about ready to move on to another option. The design & concept is good in theory however there are many engineering flaws with the product:
1) The charging case requires you to carefully manipulate the earbuds due to their spring loaded over ear design to ensure the metal contacts are touching the right points. If the contacts are not completely clean or sitting just right and confirmed BOTH lights are on you will be surprised to find out they did not charge. It also requires you to gingerly set them on a flat surface as to avoid disrupting this delicate connection. Case and point in the review photo (one light on and one connection to charging contacts lost after closing lid)
2) The audio quality when on a phone call is very much unusable unless the room or environment is completely quiet and phone call audio only comes from the right ear.
3) The left ear bud cannot be used independently of the right.
4) The battery in the left ear bud appears to be of smaller capacity vs. the right ear perhaps by design due to audio only being usable on the right ear. Therefore, be prepared for listening experiences to only be right ear if the left dies first.
5) When on a call if you change the output from the JBL to the speakerphone or earpiece despite taking this as a first step the call hangs up on whomever you are speaking with after they cannot hear you due to the poor sound quality.
6) On a bright note the sound quality when they are charged and work is great!
Overall, the product is far to high maintenance requiring so much diligence on the part of the user it makes the entire experience unenjoyable. In today's era of technology there is simply no excuse for this type of poor performance by design. We have several other JBL products and this by far the worst and a lack of complete engineering & validation on the part of JBL. Do better. I will be searching for better options immediately.

Wanted earbuds to use in the shower. These fill that need perfectly
Easily paired to my phone. Interesting placement instructions make for a great fit every time. Sound quality is good and loud. Not as good as wired earphones, but not the worst wireless I've experienced.
Comfortable for me for an hour or two. Surprisingly not heavy.
Touch controls are only on the right side. Not always accurate but function well most of the time. I was worried that the controls would be adversely affected by too much water (like in the shower) but only a few times have they failed to read a touch or react as if touched too much. I'm usually able to play, skip and repeat my songs (even YouTube videos in a playlist) with very little difficulty.
The case is sturdy and charges well.
Great ear buds for the active in a wet environment or if you want to shower with them.

Pros: stays on ear well, sound is good, look good, battery charging case is good but a bit bulky to put in pocket.
Cons: Auto off battery saved is terrible! Ear piece turns off automatically after only five minutes with out detecting sound. You have to take earpiece off your ear and power back on and wait to reconnect to answer a call. Very annoying. I wanted to take the ear piece back to best buy for a return but was told I was last the 15 day return period. So I'm stuck with a $150.00 paper weight.
These work good for constantly listening to music but are not good for phone calls at all. Cost is way too high for just listening to music.
