We're here to help with your JBL Endurance Race. If the charging case is closed and the earbuds still connect to your device, that is not the usual behavior of these buds. Please contact JBL Customer Support so we can assist you.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that can help isolate the issue of your JBL Endurance Race. you may try to clean the charging terminals on the earbuds using a swab dipped in rubbing alcohol, as foreign matter on the metal charging contacts may affect the charging process. If you're having issues with the earbuds not having sounds, to re-establish the connection between the two earbuds. While both earbuds are out of the charging case, please tap three times simultaneously. Next, you may try to reset it. While both earbuds are out of the charging case, please tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds simultaneously, then put it back in the charging case for 10 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support for further assistance.

Our JBL Endurance Race does not feature Noise Cancelling and is designed with Ambient Aware and TalkThru feature which keeps you alert to your surroundings. You might want to check JBL Endurance Peak 3 which has this feature.

With TWS earbuds, charging issues are frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts. This can include sweat, grease, ear wax, etc. These issues can be resolved by cleaning the contact points on the earbuds and charging case. For further assistance, please contact customer support.

Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Endurance Race is rated IP67 waterproof and dustproof. However, it can't be used while swimming because Bluetooth cannot travel through water. We suggest the JBL Endurance Dive for swimming activities as it has an MP3 Function where you can copy music files into it.

Thank you for your feedback. The JBL Endurance Race should automatically pair with each other if they're both taken off of the charging case. But you can try to do a manual pairing by tapping the JBL Icon on both earphones 3 times. If you're still experiencing issues, please reach out to our customer service so we can help you out.

To give you the best seal and secure fit, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, then, continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal.
