I needed a portable speaker which could withstand the factory environment where I work (minding the robot). The speaker needed to be durable and rugged, somewhat impervious to all the particles (liquid and solid) floating around in the air, small enough to pack in my lunchbox, and LOUD enough to be heard over all the machinery. I was attracted at first by a super low price for the UE Boom that BestBuy was running on a One Day Sale, but after doing extensive online research, I decided that this speaker would be a better fit (this was also on sale at the same time, and even cheaper than the UE Boom). There are lots of great website reviews of Bluetooth speakers, but I particularly liked this one- www.oluvsgadgets.net/2015/09/review-jbl-flip-3-ue-boom-killer.html. He gives a nice balance of practical advice and geeky stuff, and also includes audio comparisons between the JBL Flip 3 and several competitors, so you can actually hear the difference in sound quality. This speaker meets all of my needs. I also own a Bose Soundlink Mini, which- at more than twice the price- has a slightly richer bass sound, but I don't think that one could survive in my factory, so it stays home. The JBL Flip 3 puts out enough sound, and sounds good doing it, for me to give it 5 stars. I play it at full volume at work (it is charging all the time to keep from draining the battery), but I also listened to it at home one weekend at a reasonable volume level for several hours. It never ran out of power, and sounded really great when I could actually enjoy the nuances of the music. Overall, I am very satisfied with this speaker and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small, rugged, attractive Bluetooth speaker that provides a balance of great sound, great battery life, and great price.

i love this item it is louder than the others the battery last 10 hours on maximum volume i use it in shower and for cycling it is splashproof it can handle i slight drizzle Great product

Got this speaker for my fiancé and she loves it. We played the Pentatonix Christmas cd on it and it sounds great. For a little speaker, it kicks out some sound and the bass is amazing. She loves the color. She says it "Tiffany" blue

I researched for quite some time for a decent splash-proof speaker that was somewhat affordable. It killed me to spend $99 but I'm SO HAPPY I did. I use this inside and by the pool. I even carry it in my purse. (Bought a case for $8) It gets very loud & has great sound. I highly recommend it.

So I bought this for my bf as a Christmas gift since we both wanted speakers for Christmas and he loves it. Takes it with him every time he takes a shower in the bathroom getting ready for work.. it's always playing music. I have the JBL plus with the different colors... and I just love the product in general. Volume is loud enough for a house gathering. Small enough to move easily. Battery life 4-6 hours mine last me a good two days depending on usage.

I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to put in the kitchen mostly and this is perfect I don't have to worry about splashing it and it's loud enough to hear over the sink and washing machine easy to use and don't have to worry about ruining my phone

So far this speaker has impressed me alot. I thought it would be great in the garage but have used it everywhere except in there. Seems loud and clear. Very nice sound.

Great earbuds for a runner! Earbuds stay in ear and are very comfortable. They sound is excellent. Battery life is longer then I'll ever use or need. I would highly recommend these to anyone and would buy another pair if ever needed. A+'s

I just bought This JBL 3 from Bestbuy today and I just want to say that this This Speaker has a Great Sound and really easy to Use and has a Unique Design !

Perfect for a day out on the boat, exspecially for people like me who do not have a radio in the boat. Just use pandora on your phone and the Bluetooth on my device.

The JBL flip is great I bought if for my wife for Mother's Day and she loves it she uses it every day I'm going to buy another one real soon.

The quality of the sound is nice. However, the reported charge length is not accurate. After two hours of use the device Bluetooth totally disconnected and I was not able to reconnect it. I actually tried another iPhone AND an iPad. No luck. Too much drama for the $100.00 price point.

The JBL Bluetooth speaker is an awesome friend to have - sounds well especially in an enclosed room.

Easy to use! Touch screen is awesome. Being able to position the laptop as a tablet gives the laptop versatility.
