Super happy with my purchase. I almost bought the bigger model but no regrets! This little thing packs a lot of punch! I love the size and the sound is awesome. I'm sure that I'll use it for 90% of my music listening. It even fits on the treadmill. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the battery but so far I love it!

This thing is great. I primarily use it for outside time and it delivers. It's small enough to fit in the bottle holder on my bike. It's loud enough to fill up our outdoor space of about a third an acre. The best thing so far though is that it's surprisingly tough. My 2 yr old decided to take this thing of a field trip around the block (supervised) and put it through a bit of a beating. Cosmetically it took some damage from being thrown on concrete, but it still works perfectly well. Would have been nice to have one of these back in College. Overall, this is a product that delivers at a reasonable price. Good job JBL

Love this little speaker. This is the second one we bought. Great for carrying along on the beach or just anywhere. Small and compact with great sound.

I needed a new speaker to replace another portable that was no longer functioning. I had read reviews of the JBL Flip5 and decided to give it a try! It has exceeded my expectations in everyway! The sound is crisp and clear....as with other reviewers, I'm somewhat at awe with the volume and sound quality this small speaker puts out. Battery life is very good. It last the roughly 10 hours advertised depending on the volume you listen at. Intuitive controls and pairs up easily via Bluetooth. All in all, this is a great speaker and well worth the price.

It's hard to believe how long this puts out such great sound and bass from such a small package. I have several of these all the way up to the seven and I give him his gifts pretty often. It's quite a thing to give. It's a gift portable sound wherever you go

The round shape allows it to fit nicely in any place either laying down or vertically standing up. Last of all the sound quality is amazing with super easy and fast bluetooth connectivity!

[Employee of bestbuy] Yes Im am employee but I assure you we do not get handed free stuff from our manager or the company to write reviews I just needed a gift that that looked like I spent a lot more then I actually did and the only real advantage of working here is knowing what least likely gets returned. Jbl is always one of the best quality brands and least likely returned for problems and this one does not disappoint. They opened it and started using it right away and it was so easy to connect her grandmother was able to do it . It was like having a portable music festival on the table Plus, when they turned it full blast we all worried the neighbors would file a noise complaint so we turned it down . When you start hearing music you just can not relate to don’t bother trying to make it stop by trying to throw your drink on it because it’s completely water proof. Its very durable as well so trying to accidentally knock it over probably wouldn’t help either .

If you don't already have a Bluetooth speaker and are looking for an affordable speaker to knock around, the JBL Flip 5 is absolutely worth it. It has a tough waterproof fabric, good sound, decent battery life, and its portable size makes it a great option for just about everyone. This small speaker is no joke!

JBL portable speakers are the best in my opinion. You can feel they are built well and can withstand a good amount of abuse. This speaker is small and portable while still having great sound and a long lasting battery.

Purchased this as a gift for Christmas and it delivers fantastic sound in such a small package. The water-resistance is also nice to have near the pool and not having to worry that it'll be destroyed with an errant splash. Battery life is great and it recharges really fast. Super-easy to pair through Bluetooth also!

Small but the sound of this product is amazing. Easy to use and easy to read instructions. A bit pricey if your not used to buying your electronics low priced but the longevity and durability is top tier. Off the sound and base alone I would buy this product again.
