I have had a flip 2 and 4 and the flip 5 battery life is incredible. While some will not see it as a good feature, with no hands free calling feature included means streaming music without interruptions makes the flip 5 the perfect on the go bluetooth speaker.

nice, smaller size, than the Flip 6 works well in tight situations

JBL Flip5 performs as advertised, deep bass and is loud without distortion. On full charge the battery last as advertised. I would recommend this excellent BT portable speaker.

I had the JBL Flip-4 before i purchased this one. Its the same sound quality although the BASS is better. However, unlike the jbl flip 4 this one gas an exposed plug in rather than a cover that the 4 has. It also has one strip that lights up for battery power which is hard to tell where the lights at, instead of the easier 3 dots on the 4. Also instead of a REGULAR charhing cord it has its own cord that is inconvenient. I think other thsn the bass being louder the 4 was designed better.
