It did the job. Sound quality is not great, but it was cheap. Probably sounds better than the price would indicate, but it's nothing that will amaze.

The quality of the sound is good, but the volume is very low. I have to turn it all the way up to hear it well from across the office. It is louder than my phone's volume though.

Christmas Present

But JBL always makes great products so I am not worried. That's one of the reasons I ordered this item. The other was the color, it's his fave.
