The only reason I didn’t rate this item as excellent is b/c it needs to be plugged in, in order to work. Sound was great, Google Assistant was also a nice addition. Easy set up and navigation on on the Google Home App.

This thing is fantastic. I am admittedly heavily invested into the Google, and this speaker fits right in. I use it to listen to my favorite FM radio show every morning through an app. I set alarms on it and love the fact that I can get simple questions answered without having to use my phone, such as check the traffic/weather while I'm getting ready for work. I have Home Minis in the kids rooms, so I can cast a song as a wake up alarm for school. I also have Chromecasts so I can start shows on Netflix and control playback through the speaker. I'm always finding out new things I can do with this thing. Not to mention the sound quality - I've owned several of JBL/HK compact to midsize portable speakers, and this one is no disappointment. Audio is loud and crisp and carries very well even in a large sized room. At higher volumes, it's difficult to get the speaker to hear the listening keyword, so it's handy to have the button on top and no 3 or 4 second hold required to activate the Assistant. Highly recommend this speaker if you're shopping for a connected smart speaker

Great sound, affordable price, the capability are awesome. However, I didn't like, it wasn't created to keep charged for a period. Once it's unplug the speaker is lifeless.

This is a good speaker for getting better sound than the mini. For my taste, it is a little heavy on the bass. I've had it for almost a year and I have encountered few problems.

Love this speaker ! I purchased this model on sale during Black Friday, to pair with Google Home Hub . Amazingly ease of set up , great sound , and integrates seemlessly with Google home hub. I ended up purchasing 3 of them to spread around my house .

This speaker has great audio, bass, and sleek design. That’s about it. The physical buttons are TERRIBLE. The google assistant is HORRIBLE. It cannot set alarms, reminders, cannot make calls, send messages, read emails, send emails and can’t even shop! All it does is play music, cast, weather, and look up things. This speaker also had some connectivity issues. I plan on replacing this thing with a google max.

Great, rich sound... Integrated Google Home is a great touch. I use it every day along with our other Google Home devices... We also use them as intercoms to broadcast to different rooms

A decent enough speaker for the price. Solid sound but the cord is the one hold up. I had to be very selective in where I put it because of the cord

As others have stated, the sound quality is amazing and won't disappoint. Excellent bass, mid range and crisp clear highs. Sounds amazing even when cranked up and can definitely fill a room.

It has reasonable sound and can respond appropriately to google commands. Cant make phone calls like google products.

Off all the LINK series, this LINK 300 is the best one for the value. The rear facing subwoofer sounds great, and the Google Assistant makes it a MUST BUY.

I use this speaker almost everyday. The Google Assistant works great and starts playing music quickly. The sound quality is very good compared to the original Google Home.

Lots of fun and great sound quality. I was surprised at how much sound comes from a small speaker.

it is LOUD, this speaker can definitely fill a room out easily and it has google assistant so what more can you ask for.

Overall great speaker with an awesome base effect. Sound is just perfect for my downstairs living area. Speaker also looks real nice & blends on with decor!

this speaker indeed is verry impressive. awesome sound. add this in a group or do a speaker pair with 2 of these to gaine the awesome true stereo sound experience and its all she wrote persay. it would be nice to use this for video as well as audio instead of having to use this only for audio. like hearing movies tv shows, etc but i guess u can't have it all. it does seem as if google sometimes as big as this is, struggles to hear things on hear but, that could just verry per person. it doesn't change my thoughts and review.

This speakers sound awesome . It comes with google assistance which is pretty useful.

This speaker has a really good sound and its Bluetooth capability Is great. Also Google assistant is really helpful

I choose this one its because I know its a better sound quality than any other google assistant for this kind of compact speaker, small but huge sound. Really loved it, and you can ask anything to google, if you ask to play music it always says you don’t have youtube music subscription to play music but it’ll play music anyway. I used it everyday, my days not complete If I didn’t tun it on. Its really work for voice command my kids loved and enjoyed it. Really recommend for everyone. Thanks to JBL.
