My first Google device. Works good for Google playlists. It paired easily with my Samsung phone, tablet, and TV. The sound is awesome...rich with good bass.

Let's get the most important aspect of a speaker out of the way, the JBL LINK 300 sounds great. After all, that IS why you would buy a bluetooth speaker in the first place. It has a great balanced sound with above average bass reproduction in a small package. The unit is compact, fairly stylish looking, and offers Google Assistant. It also has a rubber base so that it doesn't slide around wherever you put it. Setup was a breeze as it is handled in Google Assistant. Now, you can forgo the Google Assistant part and just use it as a plain bluetooth speaker if that's your thing. Otherwise, Google Assistant brings quite a bit to the table and is especially useful if you are a Google user. I would put it above Alexa when it comes to the AI aspect, but doesn't have quite the overall device support as Alexa. So why 4 stars? Well, it succeeds in what it sets out to do which is provide great sound and assistant access. My problem is honestly the price. If you can get it on sale then by all means go for it, but at full retail it is within spitting distance of the UE Megablast. The Megablast offers farily comparable sound quality and Google Assistant access, but also offers battery power so you can move it around the house or even take it outside easily. Not to mention it is super rugged and waterproof. It makes the LINK 300 a questionable value proposition in my mind. Overall, I like the LINK 300 and think it is a pretty great bluetooth speaker. It is a no-brainer on sale or if you can't make that stretch to the UE Megablast.

The bass is nice, could be louder for its size. Much smaller jbl flips are louder.

I use this speaker in the living room for music and tv . Also added it to other google speakers in the house sounds great.
