This speaker gets loud!!! The lights are awesome and it barely distrorts at max volume. If you want to reachax volume make sure you keep it plugged in. When on battery, the unit does limited it's max output, but it's plenty loud for a decent size party. Amazing deal when you can find it on sale. Battery life is well over 15 hours at 60% volume. I wanted the Sony equivalent because of bigger subs, but the sound quality is way better. JBL for the win!!

Not gonna lie I had zero reason to buy this but I was walking through and saw it and just went for it. No regrets at all. Without the bass boost on it shakes my living room that’s about medium sized. The sound quality is very crisp and clear. Some speakers make a weird crackle sound when the bass is up too high with the volume but I’ve not gotten it to even hint that it was too much. Overall the speaker is what it says it is it’s a party speaker. It weighs like 34 pounds I think so not the most portable thing in he world but it’s not meant to be moved a ton. The battery life is not bad and it charges in just a few hours. I’ve owned a few JBL speakers and this one is my favorite by far.

This JBL speaker is nothing to the Sony speaker that I previously had. I saw many reviews of people complaining but honestly this has been one of the greatest investment I’ve ever done. The bass on this speaker so smooth. The hits insane lows and also the highs. I definitely recommend it for party speakers as well. Very portable as well. Battery lasted me for days without charging it back again and trust me. I use it almost everyday. The clarity is great. You hear every detail and when the bass hits, you even feel it in your chest. Would definitely recommend this product.

The JBL Party Box is pricey but you get what you pay for! Sound quality and battery longevity are excellent. The party lights are not overly done and would make the party atmosphere more interesting but you also have the option to turn them off. I bought mine to mainly utilize as an outdoor Bluetooth movie sound system. Using it for that purpose the movie music sound track is loud enough but the dialogue can get a little loss and the volume has to maxed out. My plan is to purchase another JBL PB 300 and pair them that way I have 480 portable watts at my disposal.

This worked really well as party speaker, and I loved that it didn't need to be plugged into the wall. The lights were a nice effect if you are going for that dance club vibe. It was plenty loud enough to do mini talent show of sorts in the a church gym with about 20 people involved, though I don't think it would be loud enough for a larger event. Dance party at your house though, more than enough power for that. The one thing I didn't like is that it only has 1 microphone input, so when we had two people singing at ne they had to share the microphone. It does have a second input for an instrument, but I tried it and its not balanced right for a microphone and was too quiet to work. The option for XLR microphone inputs would have been nice as well, as I had to go out and get new XLR to 1/4" cables just for this unit even though I already had standard XLR cables for my microphones.

We bought these 2 speakers just a day before our house party and they works really good. Great Bass, nice Sound for EDM and color-change Lights made our party went exciting and especially, we can carry this speaker to wherever we want. It’s conveniently movable.

This is one of my favorite purchases ever. I use this a few days a week, even at the office. I love the size, love how loud it gets, very easy to use and better than the 100 to me. Definitely worth the money and has been used quite a bit with friends and family at different events. I’ve used it outside and in the garage, sounds great everywhere. Highly reccomend!

Originally purchased to take out on the boat rather than spend $1000 or more to upgrade that stereo. This thing produces great bass thumping sound and accurate highs. It has stayed charged for 8+ hours with continuous use. We now use it for almost everything where we want a portable speaker. Only down side is the 30lb weight, but it does have built in handles. Good buy for the $$$.

I have been waiting to buy this speaker for 5 months. I missed out when it first came out. Sounds great and easy to connect to Bluetooth... Love the lights in the speakers. Only wish it had wheels on the bottom because its a little heavy!! Well built!

At first I was skeptical to pay so much for this speaker. I am pleased to say that I feel I made the right choice. This JBL speaker can get soooo loud that the neighborhood can hear it clearly just at 3/4 sound. My neighbors heard it clearly and loud at 1/2 sound. The Bluetooth capabilities is a true selling point because it’s seamless and holds very well. It syncs to phones, TVs both aux and Bluetooth, wireless microphones for karaoke and speaking engagements, etc. I would highly recommend this speaker. The only downside is that it is so heavy and it doesn’t have wheels for moving around; however, that downside is so minimal that it’s not significant enough to take this down from a five star rating.

If you have visited a Best Buy store and seen the speaker in person, it is in fact as heavy as it looks! This is NOT a speaker that you want to carry around. Although, this speaker sounds amazing! I use this speaker in our game room, and it’s Perfect! We live in a subdivision and we are surprised we haven’t had a noise complaint called on us yet! The light show is incredibly accurate to the songs that are being played. Anddd the Bass........for a Bluetooth speaker, I’m impressed! Def shakes the walls! I can’t wait to buy a Second one to pair for tailgates and any other outdoor functions we have!!

This is a very nice speaker. The lights are attractive and the sound is crisp. Easy to connect via Bluetooth. The weight is probably due to the battery but it small enough to fit anywhere.

Great speaker for indoor and outdoor. I love it so much bass and vocals. Very loud! Would definitely recommend it. Easy to use too.

I had the JBL Boombox and I thought that was an awesome speaker. Then I got this one, WOW, of course it is a bigger speaker and all so it does sound amazing compared to the Boombox. Nice punchy Bass, but could have a bit better tone, but sounds Great as is, no complaints here.The lights are a plus, very cool looking. I can't wait to get another one to see how the True Wireless Stereo sounds! Yes it is a bit expensive, but if you can fork out the dough, you will see for yourself it is totally worth the price.

Been using this as a stereo for the big rig and to have tunes at the local race track. The audio sounds great all the way up to max and the lower hz response is spectacular and beat my expectations. I listen to everything from Afrika Bambaataa to Cattle Decapitation and it all sounds great! I did feel that this unit was pricey even on sale but I am very happy with the quality. It is hefty. You will want to use two hands loading this into a tall vehicle! Build is solid, no rattles. Disappointed in that the JBL apps I found in the play store do not work with this model. I was hoping to play with some EQ and adjust lighting effects. That might be a feature on whatever model replaces the 300 series. I was worried at first that this thing was gonna pop a fuse from the power point in my truck when I saw how massive the orange 12v cable was! Battery life is good enough for a track day at full volume.

Decent size, good sound, I prefer a little louder but for the size is great. Good battery time, nice lights. No complaints till now.

I've had this speaker for about a year now. I've used it in many large settings, and it not only looks super cool but it sounds great too! It has lots of tight, punchy bass, and no lack of treble to accommodate. Its battery operated as well, and actually runs a bit more powerful when plugged in. It has a car power adaptor that I've never used. Overall, its loud, sounds good, doesnt sound muddy or sloppy at all. I've heard many portable speakers this size, and this one, for the price, has very little competition.

So this is worth every single penny compared to other wireless speakers I have owned. It also compares well to the northridge series speakers I replaced with it when my amp went out a few months ago. This is not very portable as it weighs a freaking ton but the sound is really good and the battery is holding up well to this point.

We own 2. This speaker is clear even at full volume. The battery lasts all day. We absolutely LOVE this speaker. If you ever hear this thing in action you’ll see. We’ve played Country, Rock, Metal, Pop and Rap through this thing. The bass doesn’t rattle and the treble doesn’t buzz. Great speaker. I not only would recommend this speaker, but I would definitely buy another. Sometimes, you get what you pay for.
