Nice sound and love the light show.....just a little pricey

I tested the Pulse4 out for a week to replace my Flip4 when its battery died. The lighting customization was very cool, especially once I got the hang of the app to control it. Unfortunately, the sound left a lot to be desired. Even at a relatively low volume, the Pulse4 shook my desk, bookshelf, nightstand - whatever surface it was on. The sound of it vibrating loudly against wood like that was a big drawback, especially since I was just trying to listen at a reasonable volume and not throw a houseparty. The range in general was lacking, and I found myself pulled out of the experience while noticing how off things sounded on my go-to playlists. In the end, I returned it and purchased the Flip6 instead. Even with the Pulse4 half off MSRP, it was still more expensive for a worse experience than the Flip series, which remains my favorite.

I used it for my fitness classes, and I love it. It is awesome for the cool-down when I dim the lights low, and the amazing pulse lighting sets an amazing mood for relaxing and enjoying the moment—one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life.

We are thoroughly enjoying the light show and music quality from this speaker! We have used it outside by a camp fire, by the lake, in the boat and side by siding. It is so easy to connect to your Bluetooth device and stream music. The app is fun to change the colors of the lights.

The best portable speaker out there. The deep bass sounds and clear upper end makes the JBL Pulse 4 the best you can get. Highly recommend it, our house has 3 of them floating around.

I love the quality of this well made speaker, the sound it produces as well as the light show, it keeps the entertainment going for hours, highly recommend this little gadget.

Great speaker! Have had it for a few years and still works great! Just be carful not to drop it, mine cracked.

Has been great to have a lot of different settings with colors. Friends have noticed and commented how neat it is. Another friend has one, and we can put it in party mode and enjoy them together.

The speaker sounds great with a full range of sound. Lights are synced with the music and a free app allows you to change color schemes to match your mood. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun little party speaker as well as for daily personal use.

Needed a new portable speaker for home/travel and this one was the best value. Great sound very good battery life. Works from a great range seems to be more than 30ft of course with a straight path no obstructions.

Really awesome speaker that’s easy to transport and provides great quality sound. Ambiance is awesome in a dark room as well! Recommend for music lovers!

Great speaker and love the variation of lights! Only color I realized it would struggle was for red and some colors seem the same but this is a great speaker for the lights, volume, and battery life!

This speaker is fantastic, not only does it look cool with the different colors and settings. The overall sound is high quality and if you like loud music, this won't disappoint.

Great speaker for parties, it could be louder but with all the lights its to be expected. If you prioritize sound quality and volume this is probably not for you but if you want something that looks as nice as it sounds then its perfect.

This little speaker will liven up any party. Its compact to take with you and has a great light show. Pairs easily with my phones and should connect with other speakers for added fun.

I purchased this JBL speaker last month and we used it for our Father's Day Cookout/Party. It was a big hit needless to say and everyone enjoyed the sound and beautiful colors.
