The JBL Pulse 4 is a very reliable portable speaker! It boasts a tremendous amount of bold sound and bass, and the customizable lights are a very nice addition. The option to sync with other compatible speakers is amazing and makes the experience better! The battery life is a good 12 hrs as advertised.

I bought it for my daughter as a gift and she takes it EVERYWHERE. It's really, really LOUD and sounds very clear. You'd be surprised to hear how nice it picks up bass and how clear the mid frequencies are. Highs are crisp.. a bit pricey but it is JBL. I'm a long time client.

I gifted this twice this year. The people I gave it to love it and say it sets up the mood for their listening parties.

Was hesitant about the price and the size of the speaker, but went with my gut feeling. Let me tell you, JBL DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. So glad I went with my gut feeling. BEST SPEAKER EVER AND PARTY MODE IS AN ADDED BONUS!!

Love the glow and light. There is like 5 different patterns. Can turn any color. Great bass and sound. You can also turn the brightness up or down. It lasts very long and charges fast. Excellent purchase.

I love this speaker. It makes fantastic sound, loud and clear enough to hear it - only on about 1/3rd of the volume - throughout a 2 bedroom AirBNB that I was staying in. Great bass for a little speaker, too.

We love this speaker. But it has stopped working today and we can’t get it on or anything so as of rite now I am going with 3 stars will update when we get issues fixed

First let me say the sound quality on the Pulse 4 is overall a massive improvement from the previous generation of pulse speakers which always seemed to sacrifice audio quality in order to provide the lighting effects that make this speaker so unique. However, this is no longer the case and the pulse 4 I can safely say is one of the best sounding JBL speakers and one of the best bluetooth speakers in general I have ever owned. I was so impressed by the speakers I decided to purchase 2 which look and sound incredible when synched up. I really cannot reccomend them enough and given I picked these up for $149 each, you really cannot beat the price to performance value offered here.

It plays loud and for a long time. The light show is amazing, especially in the dark. Can pair it up with other JBL bluetooth speakers for even more sound enjoyment.

With the lights and the bass for a small size putting on a playlist sound flows beautifully and when you turn the lights off it’s a kaleidoscope of color. Worth it

The JBL speaker not only has its original JBL crisp sound, the lights make every penny worth it. This was a gift for my son and he described it as a “lava lamp with speakers.” The colors and it’s customization was very easy. Setup was finished in as little as two buttons. Out of the box it’s construction was durable. The audio as mentioned above was crisp and can get loud enough to be heard from every area of the house! Absolutely happy with this purchase!

Excellent sound and fun light “show” A little expensive seeming but sound and lights are worth it. Good battery life.
