I am So impressed with this speaker! It came almost fully charged (battery charge indicator showed) and I intentionally played it down to see how many hours that gave me. More than 12 hours later I hit the hay, but Flip 5 wasn't about to! The sound is wonderful; consistently clearer than my radio (I live in the Southern Appalachians) and loud enough to hear over kitchen noise while cooking, no distortion. Music - Check! Podcasts - Check! Next I'll be trying it in my car, where radio reception is often scratchy and poor. I totally recommend Flip 5 to enhance radio and smartphone sound transmission! Insane sound for its price. Battery does a fantastic job at lasting through the day. It's tough, it can survive water, and for the price, is one of the best vibe-setting devices you can buy. COP IT!

Great sound... pretty loud for outside.. not plaid enough to compete with the ocean though+ people nearby. I do love it for working in the yard and outside. It’s compact and water resistant

Bought as a gift for my nephew who works out and previously used his phone to listen to music. I cannot comment on other portable speakers as this is the first one I’ve ever bought, but what I can say is that this speaker offers very good sound. The sounds are clear, loud enough, and have a good bass to them.

Exactly as advertised. Dual driver speaker, sounds bass heavy, but overall well-balanced for the size of this speaker. Easily fills a couple of rooms with sound. Quality for the price, no doubt. From what I read, and have experienced, seems like a better deal than similar Sony/Bose product. Would recommend.

Fantastic speaker. I leave it plugged in on my desk in the office and use it to stream music while working. I also take it camping and pair it with other Flip 5's and we have music for the whole camp. Pairing these together is great for filling large camp sites with music.

Excellent Bass and clarity. JBL know for lasting and good quality. Had another speaker from JBL that lasted for 15 years.

Great sound and convenient size for traveling. Also has a very good battery life. I use mine for about 45 min a day and only have to charge it every 2 weeks.

I use this speaker every single day to listen to music in the shower and I couldn't be happier. Originally bought it to go tailgating and it was certainly loud enough to be heard around the parking lot. Bring it anywhere, use it any time, just remember to keep the battery charged (same charger as a Samsung Note).

Hands downs best speaker in terms in price, size and specs. Perfect to fit in the bottle carrier of bicycles to add music to the rides.

Works great. Love that it is wireless and can take it anywhere. Not too bulky. Great sound. Love that it can connect to two different phones.

Small and powerful. It has been a really good speaker. The battery life last for the full 10 hours and charges up fast.

I was only concerned with sound quality in getting a new Bluetooth speaker. Peripherals were not a concern. This speaker has certainly met my desire for excellent sound quality. Deep, rich lows and clear, sharp highs. Plenty of volume. It instantly pairs with my devices. Highly recommend.

This JBL is great because it's water resistant., the battery lasts a long time, the sound is great and I have dropped a few times and nothing really happens. Great product!
