Speakers are well made and stylish. The sound is pretty flat in the midrange with slight bumps in the low and high end. Comparing to something like a Klipsch, these will be less of a 'forward' sound with vocals with everything more even and spread across the soundstage.

I ordered these speakers because I had previously bought the JBL Studio 530 speakers and I really liked their sound. These speakers do not sound as good as the 530s to my ears, but they were also not quite as expensive. I have since hooked them up to a Wiim amp and I use them as remote Airplay speakers and I am happy with that use case.

Great speakers. Wish they were a little less expensive, but still worth it. I use them with my MA710 amp by JBL, as my rear surround speakers. They sound great!! I am sure they would do even better as bookshelf main speakers.

I bought this set of speakers and I am very satisfied with them. They sound terrific. The gentleman helping us was very knowledgeable and a huge asset in helping us find the right product.

The salesman listened to what I was seeking for my sound system in my living space. The JBL speakers sound great and fill the room with excellent clarity .I am also very happy with the Sony turntable for my vinyl. All in all a very positive experience .

Very loud once connected to an amp. Sound quality better than expected. Wish the 250 had a bracket ok the back for hanging like the 240.

These speakers, connected to and old JVC 505 receiver, are being used in a very large room, and the depth and range of sound is amazing.

Only had the speakers for a short period. Tried to use them with a Pioneer SX1250 but it is simply to much. I believe they are good speakers and will use them for other applications. They do look good and will do fine for things under 100 watts.

Added the speakers to my newly purchased sony An1000, great sound.

These speakers sound very good for this price range. Good for casual listening for most of genres of music. I tried jazz, rock, classic and country. They sounded without a big flaw.

You always expect great quality with JBL and these do not disappoint, they produce an amazing amount of sound for their size.
