This particular set requires me turn up the volume (way past other in-ears I've owned) to get a decent level. The wires do indeed tangle.

He is very rough on electronics and ruins them quickly. These are affordable and a known brand, so I decided to try them. He has had these for a month now and no issues at all. Fingers crossed they will last even longer.
