Has good size to it, great sound, wicked bass, good battery life and the carrying strap with bottle opener makes it even better. I'm glad I ordered this JBL and definitely recommend this speaker to music lovers. Its perfect for indoor and outdoor use. I can't wait to blast this beast at parties and campouts this summer.

This thing is a beast. Clear sound, deep bass, and LOUD. I haven't actually timed the battery life, but I can tell you it's never been an issue. I used to have one of the Bose ones that was double the price, hard to connect to, and was left in a light rain and died. This thing is better, easier to use, and waterproof :-)

We spent about an hour in-store comparing one speaker against the other. While pricier than others, we kept going back to this one. It's got great sound, easy controls, connected quickly, and is easy to carry around. It's built for any environment and we use it everywhere. It's especially good for humid or wet environments. Highly recommend.

Got my first JBL Xtreme 2 when I was in the military for large gatherings at home. The bass is phenomenal and battery lasts a long time. Also been exposed to water and didn’t affect anything. The charging ports in the back of the speaker are just a bonus and the strap included is handy for easy transport

JBL, known for quality items, has a solid item with the Extreme 2 Bluetooth Speaker. I use it with my iPhone, the range is excellent and the sound is great. Its plays loud enough in small to medium sized rooms, and it can connect with other JBL speakers to make a large sound field. You can use the EQ presets on your phone / tablet to customize the sound. Battery life is excellent also. Amazon sells a nice carrying case for its protection. Overall, a solid choice.

Love it. I use it at work every day for 5-6 hours. One time I forgot to charge it on Weds, and it seemed like it a charge until Friday. The bluetooth is great, connects quickly, and stays connected. Sounds really good too, good volume in a work situation.

Excellent sound quality, easy to connect to Bluetooth. Charge seems to last a long time and the speaker is much larger than I thought it was so the carrying strap is a nice feature. Charging cable is unique (not USB), so would probably need to replace if lost.

Awesome sound from a small speaker. In the past, I always had top of the line stereo equipment with large floor speakers. I have always missed the quality of sound from those large speakers. Now, I have this JBL and the sound rocks. I take it to the beach and out in the yard at the fire pit. Great product; waterproof, lightweight, good price, easy to set up and use.

This product has a great sound. We use it outside by the pool and it has enough bass to fill our patio and pool area. Easy to connect via bluetooth and a nice long battery life. I'll buy another because they can connect to each other and create surround sound.

Loud and proud! Great bass. Easy to use. No issues connecting Bluetooth or linking with another JBL speaker. Long battery life. Short time to charge. Take it with me to the gym to hoop everyday.

This is my second JBL Extreme 2 speaker that I have purchased. I loved the other one so much that I decided to add another so that I can play them both with the connect feature. Plenty loud indoors and now that I have two I feel like I’m at a concert. The ranges of the bass and vocals are sufficient indoors. I haven’t used these outdoors yet but I can imagine they will sound great at the next party I host. Got these both for $250-$275 range. Both times on sale. Definitely worth the money and as always JBL has never let me down. I’m also the proud owner of two JBL Partybox 300’s and the JBL Boombox. All great Bluetooth speakers.

I was looking for a speaker with good bass but not so much that it drowned out the music. This speaker provided that and more. Pros: Good battery life, can pair up with other JBL speakers, can charge other devices via a USB port in the back, and is water resistant. Cons: This speaker weighs roughly five pounds. It’s also bigger than a portable speaker that you’d slip into your backpack (It does come with a shoulder strap to carry it). Overall: If you’re considering this speaker and are okay with the size and weight of it, then you will love this speaker. If not then I’d suggest looking at the JBL Charge 4 as it’s the smaller, more portable, version of the Xtreme 2.

Purchased this for my daughter she loves it , told me perfect for her peso pluma music. Very good bass and super loud and the strap is perfect for on the go and out door activities . Battery last a long time weve charge it after a good 15-17 hours use depending on how loud its been used .

I really like this unit. Sounds great. Long battery life. The only minus is that they should have designed a better way to transport it with one hand, other than the rinky dink belt type handle that clips off or on. Plenty loud, and water resistant, too! Easy to pair and use!

This speaker is great. Great sound and great volume. I like the carrying strap and the ability to use it as a power bank. Only down side is the charging port is rather difficult to open

Great sound. I wish it had a little phatter on the low end, but an over all good sound. A slight delay on initial Bluetooth connection. Also, opening the waterproof charge port is very hard. Use care to prevent breakage.

This is a great speaker for the price. It gets loud enough to fill a mid-sized room with noticeable bass. Also, it is very easy to connect to with a one button setup for Bluetooth.

The speaker lasted me a whole day at the lake and the next day went to play basketball for another 3 hours and lasted through that too. The speaker sounds amazing and the water restance does work well we splashed it a little at the lake and it works fine

Treble and mids are good.....the bass is not bad. I guess I was expecting more bass, but I realize it is a portable and can only put out so much. Being raised on music played at high volume with lots of bass (my dad was a music connoisseur), and being that this is a portable, the volume on this JBL is not bad. I was pegging it against my Bose home theater system and realized that wasn't fair or a reality. I like my music loud. So I do get good sound out on my patio and in my garage when I am working in there. Works great for outdoor parties. Blue tooth connection was easy. It is a heavy piece, but that's ok. I purchased it on sale, so overall I am happy with it's performance.
