Wonderful deep bass and sound for a portable device.

JBL sound quality continues to amaze. It has great bass, little distortion, and good volume. I like the extended battery life, but primarily enjoy the JBL for it's excellent sound quality.

Originally I purchased one of the smaller JBL speakers, and decided to upgrade to the JBL extreme, and I am 110% percent happy I did! This speaker, has amazing crisp sound quality with a strong clean bass even at high volume. I use the speaker for outdoor works, pool parties, and everybody loves it. This speaker truly allows for a great sounding portable music everywhere you go. I also use the speaker, in the house, and can't even bring it up to full volume because how loud it gets. Battery life on this speaker is incredible, and I use for hours at a time for a few days before I need to charge it. If you want a speaker for outdoor use, and indoor use this is the one to get! You will not be disappointed.

A durable speaker. Plays loud and crisp. Take it in rain or shine and charge your device off its internal rechargeable batter.. can't beat it compared to other speakers in price range

JBL is always good, this JBL extreme is really nice for a home party. The bass is good in high volume. The finish is really good, however haven't tried spill water on it to check how it works, but anyway lets really in the spec. Small issue I've faced was when two phone are connect with, some time my wife phone is connect but not playing nothing when I try to play the music got some bad connection then I need to reconnect the speaker and it works ok.

This speaker compares or exceeds other non-portable speakers of the same power (Wattage) in overall quality. It's user-friendly and packs substantial bass and volume.

I have a JBL Charge 2+ and was surprised by how loud it is along with how much bass it has compared to the competition at the time. I was in the market for something better and was debating between getting the JBL Xtreme or a JBL Charge 3. I bought the JBL Xtreme first hoping that it would be twice as better as the JBL Charge 2+ since it is about double the price. In terms of sound quality, it is definitely louder but not double the price louder and the bass does go lower but not that much lower compared to the JBL Charge 2+. I also didn't like that you have to bring a proprietary charger in order to charge it. I guess since it is a bigger speaker, it would need different means of charging but they could've done something different like using USB Type C and I am pretty sure there are bigger battery packs out there that still charge via USB. All in all, I am somewhat impressed but for the price I think it is probably better to get a Charge 3 or even two since you could link them up together to play the same source.

This powerpack fills my backyard pool area with music effortlessly. Sounds very good and quality of bass reproduction keeps amazing me. Battery life seems to excellent as well.

Let me start by saying I am an audiophile and have a some very high end audio equipment. I knew this little guy couldn't compete but I'm honestly quite surprised by how close it gets. We wanted a portable speaker that we could use anywhere around the house, by our pool or anywhere outside really. This is very easy to setup and connect to, for it's size, it has a great bass response and plenty of volume with practically no distortion. So far, the batter has held up quite well as we have yet to run it dead on a single use. I'm quite pleased with our purchase and really could not have expected more for the size and price.

This speaker gets loud and has excellent battery life. It is a little bit on the heavy side for a portable speaker but it does come with a strap to make carrying it easier.

Got this for my wife, and she loves it very much. We started with the flip and i saw this at the store and was like man this is very nice.. and tried out other Bluetooth speakers and came to like this one... it's very nice and clean sound at loud volume.

This speaker is awesome, it is a bit pricey and heavy but it has incredible sound. I want my jbl to have a twin so that it can overpower just about any background noise.

Even with my hearing loss, the bass end comes through loud and clear. The design is sturdy and good to use outside by the pool. The battery lasts quite a while.

Not only does the JBL look great, it sounds great! It can be paired with other smaller JBL portable speakers so you get great sound over a large area. The unit offers strong, distortion free sound. It's all you need for the backyard or the park.

Very satisfied with this unit. Love the size and portability. Had a little difficulty to connect to my McBook pro. I had to upgrade it's software online which JBL support people had no idea. Great sound and battery lasts longer than other similar devices.

I got it for a great deal at $149. This speaker even at its regular price of $299 is THE BEST bluetooth speaker. I also own Bose Evolve plus and UE Megaboom both similarly priced but JBL extreem is the best among these

Sounds great! Love that's it's small and portable. We take it to the lake and softball games. Have gotten a lot of compliments on it.

Volume, bass are all top qualities of this blue tooth speaker. The battery life is long and the app gives you equalizer adjustment

love my new bluetooth speaker from jbl, good sound, bass too, and the battery hold for few hours, so is nice to have one around
