I looked at the reviews and features of many brands and found that Jenn-Air makes an excellent professional product. The placement of the eyes allows you to place large pots and pans side by side. The multiple Btu burners is the perfect mix. Having a simmer burner that will allow you to melt chocolate without burning is a really nice feature. I love how I can place a commercial size pot and can get it to boil so rapidly is a wonderful feature. Yet, I can turn those same 4 burners done low enough to keep a sauce from not burning. I love the 3 heavy duty grates that allow me to move heavy pots around without lifting them. My main concern was cleaning the stainless steal when I have spills. The coating makes it extremely easy to cleanup spills without having to use abrasive items. I am only the soft side of a sponge to clean it. You sill love this cooktop. My husband calls it my new toy because I love cooking on it. I highly recommend it.

The grates are all the same size and create a huge flat surface so you can set stuff anywhere safely and not tip.

I love having 6 burners. Clean looking and not bulky.
