My car was a real basic used 2007 Honda Accord, probably for fleet use. Absent: Rear deck Speakers. I ordered a $60 pair from another company which my amp blew out... over driven. Bass is masked by road noise in this car. I was unaware they speakers were in jeopardy until the whole system shut down.... fortunately it was a protection cicuit that kicked in. I went on line shopping at various stores and decided on the Jensens from Best Buy. Completely happy with them... beautiful sounding on classical as well as pop stuff. There is no stridency in the highs... just clean and crisp. Logically, a external amp is the best solution. Financially, an external amp is an impossible solution... dear unemployment! I don't listen at high levels. I keep myself aware of bass content in various recordings (ant that can vary a LOT). I just baby them along even though they have a high power rating; I am really enjoying these Jensen speakers at an amazingly low price.

I got these with front door speakers also for my nissan and after instal they rocked. They have so much power I can not crank my stereo all the way up. I do have 4 of them with power booster. I bought 2 pair. My stereo simply rocks and I got no distortion compared to my old speakers. The best part is I cant hear myself sing. With premier shipping I could not ask for more.
