I haven't used it yet, however it seems to work ok.

[Employee of bestbuy] I got it to convert some of my Spotify songs into cassettes. It does the job considering the fact that I also got lower quality tapes. The issue is that because of the fact that it has an auto-stop feature, it will randomly stop while recording and playing so I have to hold down the button to get a clear recording. It might be because I got cheap tapes or because I have a defective one. But I’m not using it to actually play the cassettes so it’s fine for now.

One of the best purchases I've ever made. The tape recorder works well for my needs. I'm a pianist and like to record my practice sessions in order to hear myself and to catch mistakes, such as musicality and errors to the music before I perform. This tape recorder catches everything! I highly recommend it.

Old school recorder and player. Reminded me when I was kid, we thought this was so hi tech lol. Seriously I needed a basic player as I have older cassettes on various courses and speaking series. Works perfect for my needs. Made well. If you're looking for something for simple basic listening at home, look no further! I highly recommend!

Nothing fancy, but a good quality cassette player, to replace the last one (Sony) that I thought would last forever. I'm just glad products like this are still available, with so much of the world moved to 'digital'

This is a very convenient little player when you want to just kick back and play some cassettes not fire up your entire stereo system. Sound is very clear and is lightweight if you want to carry it from room to room.

Bought this to record readings for senior friends in a care facilities. So far, has worked pretty well. Will know more over time.

Very simple unit to use. Records well, lite to carry and it even came with a power block!

Tested in the apartment. Sound quality better with separate microphone attached. Still need to test if it will record noisy upstairs neighbors. That is main reason I purchased.
