This movie is about an era in music history when I was just a youngster being introduced to dancing and dating. It hit home! Love the music and I never knew the whole story behind the "Jersey Boys"! I will watch it from time to time and share it with family and friends.

I purchased this after enjoying the film in theaters. I was disappointed to find that the blu ray has only three special features to speak of, none of which are all that extensive. It would have been nice to see an extended edition since there were edits that removed some plot points to improve pacing.

I found the film to be a tad strange but that can be expected when the director is Clint Eastwood. I did find the film to be quite entertaining and fun to watch and if you have not seen the play, I recommend seeing this film on DVD, it is cheaper and quite fun as well.

If you remember the Four Seasons and their standout lead singer, Frankie Valli, then you'll get a kick out of the "back story" of how these four kids from Philly got together and how they made their mark in the entertainment industry during the last 50 years.

The Jersey Boys dvd movie by Eastwood is by far better than the live show in Vegas.The story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons was told so much better in the movie. I enjoyed the reduction of bad language. Saw it at the movies and could not wait to get it on DVD.

Notwithstanding the "swearing", the movie is enjoyable for a large and varied audience. The music takes you back and the nostalgic feel is top shelf. Christopher Walken plays his part to perfection.

Love this movie. Happy to own it. It's nice to know Frankie Valli's story. Clint Eastwood did a great job with this movie.

I will watch this movie many times! I grew up in the 60's when Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons released Sherry, their first hit. The actors had amazing voices as well as the ability to deliver great performances. Clint Eastwood did a fantastic directing job!

It was a pleasure to bring back very pleasant memories of the 50's and 60's with such a great group. I learned a lot thru the movie of the groups beginnings. The movie songs listed and performed by the actors playing the 4 seasons were great. A must see movie.

If you remember the Four Seasons with Frankie Vallie, or just like their music, you will love Jersey Boys. The movie has great renditions of the old music with a good overview of their struggle in the music industry. A must have for your DVD collection.

Saw the production version in Vegas a few years ago and was blown away. The movie was equally fantastic! Having several of the production actors/actresses reprise their roles for the movie just brought more realism and heart to the movie. Excellent buy.

Sad story, especially because it really happened. Great music and fantastic talent. A legacy that will live on when creative spirit is not crushed.

Hit after hit after hit, Jersey Boys packs them all! A great performance by John Lloyd Young and a standout cast, combined with the wonderful songs of The Four Seasons will leave you nostalgic for the wonderful days gone by and wishing for more.

This is another Clint Eastwood classic. True story that takes you back to a time when there was 5 harmony with a story to tell. Not like the stuff that's out there today. Anyone who likes music from the 60s through the 70s will love this movie.

I always liked The Four Season but I didn't know how they became the Four Seasons. I enjoyed and was very surprised at how they did. Clint Eastwood did an excellent job. Their music is now enjoyed by a whole new generation thanks to this movie.

Music doesn't get any better than this! The movie doesn't disappoint. Fills in some of the gaps in the Broadway musical story. Frankie Valle is a man of integrity and strength....don't miss this if you ever sang along to a Four Season's song!

I watched the movie before the Broadway show...the movie was good but the show was 100 times more entertaining! I still enjoyed the movie...Clint Eastwood is a great movie maker.

Never got to see the Broadway play but this movie is fantastic! The end leaves you feeling like you got to see the Broadway production and leaves you just plain feeling good! Not very many movies do that today. Great story, great music!

A real life autobiography carries more impact than todays computer dominated audio and visual effects. My wife and I have seen it several times and is a must have dvd for us. We both love it, but it is from era when we were young too.
