Like the emotion but some tough notes, on the performance end. On the digital copy I have been working with universal digital copy support team and still do not have my copy of this show. It routed me to Movies anywhere redemption which sent me Jesus Christ Superstar (the original movie version). Many buy purely for the digital copy so hoping for a resolution soon.

I was a little worried from some of the negative reviews here but I used a free gift card and my $5 bonus so I wasn't too worried about getting JCS for free! And I fully enjoyed the show. The live band is excellent and hits every note and really rocks. You can tell they love playing the music. The cast is superb, although the actor that plays Peter, even though he sings great, lacks the emotion or something is off in the song "Could we start again please"...one of my favorites. But Tim Minchin, Melanie C and Ben Forster are just great. The whole production is done really well with big screen behind them playing modern news clips and other things. It will probably be a different production that what you've seen before, the priests are set up as modern day wall street bankers, but that's what I liked about it...who wants to just see the same old thing?? I've seen JCS live with Ted Neeley twice and watched the movie and listened to the album countless times. So if you're like me, it's definitely worth the money and a great addition to your collection.

A very good concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar with good performances and excellent music! This is nice updated version and a great addition to any musical or music video or Superstar fans video library.

Loved all the music and the production values! Glad this came out on cd! Well worth the money!

It's the worst version of this marvelous play that I have ever seen. I hate it.
