doesn't blow cold air,

Our unit doesn't blow cold air, even if you turn the temperature way down. It seems like the compressor isn't kicking in fully.
Also, the vent hose falls out easily. This has an attachment at the end of the hose that doest locks to the window panel. The attachment falls out of the window panel if you try to move it at all, even when you are trying to be careful.
