I feel so cheated. I was so looking forward to working out with Jillian. The game packaging made me feel like I was buying a quality game. I feel that all Jillian Michaels did was lend her name to the product. Has she even played the game? If so I don't know this met her standards. Stick with Wii Fit....don't waste your money.

This is the worst ever wii game. Not only does the game not register your movements, the graphics are awful, and more than half of the activities I could not get to work (such as the grenade portion). I would never ever recommend this to anyone and I am going to return this, if not I will sell it at a game store. If you have not yet bought this game, DO NOT BUY IT!

    Poor game

It doesn't follow your movements very well which creates frustration and not a very fun or hard workout. It seems to have a good concept so I was excited to get it but the product just doesn't work well and I seriously suggest something else similar to spend your money on!

Just thought this would be a good one because of Jillian and the success of the Biggest Loser. Big let down.

I bought this as an impulse buy, and I really wish I had read some reviews about it first. This game is terrible. I'm not sure why Jillian Michaels would put her name on it or why Wii would even release it! I tried it for about an hour when I first bought it, and I couldn't get some of the exercises to work (my character stood still while I worked my butt off trying to get it to move). I thought maybe something was wrong with my copy of the game, but I went online and quickly discovered that lots of people are having this problem. The exercises that did work were also bad. The running exercise is a complete joke, where you are supposed to stand on your Wii board and just shift your weight back and forth. Seriously? With the Wii Fit, at least you can run in place. Don't waste your money on this one. If you don't have Wii Fit yet, buy that. If you do have it and are looking for a supplement (like I was), find something better.

very poor graphics moves when you don't and don't move when you do. Very big waste of money. Bought mine last week at Best Buy and tried to take it back said they haven't had any other complaints so they gave me a different disk.

    Tip for you

I read in the fine print somewhere that if there were problems with making the mii respond to your movements, to shut off the wii console, insert the game again, then click on it with the wii remote. Before then pressing to start, re-sync the board with the console by opening the battery pack on the back and the memory card area on the front, then push the sync on the board first, and then immediately press the sync on the console. After resyncing, then try again. If there is still a problem, it could be that you are using it on carpet. If you have the feet extenders attached and are still having the same problem, put a piece of cardboard under the wii balance board in between it and the carpet. If there are any carpet fibers that are touching the bottom, there will be problems....hope this helps!

I was SO VERY disappointed in Jillian in endorsing this game. I cannot believe she put her name on this product. I would sit down and she is steady saying "Good Job". The character is steady moving even when I sit. I try to make it fall and nothing. I had shopped for this game for months ... sure that it was going to be awesome. It is worse than the fact of wasting my money it is the disappointment. I watch biggest loser faithfully and had great expectations. I hope that these reviews will keep others from the waste and disappointment. I definetly learned my lesson to check out the reviews BEFORE I make the purchase. I guess there is a reason I could not 'try it' in the store and the sales clerk told me " you can't return it"...should have been my sign NOT TO BUY.

like the rest i was so excited to try out this game. i love the wii fit and glad they came out with a new exercise game but then big disappointment. i tried the game and started having the problems like the people who wrote reviews for this game had. i even had the game just freeze on me. i pressed the buttons on the controls, made sure the wii board was on, made sure the batteries were not dead, and even pressed the reset button on the wii but it did not do anything. so finally i just ejected the game. i did this process about two times and finally gave up and exchanged it at best buy. well i just got back from bestbuy and man i should of read the reviews from the very beginning about this game before buying it. the creators could of done a better job.

I have high hopes for this game. I love the balance board and Wii Fit so I thought this game too would be just as fun, but instead I found it to be quite frustrating. Most of the movements made are recognized and it makes it difficult to use the product. My expectations definitely were not met and I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I love workout games for wii, specially the ones that you play with the wii balance board. This game is really difficult to find out the way to make the game react with the movements you make, but for adults, you dont need some game to tell you if your doing great job in workout or not, you just do it the best way you can because you want to do exersise. In wii fit you can cheat the game with the remote control and get a great score, but that is not why you´re doing exersise. Every time I play this game for like 20 minutes my arms and legs hurt, and that means I´m doing a good job. I recomend that when you play this game try to work out as hard as you can instead of trying to make the game register your movements, and you will see better fitness results.

Jillian Michales Fitness Ultimatum 2009 is not the game to purchase if your looking to workout. I purchased this game after reading the cover going in blind by not reading the reviews on this game. I was highly disappointed after loading and trying to do these exercises. I wish I could get my money back I feel like i've been cheated by this product. The exercises are impossible to do, execpt for the running part, but you really have to move your arms up and down. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I found to work good with this game is: if you do not use the Wii fit board! Use two wii remotes, do not use the nunchuk. The graphics aren't that good. But it is ok game. The price is kinda high for it though..

    Bad Choice

Very bad graphics considering you are playing on the Wii, the exercises (all 9 of them) were poorly chosen since the interaction with the WiiMote is non existent or can be easily cheated. I have the Wii Fit and the original game that came with the board is way better and has way more interaction with the board and therefore provides a better workout in the end. Don't expect to see Jillian helping you out or replicating the workouts in the game either.

Those who were really sold on Wii Fit, which I am one of, will find this program a terrible disappointment. I am returning mine immediately after the first two hours. Controllers poorly configured, programming probably not at all thought out. I do not know how you can get a fitness program from this. Ultimatum it is not, except to the programmers who created it.

Bought the game today and I LOVE IT. It's a great workout that really gets your heart rate up. There is no navigating between menus - you can a constant workout that you can set anywhere from 5-60 minutes. You can also set the intensity level from light, medium, and hard. This workout is definitely going to result in some serious weight loss!!!

I've had this program since Christmas and I've really tried to figure out how to make my character on the screen move with the controllers and my own movements. I can run/jog in place with no issues, it's some of the other activities that I'm unable to do, like the paintball grenade or kickboxing, that I get so frustrated that I just turn the program off and work out with the WII fit disc.

    Worst Game Ever

This game is terrible. It does not work with the Wii remotes or Wii board. Jilllian will tell you "good job" even when you don't accomplish it. Best Buy should really take is game off the shelves. I am in the process of looking for my money back for this game. I usually do not write reviews but I don't want anyone else to go through this disappointment and frustration as I have.

This is by far the worse game we have ever purchased. The only reason my heart rate went up was because I was so angry that the system was not registering my movements. Also, it is terribly boring. If you want to work out, use the Wii Fit and My Fitness Coach they are much better choices. It is sad that Jillian Michaels' lent her name for this piece of bad sofware.
